MooPig's Business Model Department :: "Gamification?"

You Can't Make This Stuff Up
by Pat Darnell  |  Aug 14, 2013  |  Bryan TX

Leave it to us to be attracted to newer sounding text bytes on the Web. "Gamification:" you can guess what we were thinking when we read that one. We instantly thought of something a bit more burlesque...

1. Gamification --
A cynical practice by corporate douches where workers are supposedly motivated to work even harder on menial, pointless tasks by rewarding them with lame titles, meaningless rankings, coupons or a variety of other real-life trash loot.

  • The person who licks the most envelopes, today, will get a coffee mugs with your boss' picture.
  • Isn't that awesome?! See? We're all about gamification.

Mobile Gamification Done Right - Business Insider: "Gamification, or the use of game elements to promote desired behaviors among customers and employees, has been a popular business strategy for decades. Loyalty programs, cereal box prizes, employee-of-the-month schemes, hidden tokens within video games and applications — these are all examples. "

SUMMARY
Having the right business model is important.

Tatyana Kozhevnikova has the strongest VAGINA in the world | The Sun |TV Magazine: "MEET Russian gymnast Tatyana Kozhevnikova — the woman with the world's strongest VAGINA.

Tatyana, who holds the Guinness World Record for "vagina weightlifting", can pick up an incredible 14kg kettlebell using just her nether regions. And now she has revealed exactly how she does it on new E4 programme The Body Shocking Show.

The eye-popping footage, which will air later this month, shows Tatyana lifting 6kg dumbbells — equivalent to the weight of two melons — using only the muscles in her vagina."

MooPig Anthropology Nanosecond :: "Hair"

Snagged by Pat Darnell and Alex Lifeson  |  March 1, 2013  |  Bryan TX

Cen Yingyuan: 'I'm addicted to my hair', says Chinese woman who hasn't trimmed her 6ft 7in hair in 11 YEARS | Mail Online: "She is unable to wash it in a shower or bath due to its extreme length and is forced to bend over a bucket. Cen washes her hair every four days and her secret to keeping it shiny is to use a bottle of beer. And Cen is not alone in being obsessed with growing her hair. The Red Yao women, a minority ethnic group from Huangluo Yao Village in China, have an average hair length of 5.5 feet with the longest locks measure more than 6.8 feet. Incredibly, the women cut their hair only once in their lives, at 16 years old, before they start their search for a husband, as they believe a woman long hair brings longevity, wealth and good fortune."

'via Blog this'

The trick to keeping such a vast amount of hair shiny, according to Cen, is to rinse it with a bottle of beer

Proud: Cen Yingyuan shows off her 6ft 7in long hair, the result of 11 years without having it cut

COMMENTS
[F]or the people commenting saying the cannot grow their hair past a certain length....this is called your terminal length. your genes determine terminal length and no matter what you do or how long you wait, your hair will never grow beyond this length. i struggle to grow mine just a few inches below my shoulders.
- Jen , Southampton, 01/3/2013

@how does she sleep: she can leave it open or plait it and let it hang over the side of the bed or push it between her pillow and the bedstead. I know because I'm 5 ft 5 inches and my hair is below my knees. And her hair is not 6 ft 7 inches since its basically the same height as she is. And thoroughly washing hair of this length takes five minutes under a decent shower. If she uses a bucket and treats her hair as if its made of spun sugar then yes, it will take her an hour! Drying hair of this length though does take 24 hours, she's right about that...
- ashlis , Asia, 01/3/2013

I'll never moan about having to wash mine ever again.
- MB83 , Ireland, 01/3/2013

HARMONICS
FAUNS,
Eternal pagans,
Beautiful and obscene,
Leaping through the street
With a flicker of hoofs,
And a flash of tails,
You want dryads
And they give you prostitutes.
Your souls are wet flowers,
Bathed in kisses and blood.
Golden Clyties,
The wheel of light
Rushes over your breasts.
Women are flitting around in their shells.
Pale dilutions of the waters of the world
Come through the windows.
Back and forth the women glide in their little waters;
Cellar to garret and garret to cellar,
Winding in and out under door arches and down passages,
They and their spawn,
In the shell,
In the cavern.
You may come in the shell to overpower her,
Males,
But in the shell, in the shell.
She cannot be torn from the shell without dying;
And what is the pleasure of intercourse with the dead?
Souls as dry as autumn leaves,
The color long since out.
The organ plays.
The leaves crackle and rustle a little;
Then sink down.
Old ladies with gray moss on their chins,
Old men with camphor and cotton packed around their heads,
Thin child spirits, sharp and shrill as whistles.
Gray old trees;
Gaunt old woods;
Souls as dry as leaves
After autumn is past.
Blind, they storm up from the pit.
You gave them the force,
You, when You poured the measure of agony into them.
Didn't You know what it would be,
Giving blind people fire?
Not gold and red and amber fire,
But marsh fire.
Fire of ice,
Suffering forged into suffering!
They are coming up now.
The sword is uplifted in the hands of the monster.
My valiant little puppets,
Did you think you could stand out against this?
Pierrot and Columbine breeding in the flowers....
There must be no flowers.
Black man hanged on a silver tree;
(Down by the river,
Slow river,
White breast,
White face with blood on it.
)
Black man creaks in the wind,
Knees slack.
Brown poppies, melting in moonlight,
Swerve on glistening stems
Across an endless field
To the music of a blood white face
And a tired little devil child
Rocked to sleep on a rope.
Crystal columns,
When they bend they crack;
Brittle souls,
Conforming, yet not conforming–
Mirrors.
Masculine souls pass across the mirrors:
Whirling, gliding ecstasies–
Retreating, retreating,
Dimly, dimly,
Like dreams fading across the mirrors.
Then the mirrors,
Stark and brilliant in the sunshine,
Blank as the desert,
Blank as the Sphinx,
Winking golden eyes in the twinkles of light,
Silent, immutable, vacuous infinity,
Illimitable capacity for absorption,
Absorbing nothing.
Have the shapes and the shadows been swallowed up
In your recesses without depth,
You drinkers of life,
Twinkling maliciously
Your golden yellow eyes,
Mirrors winking in the sunshine?
Gray old spinners,
Weaving with the crafty fibers of your souls;
Nothing was given you but those impalpable threads.
Yet you have bound the race,
Stranglers,
With your silver spun mysteries.
All the cruel,
All the mad,
The foolish,
And the beautiful, too:
It all belongs to you
Since the first time
That you began to drop the filmy threads
When the world was half asleep.
Sometimes you are young girls;
Sometimes there are roses in your hair.
But I know you–
Sitting back there in the hollow shadows of your wombs.
The crafty fibers of your souls
Are woven in and out
With the fibers of life.
Sometimes women with eyes like wet green berries
Glide across the slick mirror of their own smiles
And vanish through lengths of gold and marble drawing rooms.
The marble smiles,
As sensuous as snow;
Hips of the Graces;
Shoulders of Clytie;
Breasts frozen as foam,
Frozen as camelia bloom;
Mounds of marble flesh,
Inexplicable wonder of white....
I dream about statuesque beauties
Who look from the shadows of opera boxes;
Or elegant ladies in novels of eighteen thirty,
At the hunt ball...
Reflections in a polish floor,
A portrait by Renoir,
A Degas dancing girl,
English country houses,
An autumn afternoon in the Bois,
Something I have read of...
In sleep one vision retreating through another,
Like mirrors being doors to other mirrors,
Satin, and lace, and white shoulders,
And elegant ladies,
Dancing, dancing.
Death,
Being a woman,
Being passive like all final things,
Being a mother,
Waits.
Shining faces
Gray and melt into her flesh.
Death envies those asleep in her,
Little children who have come back,
Fiery faces,
Bright for a moment in the darkness,
Extinguished softly in her womb.

Santorum’s wife’s abortion was different, you see. - CafeMom:

EXCERPT  |  " ... "I hereby call on Rick Santorum to sue the doctor who performed the surgery that saved his wife’s life. While it may not be a criminal act yet, at least you can get damages from the doctor for daring to save your wife’s life at the expense of your wife’s constitutionally endowed infection source. That act was a second-trimester abortion. It was a “partial birth abortion”. It was done only to save your wife’s life. It is done generally only to save other mothers’ lives. It is not a criminal act in any respect. If you do not sue this doctor, you are a hypocrite of the highest order, and deserving of the worst epithets people can Google-bomb you with." FOCUS: The Santorum Strategy

Retrieved by Pat Darnell  |  March 30, 2012  |  Bryan TX
[Picture LINK]
FOCUS: The Santorum Strategy: "Liberals tend to underestimate the importance of public discourse"

The Republican presidential campaign is not just about the presidential race. It is about using conservative language to strengthen conservative values in the brains of voters - in campaigns at all levels from Congress to school boards. Part of the Republican strategy is to get liberals to argue against them, repeating conservative language. There is a reason I wrote a book called Don't Think of an Elephant! When you negate conservative language, you activate conservative ideas and, hence, automatically and unconsciously strengthen the brain circuitry that characterizes conservative values. (George Lakoff, Reader Supported News. 12 March 12. HERE)

'via Blog this'
EXCERPT | " ... These values follow from certain ideal progressive family values, as projected to larger institutions. The progressive family has parents of equal authority. Their central moral role requires empathy with each other and their children, it requires self-responsibility, and responsibility for the well-being of other family members. This means open communication, transparency about family rules, shared decision-making, and need-based fairness.

This is an idealized view. Because our first acquaintance with being governed is in our families, we come to understand ideal versions of governing institutions (e.g., churches, schools, teams, and nations) in terms of idealizations of families.

The idealized conservative family is structured around a strict father who is the natural leader of the family, who is assumed to know right from wrong, whose authority is absolute and unchallengeable, who is masculine, makes decisions about reproduction, and who sets the rules - in short, the Decider. Children must be taught right from wrong through strict discipline, which is required to be moral. This maps onto the nation. To be prosperous in a free market, one must be fiscally disciplined. If you are not prosperous, you must not be disciplined, and if you are not disciplined, you cannot be moral, and so you deserve your poverty. ... "
So in summary, the 'correct thing to do' does not always make it to the ballot boxes.

FWD :: FWD Email "Gullible's Island"

Marcel Sebo Copied from, 'Hot Liberals' post

Just sit right back
And you'll hear a tale
A tale of a campaign trip,
That started in Iowa in Fall,
And all the candidates were shit.
The Mitt was a crooked businessman,
The Newt an adult-er-er,
The Republican field, though not so good,
Thought they'd win because of Tea Baggers,
Thought they'd win because of Tea Baggers.

The campaign started getting rough,
The Super Pacs slung dirt,
Exposing the corruption of Republicans
Would the Presidency be lost?
Would the Presidency be lost?

The shit was slung by the Super Pacs
On all the candidates it hit
On Gilligan,
The Skipper too.
The millionaire
And his wife,
The movie star,
And the Rest
Here on Republican Isle.

Layoffs at Proctor and Gamble 2012 ?

Retrieved by Pat Darnell | Jan 22, 2012 | Bryan TX

Rumor has it that the Proctor and Gamble is laying off from 2,000 to 20,000 workers. Chilling to consider; what is the fallout? We shall see as it develops. Here below is a testament of one of the victims.
[P and G LOGO LINK]

Layoffs in 2010 at Proctor and Gamble catch officials off guard: "“pursuant to organizational and operational changes.” (Denise G. Callahan, Staff Writer March 24, 2010)"

'via Blog this'

Layoffs 2012 are apparently catching workers off Guard
EXCERPT  |  [Testimony]  " ... While a being a dedicated P and G Rm (as we were not supposed to work for other companies-or our competition) I know many P and G Rm's that also worked for other companies. Some received same pay, some would be in the stores doing P and G workorders and also 3rd party work-for P and G- and getting paid $2.00 more than what P and G Rm's got paid. And don't be surprised if you go to one of the companies suggested and you have an ex-P and G Rm for you supervisior.
P and G did not want to pay any benefits, that's why they kept us down to a certain yearly hours we could work. They had alot of work all these years, 3rd partied out P and G work because we had to stay under the yearly hours so they didn't have to pay benefits.
I am also a stockholder. The stockholder's they are concerned with are corporate not the little working people like the aveage Joe or their peon's, grunt workers, P and G little Rm's. The Rm's that have store and customer contact.
Corporate can sell to the stores, but it's the Rm's that get the product sold to the customer so the stores will order more P and G product. Otherwise as corporate sells product to stores and it sits on shelf and does not sell, stores will not order more of a product that does not sell.
How funny it is that we the grunt workers held P and G higher in standards than they show for their employees.

In all, I have met many good, hard working people and made many friendships.

I do not know what I will decided to do after all this is over with, as I have become acustom
to eating and paying bills. I will have to work at some point.

A House (including P and G Corporate House) is only as good as it's foundation (Rm's)
Once you start chipping away at the foundation, the house will start to fall.

Even though we are all shocked and surprised (which is a normal reaction after being slapped in the face) I wish all Rm's well and much, much success.  (Today, 09:58 AM. by Anonymous. Re: Layoffs in 2012? LINK) ... "

John Edwards faces indictment charges :: Ex-US presidential candidate charged

Retrieved by Pat Darnell  |  June 3, 2011  |  Bryan TX
" ... A youthful, silver-tongued trial lawyer elected senator from North Carolina, Edwards sought the Democratic Party presidential nomination in 2004 and 2008. In 2004, he became Democrat John Kerry's running mate, but the two were defeated by George W Bush, who was running for re-election.

His indictment marks a stunning fall for a man once seen as a contender for the White House. ... "
EXCERPT  |  " ... The case relies heavily on Andrew Young, a former close aide to Edwards who initially claimed to be the baby's father so the politician could continue his 2008 White House race.
Young later wrote a tell-all book about the affair in which he detailed a costly and elaborate effort to keep it from going public. He has also testified before a North Carolina grand jury.
Edwards admitted to the affair in August 2008, after his campaign had ended, but did not admit to fathering the child until January last year.
 If convicted, Edwards faces up to five years prison and a $US250,000 ($A234,400) fine on the conspiracy charge; up to five years prison and a $US250,000 fine on each count of accepting and receiving illegal campaign contributions; and a maximum of five years prison and a $US250,000 fine on the charge of hiding the alleged illegal donations. MooPig Features: MMWRC -- Mauritania Muslim Women's Rugby Club

Cultural Boundaries are Swept Aside in a Seven-a-Side Women's Rugby Tournament
by Pat Darnell and the G-Spots

[Translated from the Yiddish by Fish]
Organized by the Jane Fonda, Nancy Abeiderrahmane, and Tina Turner Females of Counterreformation League, FoCL, a Seven-a-Side Women's Rugby tournament was to be held in the town of Nouakchott, Mauritania. The event did not go according to the FoCL plan. This week the site where the MMWRC, Mauritania Muslim Women's Rugby Club, had a field day on 9\11\2009, opening a can of whipped goat's ass milk on visiting women's rugby clubs.
Same goes for Betty Mahmoody, who was blissfully unaware that Iranian law would consider her an Iranian, not an American. I feel sympathy for these women and how they were treated, but I also question the lack of blame placed on them – and the surely hundreds of women since – who have gone to a country with their husband or to marry someone, not learned the language, not studied the culture, then placed all of the blame on Islam, capitalizing on their stories in the process. [SOURCE]
Yes, all European Union, British and American Women's rugby clubs visiting were conscripted into Muslim Marriages as they set foot on Muslim soil, or be branded as loose women, to be tied up like camels and beaten.*

Most all of the foreign ruggers figured it as a compliment to be wedded since many of them have seldom any luck with the male species on a social level. Many of the tarts from the scrum halves to hookers have a desire to loose ruck bushy bearded fellows as it were, after a few pints. Not one of the 742 opt'ed for the loose woman thing. Some even took two husbands.

"All men look good at 3AM," said one newlywed lithe, fly-half, blithely into the microphone. We on the outside could hear an Alison Krause song, The Lucky One, over from the juke box at the tavern where pre-tournament gala was happening.

Many photos are coming in over the Internet from the visiting Women Rugby Clubs. It seems like a good old time is being had by all ... we have a photo of one Mauritania woman sliding on the beer covered floor of a tavern on her burkha. In a video from a cell phone we hear the familiar words: "...any woman worth half her salt must drink the boot." Others are pulling their team mates around the slippery floor with their marriage garb burkhas, provided by the Muslim nation.

The next night, Gaza Women's Rugby Club arrived just in time to witness a hallowed event. It was a candle lit evening vespers where many limericks were spoke in toasting their demised sisters from the day's tournaments. There were many slightly salted with seasoned sea salt expired players turned over to the Evening Star. After which, all the Women Ruggers of course keeping with tradition, sit and eat their dead. Rachel Ray, in Burkha-wear, and butter-kiil sneakers, with her minions prepared the meal for the event.

All is fair in Love and War; and all is fare for dinner in Rugby. [mpw\fin]
#############
Note: *Sharia law..., wherever those women and those places happen to be. This includes France, where only last year a court in Lille upheld the right of a Muslim man to hold fast to his faith and annul his marriage when he discovered his bride was not a virgin. And it includes Germany, where in Berlin in 2005 there were eight murders of young women of Turkish origin, executed by members of their own families. And Australia, where, after a group of unveiled Muslim women were raped, the succinct Mufti Taj al-Din al-Hilali explained away the crime as an attack on “uncovered meat.” And it includes the United Kingdom, where Scotland Yard has probed 109 suspicious deaths of women, also likely slaughtered by relatives. Islam is an easy rider: it travels everywhere and often brings with it a lot of baggage.

Zappaesque, Staged Anarchy? No, just a time to Chill Out with Ponchos

An idea to do something very creative in support of Barack Obama, but requiring serious coordination, could have ended in total chaos, but instead turned into an incredible convergence of hundreds of Alaskan women in Anchorage, Alaska. Check out the results of this surprise event that was held on Saturday, October 25 based on an idea that was thought of just 6 days earlier!
