Police: School bus dispatcher was bank robbery getaway driver | www.wftv.com:
Reynolds-Bell has worked for Orange County public schools for nearly 24 years. Now, the alleged bank robber is suspended with pay, which means she gets $17.20 per hour.
Police said Reynolds-Bell, a longtime school bus dispatcher, was also a getaway driver for her husband.
"I'm not guilty. And that's all I have to say, according to my lawyer," said Reynolds-Bell. (wftv.com.9. ORLANDO, Fla. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 HERE) ... "
Some questions come to mind. How is it that this bus dispatcher is not guilty of helping to rob a bank? If you drop off a bank robber, and then pick them up as they leave the bank with stolen property, isn't that traditionally part of this type drama?

For sure, it seems very unlikely that a story like this could actually happen in the 21st century ... haven't the robbers seen any bank robbery movies, TV shows, or more recently, TARP?

Mash me up and pile on, I am speechless. Maybe I need to re-read, and find more detail. Did this couple wake up one day and just decide to go out and "rob a bank?" Or did it happen as the suspect getaway driver says, "she is not guilty." She claims she did not find out about her husband's robbing the bank until much later.

When Van Gogh, the Dutch painter, cut off his ear and gave it to his girlfriend, and then did a self-portrait of his bandaged head ... his act had a certain build up. Over time Van Gogh became mentally disturbed enough to play out the deed of self-mutilation.

Don't the robbers realize their troubles are self-inflicted?

But what build up led this couple to rob a bank, and fail so deservedly at it? There is mention by some neighbors that the couple had been arguing over money. Nonetheless, they have certainly given the grand old profession of bank robbery a real bad name. They are a stain on a much revered literary plot, robbing the bank.

Stick 'em up!
" ... Police say that Sharon Reynolds-Bell, who has worked for the Orange County School District for nearly 24 years, was behind the wheel of the car that aided her husband, Johnny Bell, in robbing a TD Bank branch in Titusville, according to Orlando TV station WFTV. (HERE) ... "

If I was the Tallest Man, what would I do?

World's tallest man (7'9") gets married in China. His bride is 5'6. A big car is always a necessity for the big guy, but his new bride doesn't mind. It basically looks like she won't even have to bend over in order to get into his Hummer.

Meet the Challenger !!!
A soaring contender for world’s tallest man — standing at more than 8-feet tall — caused quite a stir after walking into a Chinese hospital.

Is 8-Foot Chinese Man World's Tallest?
Thursday, April 16, 2009 | The Online SUN
Zhao Liang, 27, entered the hospital for an operation to relieve pain from an old muscle tendon injury on his left foot. Due to his unbelievable height, hospital staff immediately rushed to get him properly measured.

What they found was that he stands just under 8-feet, 1-inches tall, making him 4-inches taller than Bao Xishun — who is currently listed as the world's tallest man. He stands at 7-feet, 9-inches in comparison.

Zhao, who lives in Henan province, had been training as a basketball player when he sustained the debilitating foot injury over a decade ago.

Zhao’s parents are of average height, with his father measuring 5-feet, 9-inches tall and his mother at 5-feet, 5-inches.

Bao Xishun, 57, is currently recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s tallest man. [Read Entire Article HERE]

EYEWitness UPDATE -- MUMBai Ask any Terrorism Analyst.... huhhhh?

Reflections on Mumbai
[SOURCE]
Jonathan Ehrlich is a Vancouver businessman who was in one of the hotels that was attacked last week in Mumbai. (Kirkendal,Tom; 12.04.08)

Mumbai is a “soft target,” the terrorism analysts say. Anybody can walk into the hotels, the hospitals, the train stations, and start spraying with a machine gun. Where are the metal detectors, the random bag checks? In Mumbai, it’s impossible to control the crowd. In other cities, if there’s an explosion, people run away from it. In Mumbai, people run toward it — to help. Greater Mumbai takes in a million new residents a year. This is the problem, say the nativists. The city is just too hospitable. You let them in, and they break your heart.

What They Hate About Mumbai
By SUKETU MEHTA

In the Bombay I grew up in, your religion was a personal eccentricity, like a hairstyle. In my school, you were denominated by which cricketer or Bollywood star you worshiped, not which prophet. In today’s Mumbai, things have changed. Hindu and Muslim demagogues want the mobs to come out again in the streets, and slaughter one another in the name of God. They want India and Pakistan to go to war. They want Indian Muslims to be expelled. They want India to get out of Kashmir. They want mosques torn down. They want temples bombed.

Mumbai is all about dhandha, or transaction. From the street food vendor squatting on a sidewalk, fiercely guarding his little business, to the tycoons and their dreams of acquiring Hollywood, this city understands money and has no guilt about the getting and spending of it. I once asked a Muslim man living in a shack without indoor plumbing what kept him in the city. “Mumbai is a golden songbird,” he said. It flies quick and sly, and you’ll have to work hard to catch it, but if you do, a fabulous fortune will open up for you. The executives who congregated in the Taj Mahal hotel were chasing this golden songbird. The terrorists want to kill the songbird....
