There is fifty stars around the middle thirteen redundant design symbols:
13 tail feathers
13 little globes
13 arrows
13 berries
13 leaves
... etcetra
...but then there are 12 "sticks" coming out from behind eagle's head!
Sure I could google this, but maybe someone has some new insight on the design. Thought I'd ask. by Pat Darnell
Could it be a Menorah, because a candelabra must have an odd number of branches. The central stem in a traditional menorah has branches extending from it as they are grafted. Does it ever make sense to have two grafts on one side and three on the other. Symmetry must be the reason. Or maybe it's just more sandbagging mysticism with no cause.
