MooPig GERD Department :: "I am tired of being Toxic!"
[Picture LINK]
Diary of a Misshapen Dysphemism
by Pat Darnell | Nov 17, 2015 | Bryan TX
Yes, it is that bad. Mirror, mirror, everywhere, who is the pear-shaped Honkey in your glare? Emasculated by the ones who love me, cursed by a dying, incontinent, elder, and once a breeder now impotent, I am thus.
"Ring, Ring," goes the phone.
"Hello, is it really you?" says the caller, me.
"Yes, it is me, after all these years," says the other.
"Help," say I in a moderate tone. "Am I just another victim of bad science and big business?"
If you didn't follow that one, that was me today calling me of yesterday. It's not so far fetched.
"So, what'd you eat today?" asked I past.
"Pretzels and lunch meat," respond I present, "and diet-cola."
TO BE CONTINUED ...

MooPig 'Stuff No One Wants to Hear About' Department :: "Tell us the Truth, MothaFukkers"
Old-Age Stuff, OAS, #100
Mashed Articles by Pat Darnell | Feb 1, 2014 | Bryan TX
[Picture LINK]
Our handy Pocket Reference on Old-Age tells us that older humans are "mostly harmless." Attrition has made its claim and that is the Crux of that Bizkit.
Possibly the most difficult thing to confess is that each of us find later in life that most, if not all of our lives' have been a fraud. Unless one makes things with his own hands, and makes a living doing those things, then most of his life is otherwise moot.
That brings us to Doctors. Apparently no one is looking out for the general good health of humans. Sure, there must be some altruistic good Samaritans in the world who are also in a position of authority, but modern Internet transparency shows that most authorities are just swank morons, holding onto their power with everything that is foul and immoral. We just really need some mothafukkers to step aside and quit gumming up our bidness.
At the referenced article:
Heart surgeon confesses that processed food is slowly killing everyone and natural food is the answer | Mail Online: "Dr. Dwight Lundell has dished the dirt on 'what really causes heart disease' and he admits prescribing cholesterol-lowering medications, and a low-fat, high-simple carbohydrate diet for two-and-a-half decades was misguided. 'These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible,' he writes in an essay, that has been posted on some 250,000 Facebook pages since it appeared on a website called Tuned Body in December."
"The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated. (Dr. Dwight Lundell. Dec 8, 2013. LINK)
'via Blog this'
CONCLUSION
It is difficult to write a short-short essay on most topics concerning health and old-age. Each life is a mosaic of patterns and works that cannot be compartmentalized in a "blog post." But we try, and it usually comes with a cost: "Too Much Information," TMI.
We enjoy this article by Dr. Dwight Lundell, because of his clever way of describing the work of our human circulatory systems. In the comments of his article many dissenters harp on about how this article is not foot-noted, and it is missing publication evidence for his claims.
We don't let stuff like that stop us from being curious. We find Dr. Dwight Lundell to be humble and ahead of the curve of authoritarians of the day. So there. His health warnings might after all send us MooPigsters on a very different path, and our notice of a diet paradigm shift will improve our lives, and our quality of old-age-life will improve.
In all honesty, this is the best we at MooPig Wisdom can do concerning health and living, because to delve further would require finding primary research resources that are hidden behind pay-walls. Then we would have to solicit someone with advanced degrees to decipher those documents. Our operation is low budget, really no budget. We hope you dear reader have some input for us.
Dr. Dwight Lundell, it seems to me, has a valid point of view in that he has been cutting into human bodies and finding corroded arteries for 25 years [two and half decades]. That tells me more than a indecipherable medical paper that is hidden behind paywalls, and would take advanced degrees to read. Hands on, up in your face, advice is important.
Yes, there are skinny fat people and fat skinny people but there are few old fat people. I think I will take his "colloquial" advice to heart.

MooPig Complaints Department :: "Ten Formal Complaints in Six Months"
Of Course Not about Us, Everybody Loves Us!
Snagged by Pat Darnell | June 25, 2013 | Bryan TX
Ten Formal Complaints in Six Months: "Apparently after receiving three, you are meant to have some kind of formal meeting between the parties involved but this never happened. According to the rules, if there are five complaints, an external mediator has to be bought in. This didn't happen either and I was quite disappointed. I don't really have anything against Simon apart from the fact that he likes the band Nickelback and I have no idea what his problem with me is, as I'm pretty sure I am an absolute pleasure to work with.
I brought in donuts once, which is pretty nice. I found them in a bin and left them near Simon's desk. When he asked, "Who brought these donuts in?" I replied, "The girl from the shop across the road brought them in because they have too many" and watched him eat four, complaining between mouthfuls that they weren't very fresh. He would have eaten them all but stopped after finding a dead cricket in the box."

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s regulation at Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1614.102(b)(2) requires Federal agencies to establish or make available an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program. The ADR program must be available during both the pre-complaint stage and the formal complaint stage of the equal employment opportunity (EEO) complaint process.
ADR is a range of problem-solving approaches used for resolving conflict in lieu of more formal and/or adversarial processes, such as court litigation. ADR approaches may be used to resolve a portion of, or an entire claim. Such approaches usually involve the use of a neutral third party who works with the parties involved in the dispute to help them find mutually acceptable solutions.

Do you need a Nutritionist?
Well, because the food on your menu is no longer the food of your youth, you might consider the ramifications of that stuff you are eating.
If you wake up and hear that food is becoming scarce in the world, you need a Nutritionist. If you hear that they are genetically fiddling with the foods you eat, you need Nutritionist. If your "doctor was unable to offer anything more than the standard advice on diet, ... narcotics for pain, and an anti-depressant; and these were not routes that you wanted to take ..." you need Elaine DiRico.
Here in Austin is the best one. Elaine DiRico is who you should correspond with about all your nutritional how's and why's.
Below is the reading list of Elaine's that lends her own nutritional goals.

MooPig Food for Thought Facts :: pROXIMATE cAUSES FOR fOOD cRISIS
Food Sovereignty [SOURCE]
Eric Holt Gimenez
ALTERNATIVERADIO.org
March 2010 retrieved by Pat Darnell : Where recorded: Seattle, WA :: Date recorded: 30 Nov 2009
"Food is the weak link that brought down earlier civilizations," says author Lester Brown. And it could bring our own civilization down if we continue with business as usual.

We are entering a new food era, one marked by higher prices, growing numbers of hungry people, and an intensifying competition for land and water. A record number of Americans are now living on food stamps.
Among the factors responsible for the crisis are the policies of a handful of transnational agri-food monopolies and the use of grain to produce fuel for cars.
The sharp climb in grain prices in the last few years underlines the gravity of the situation. The global cost of wheat, rice, corn, and soybeans has roughly tripled, reaching historic highs.
What are the alternatives? Local communities and international social movements are promoting sustainable agriculture and food sovereignty.
Presentation by Eric Holt Gimenez
Eric Holt-Gimenez is the executive director of FoodFirst/Institute for Food and Development Policy. He is the author of "Campesino a Campesino: Voices from Latin America's Farmer to Farmer Movement" and co-author with Raj Patel of "Food Rebellions! Crisis and the Hunger for Justice."
______________________________
Related Notes on this presentation include:
- BIO-FUELS cane, palm, and, corn by iNDUStrial food production
- Renewable energy tagets ethanol
New demand for those bio fuel crosses food stuffs at that point due to reduction in wheat, and grain supplies. For example the Arthur Daniels Midlands ... hoarding reserves led to tortilla crisis in Mexico. It is a loss of common sense about food production, sort of a perturbation due to twisted thinking.
Nations facing hunger crisis's is due to vulnerable food system is most often measured in FIVE major crops controled by Megla -Industrial Agri Foods Complex such as:
- large Monsanto Genetics
- GMO seed storage that didn't happen over nite
- Green Revolution of 1960 between Global North versus Global South
Supposed redundancy in genetic manipulation of seeds in our recent past is in error. The conclusion has destroyed food supplies by altering crops through planting Agri bio diversity. It turns out, collected seed to make hybrid HY[D] High Yield crops ... pushes peasants out of their fertile fields. Peasants can not afford the food they themselves have planted.
The most damage occurred when extension of the farm was destroyed by Green Revolution 1960 thru 1980.
Had it worked it would have balanced supplies of food throughout the world but instead produced hungry people and saved some groups... equaled out. For example 11 percent had more food while hunger went up 11 percent as they are forced off their land to postage stamp properties and washed out escarpments.
This Corporate food regime, driven by world bank, and WMF imposed an evolutionary tangent that followed EArl Butz who says: "Get big or get out." Led to over production and the banks foreclosed on properties.
[PHOTO E Butz left, Bennett right]
How did the Monies groups destroy food supplies? "This is my [Eric Holtz Gimenez] answer:
Monetary funders said stop growing food and grow exported crops because you need money, dismantle your tariffs... tear them down... get rid of grain reserves ...reserves stabilize prices... "
High prices makes USA and nations of the global South vulnerable. WMF and free trade... or food from global market ..... is no longer from countries of the global south.
Third step to make food supplies FAIL? -- WTO, Nafta, and Kafta, have cemented agriculture into treaties.... Results -- Food Industrial complex is
- highest polluter
- taints water
- imports are increased
- varieties are left to rot in seed banks... losing global heritage
- credit to plant company seeds in the franchise....
- diplacement of peasantry
- Anecdote goes like this -- "... average age of farmer in US is 60" while in ten years the average age of the farmer will be 'DEAD'"
Thus, farmers are out of work, with concentration of profits BUNGE [Bunge's Food Ingredients division is a global business with operations in North and South America, Europe and India.], Monsanto, while a study is made: GMO will save world from hunger. The study is 400 scientists.... and four years later ... food production vs hunger [Trade and Food Production] results were not supportive of GMO "genetically modified organism (GMO) or genetically engineered organism (GEO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering..." (wkpda)
GMO 's are not effective.... the seeds are not higher yielding... meanwhile back at the ranch "... intrinsic Bill Gates joins offices with Monsanto to make free stuff.. [Doomsday Seed Vault] in an unholy union.. to further the ambivalence of megla-industrial food complexes ... have resulted in unpredictable results because of disruptive industry genetic study instead of dirt farmer finding the answer.....
For instance: "... drought resistant corn only grows when there is a draught [Eric H Gimenez]..."
The Gates Foundation [HERE] with a whopping $34.6 billion endowment and a legal necessity to spend $1.5 billion a year on charitable projects around the world to maintain its tax free charitable status. No project is more interesting at the moment than a curious project in one of the world’s most remote spots, Svalbard. Bill Gates is investing millions in a seed bank on the Barents Sea near the Arctic Ocean, some 1,100 kilometers from the North Pole. Svalbard is a barren piece of rock claimed by Norway and ceded in 1925 by international treaty (see map).
World Bank report on agriculture say the north benefits in liberalized trade, while the study was made to support the opposite result. The speaker Mr Gimenez suggests "Africa Union should not sign the free trade agreement ...."
