MooPig Heifer Department :: "Female Sexuality"

Women Rule the Herd
Matriculated by Pat Darnell  |  Dec 21, 2013  |  Bryan TX

[Kindle Price $2.99]

A New Book... it is calling to me from out there. And ...

I would like to leave a message about this, but the Mrs is calling and I have to attend to her base, animalistic and ravenous desires.

Book Title: “What Do Women Want?: Adventures in the Science of Female Desire by Daniel Bergner

EXCERPT
Question to Author: " ... You point out some remarkable ways that scientists have ignored evidence suggesting that women — and female animals — are far from passive when it comes to sex and are in fact often initiators. Do you have a favorite example of this? ... "
" ... Author: I really do. Deidrah, a rhesus monkey, a member of the species that we sent into space in the ’60s as our doubles, to see how well we would survive, is one of my favorite characters in the book. I went down and spent a while at a primatology center with a scientist who was trying to take the blinders off the way we see the sexuality of our closest ancestors. And what I learned was that for decades, despite evidence to the contrary, scientists had painted primate sex as male dominated. Males are the initiators; females the sort of almost indifferent receivers.

" ... But standing next to this scientist Kim Wallen, it was clear that that was not at all true — almost comically so. We spent a day following Deidrah, a relatively tranquil, low-key female monkey, who was nevertheless relentlessly stalking — sexually stalking — her object of desire. If there’s any objectification going on in the monkey kingdom, it’s the females objectifying the males, chasing them, and sort of all but forcing them. It wasn’t just Deidrah, of course — it was all the female monkeys that we were following, and it was just alarming how we could be so sure of this other reality, and blind to the truth that was just staring us right in the face. So that was one example of our blindness to female sexuality and, ultimately I think, our fear of it. ..."
The Truth About Female Desire: It’s Base, Animalistic and Ravenous | Alternet: "Bergner, and the leading sex researchers he interviews, argue that women’s sexuality is not the rational, civilized and balancing force it’s so often made out to be — that it is base, animalistic and ravenous, everything we’we've told ourselves about male sexuality. As one researcher tells Bergner of all the restrictions put on female sexuality: “Those barriers are a testament to the power of the drive itself. It’s a pretty incredible testament. Because the drive must be so strong to override all of that.” “Women’s desire — its inherent range and innate power — is an underestimated and constrained force, even in our times, when all can seem so sexually inundated, so far beyond restriction,” he writes."

A REVIEW
scryberwitch • 7 months ago −
Good studies, valid studies, will always have qualifiers. Especially when the subject being studied is something as variable and subjective as sexuality. His qualifications (of his statements) should not, does not, invalidate the study.
That said, as an actual woman with an actual libido, the headline is right. Why else have patriarchal societies done so many things to "tame" that wild libido of ours? It's so powerful that it threatens insecure, patriarchal men. However, enlightened men find it super hot...

CONCLUSION
I'm enlightened!

MooPig's Business Model Department :: "Gamification?"

You Can't Make This Stuff Up
by Pat Darnell  |  Aug 14, 2013  |  Bryan TX

Leave it to us to be attracted to newer sounding text bytes on the Web. "Gamification:" you can guess what we were thinking when we read that one. We instantly thought of something a bit more burlesque...

1. Gamification --
A cynical practice by corporate douches where workers are supposedly motivated to work even harder on menial, pointless tasks by rewarding them with lame titles, meaningless rankings, coupons or a variety of other real-life trash loot.

  • The person who licks the most envelopes, today, will get a coffee mugs with your boss' picture.
  • Isn't that awesome?! See? We're all about gamification.

Mobile Gamification Done Right - Business Insider: "Gamification, or the use of game elements to promote desired behaviors among customers and employees, has been a popular business strategy for decades. Loyalty programs, cereal box prizes, employee-of-the-month schemes, hidden tokens within video games and applications — these are all examples. "

SUMMARY
Having the right business model is important.

MooPig Restaurant Previews :: "Breastaurants "

Retrieved by Pat Darnell  |  July 1, 20121  |  Bryan TX
[Picture LINK]

Twin Peaks is part of a booming niche in the beleaguered restaurant industry known as "breastaurants," or sports bars that feature scantily clad waitresses. These small chains operate in the tradition of Hooters, which pioneered the concept in the 1980s but has struggled in recent years to stay fresh.

Successful restaurants follow Hooters' formula - Business - US business - msnbc.com: "The nation's top three "breastaurant" chains behind Hooters each had sales growth of 30 percent or more last year, according to Technomic, a food industry research firm. They still represent less than 1 percent of the nation's top restaurants, but the upstart chains are benefitting as other mid-priced options like Applebee's and Bennigan's have experienced declines during the economic downturn."

In April, Hooters also beefed up its menu with items that include a Baja burger, buffalo chicken sliders and a spinach and shrimp salad. The idea is to offer dishes that draw new customers, says David Henninger, Hooters' chief marketing officer. Currently, more than three quarters of Hooters customers are male, with an average age of 45.

MooPig Features: MMWRC -- Mauritania Muslim Women's Rugby Club

Cultural Boundaries are Swept Aside in a Seven-a-Side Women's Rugby Tournament
by Pat Darnell and the G-Spots

[Translated from the Yiddish by Fish]
Organized by the Jane Fonda, Nancy Abeiderrahmane, and Tina Turner Females of Counterreformation League, FoCL, a Seven-a-Side Women's Rugby tournament was to be held in the town of Nouakchott, Mauritania. The event did not go according to the FoCL plan. This week the site where the MMWRC, Mauritania Muslim Women's Rugby Club, had a field day on 9\11\2009, opening a can of whipped goat's ass milk on visiting women's rugby clubs.
Same goes for Betty Mahmoody, who was blissfully unaware that Iranian law would consider her an Iranian, not an American. I feel sympathy for these women and how they were treated, but I also question the lack of blame placed on them – and the surely hundreds of women since – who have gone to a country with their husband or to marry someone, not learned the language, not studied the culture, then placed all of the blame on Islam, capitalizing on their stories in the process. [SOURCE]
Yes, all European Union, British and American Women's rugby clubs visiting were conscripted into Muslim Marriages as they set foot on Muslim soil, or be branded as loose women, to be tied up like camels and beaten.*

Most all of the foreign ruggers figured it as a compliment to be wedded since many of them have seldom any luck with the male species on a social level. Many of the tarts from the scrum halves to hookers have a desire to loose ruck bushy bearded fellows as it were, after a few pints. Not one of the 742 opt'ed for the loose woman thing. Some even took two husbands.

"All men look good at 3AM," said one newlywed lithe, fly-half, blithely into the microphone. We on the outside could hear an Alison Krause song, The Lucky One, over from the juke box at the tavern where pre-tournament gala was happening.

Many photos are coming in over the Internet from the visiting Women Rugby Clubs. It seems like a good old time is being had by all ... we have a photo of one Mauritania woman sliding on the beer covered floor of a tavern on her burkha. In a video from a cell phone we hear the familiar words: "...any woman worth half her salt must drink the boot." Others are pulling their team mates around the slippery floor with their marriage garb burkhas, provided by the Muslim nation.

The next night, Gaza Women's Rugby Club arrived just in time to witness a hallowed event. It was a candle lit evening vespers where many limericks were spoke in toasting their demised sisters from the day's tournaments. There were many slightly salted with seasoned sea salt expired players turned over to the Evening Star. After which, all the Women Ruggers of course keeping with tradition, sit and eat their dead. Rachel Ray, in Burkha-wear, and butter-kiil sneakers, with her minions prepared the meal for the event.

All is fair in Love and War; and all is fare for dinner in Rugby. [mpw\fin]

Note: *Sharia law..., wherever those women and those places happen to be. This includes France, where only last year a court in Lille upheld the right of a Muslim man to hold fast to his faith and annul his marriage when he discovered his bride was not a virgin. And it includes Germany, where in Berlin in 2005 there were eight murders of young women of Turkish origin, executed by members of their own families. And Australia, where, after a group of unveiled Muslim women were raped, the succinct Mufti Taj al-Din al-Hilali explained away the crime as an attack on “uncovered meat.” And it includes the United Kingdom, where Scotland Yard has probed 109 suspicious deaths of women, also likely slaughtered by relatives. Islam is an easy rider: it travels everywhere and often brings with it a lot of baggage.

Shawna Johnson Wins Gold at Beam

Little Girls Grow up in the Most Mysterious Ways

Beam Routine of Nastia Liukin

Gymnasts Liukin, Johnson end with eight medals 01:19 AM CDT on Wednesday, August 20, 2008
by Kate Hairpoulos

BEIJING – Olympic competition ended appropriately Tuesday for Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson – on the medal stand, together, one last time.

Johnson, finally, took her first gold of the Games – to go with her three silvers – in the balance beam final at National Indoor Stadium. Liukin earned silver, raising her medal count to five and tying her with Shannon Miller and Mary Lou Retton as the most decorated American gymnasts in a single Olympics.

"I think Nastia is gorgeous," said Martha Karolyi, the U.S. national team coordinator. "She's probably one of the greatest gymnasts [ever] for USA."

Johnson scored 16.225 on the beam, the class of the field. Liukin, from Parker, scored 16.025 and China's Cheng Fei took bronze at 15.950.

Liukin and Johnson – rivals, roommates and friends – came to Beijing with grand expectations and lived up to them. Their order of finish in the all-around, Liukin No. 1 and Johnson No. 2, surprised some, but they made history. For the first time, the U.S. placed more than one gymnast in the all-around and on balance beam.

Opposites in style but equally stunning, Liukin and Johnson accounted for eight of USA Gymnastics' 10 medals, the most for the U.S. in a non-boycotted Olympics.

Not bad at all, especially considering the American women's rocky start, when mistakes helped give China – despite questions regarding the eligibility of half of its team – the team gold. On the men's side, the Chinese flat-out dominated, winning every gold but one.

Liukin said Monday night she and Johnson crossed off another day of the calendar they keep in their Olympic Village room, intent on finishing strong.

"We thought, 'Wow, this is the last day, so let's really try to enjoy it and have the time of our life,' " said Liukin, 18. "And I think we did."

Liukin's fifth medal meant she topped her father and coach Valeri's four medals from the Seoul Games in 1988.

"I'm glad she did," Valeri said.

Liukin, artistic and clean on the beam as usual Tuesday, finished with one gold, three silvers and a bronze. She tied for first in the uneven bars final Monday, but took silver because of the the International Gymnastics Federation's tiebreaker.

"It was really great to be able to spend it with my dad," Liukin said of her Olympic experience. "This whole trip has been harder and longer than any other trip we've been on, but it's also been so much better.

"It's definitely been more than a dream come true. ... To say we have nine medals combined – Olympic medals, not just any medals – it's amazing."

Johnson, the world all-around champion, was thrilled to win gold in her last opportunity. Especially after a shaky day in which Johnson, 16, dealt with a headache and wasn't her normal self in warmups.

But Johnson hit each of her difficult tumbling passes on the four-inch wide beam. As Karolyi said, Johnson tumbles on the beam like other gymnasts do on the floor.

"For the first time, I really just let everything go," said Johnson, who bit her lip to fight back tears and then beamed her trademark smile on the medal podium. "I didn't think about what other girls had gotten or what the judges were going to give me. It's the Olympics. I wanted to finish up the best I can."

Johnson came to Beijing as the favorite to win all-around gold. And she admitted Tuesday being bothered by not receiving scores as high as she'd become accustomed to. But with a gold finally around her neck, she said she is at peace with the outcome.

"At first it did upset me a little, and I thought about it, and I didn't care," Johnson said. "I was at the Olympics, having the time of my life."Coming out here today, whether [I won], I didn't care. I knew in my heart what I deserved."

Top honors

There are three American gymnasts who have won five medals in an Olympic Games:

Nastia Liukin: 2008 (1 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze)

Shannon Miller: 1992 (2 silver, 3 bronze)

Mary Lou Retton: 1984 (1 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze)

Gold

All Round Champion Women's Gymnastics -- GOLD 2008 Olympics in Beijing

Liukin took first all-around in the Tyson American Cup and Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships earlier this year. She comes from parents who are former gymnasts and coaches.

And tonight she is Champion of the Women's Gymnastics in Beijing.
