Here's how we Spin the Delhi Commonwealth Games Story

MooPig Contention and Cookies of Parody, by Pat Darnell

The whole 9\11-terrorist-like planned attack on infrastructure is the work attributed to this implicated, half-insect, ... half-human creature who orchestrated the entire catastrophe. What should have been the Delhi Commonwealth Games is now a tragedy.
"I'm trying to remain eternally optimistic. But at some point we will reach the point of no return and that is when we will have to decide."

The sense of impending crisis was exacerbated when a section of the ceiling in the weightlifting arena fell down amid growing fears over rising flood waters near the athletes' village, which had already been condemned by team officials as "filthy" and "unfit for human occupation".

With the Games at risk of descending into farce, thousands of athletes from the major competing nations remained in the dark about whether or not they would be boarding a plane to compete.

When asked 'Why he did it?' Mahmoud Admadinejad said "I could sure use a shave." That is when most every top notch athlete and his delegates got up and walked out of the room...

The beleaguered Delhi chief minister, Sheila Dikshit, played down the problems and accused the media of damaging India's image. "Something may be dripping, some tile may collapse, doesn't mean the entire Games are bad," she told reporters. [LINK]

It is now known that the accident on Tuesday, in which 27 were injured when a bridge connecting the athletes' carpark to the main Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium collapsed, was caused when a metal pin worked loose detaching the main structure from its suspension cables.

Five workers remained in a critical condition, several with serious spinal injuries. Most of the injured were contracted labourers from poor rural areas. Campaigners say dozens of workers have been killed and hundreds injured in a succession of accidents at Games venues.
Insect-Man, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, might have said Friday 'the UN should investigate the "true reason" for the "bridge collapse" attacks' as he defended a speech which implicated the US government in the atrocity.

"I did not pass a judgement, I simply made proposals for a humane solution to the problems that have risen as a result of Rugby players who eat their dead," Ahmadinejad told a press conference. [LINK]

MooPig Site Review :: "Facebook -- Privacy Enemy Number One?" Part Two

HIGHEST FORMS OF PARODY:
"It's clear why folks would associate this kind of deceptive practice with Zuckerberg. Although Zuckerberg told users back in 2007 that privacy controls are "the vector around which Facebook operates," by January 2010 he had changed his tune, saying that he wouldn't include privacy controls if he were to restart Facebook from scratch. And just a few days ago, a New York Times reporter quoted a Facebook employee as saying Zuckerberg "doesn't believe in privacy". (Jones, Tim. 29.04.2010, HERE)"
Facebook's "Evil Interfaces"
APRIL 29TH, 2010 | Commentary by Tim Jones | Retrieved EXCERPT by Pat Darnell HERE
Social networking companies don't have it easy. Advertisers covet their users' data, and in a niche that often seems to lack a clear business model, selling (or otherwise leveraging) that data is a tremendously tempting opportunity. But most users simply don't want to share as much information with marketers or other "partners" as corporations would like them to. So it's no surprise that some companies try to have it both ways. (Jones, Tim. 29.04.2010, HERE)

Monday evening, after an exasperating few days trying to make sense of Facebook's bizzare new "opt-out" procedures, we asked folks on Twitter and Facebook a question:

The world needs a simple word or term that means "the act of creating deliberately confusing jargon and user-interfaces which trick your users into sharing more info about themselves than they really want to." Suggestions?
And the suggestions rolled in! Our favorites include "bait-and-click", "bait-and-phish", "dot-comfidence games", and "confuser-interface-design".

Although we didn't specifically mention Facebook in our question, by far the most popular suggestions were variations on this one from @heisenthought on Twitter:

How about "zuck"? As in: "That user-interface totally zuckered me into sharing 50 wedding photos. That kinda zucks"
Other suggestions included "Zuckermining", "Infozuckering", "Zuckerpunch" and plenty of other variations on the name of Facebook's Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. Others suggested words like "Facebooking", "Facebaiting", and "Facebunk". [read entire article HERE...]

"As Conti describes it, a good interface is meant to help users achieve their goals as easily as possible. But an "evil" interface is meant to trick users into doing things they don't want to. Conti's examples include aggressive pop-up ads, malware that masquerades as anti-virus software, and pre-checked checkboxes for unwanted "special offers"." (ibid)

"Illegal Illegals" Song by ??

[Entire Page Captured HERE]
by Pat Darnell for Review by Ad Sponsors of MooPig Wisdom

Pages are from IllegalAliens ...
"AMNESTY means never having immigration enforcement!
Those 'undocumented' are actually 'highly documented' with fraudulent documents our government readily accepts.
There should be no debate over illegal invasion."

############
"The message below from Fatboy Music tells how this country group has been unable to get the song played on country radio:

"Recently my partner and I have run into a problem getting air play for our country music song, Illegal Illegals. We were told by research and our southwest regional promoter that radio stations were weary about playing the song due to advertisement money.

They said they loved the song, they played it in their cars and homes, but they would be apprehensive to play it on the air. This is troubling because as American citizens, we are fighting a fight that must be won, (there is no room for a ceasefire here).

It is a fight for our country's hard working citizens and it is a fight to maintain our nation's identity. Hardworking people are paying into our system, and the illegal immigrants are putting their hands in the jar and taking something they did not earn and simply do not deserve."

You can help by asking country radio stations to play Illegal Illegals. Please email the following link to ... radio stations ..."

MooPig Features: MMWRC -- Mauritania Muslim Women's Rugby Club

Cultural Boundaries are Swept Aside in a Seven-a-Side Women's Rugby Tournament
by Pat Darnell and the G-Spots

[Translated from the Yiddish by Fish]
Organized by the Jane Fonda, Nancy Abeiderrahmane, and Tina Turner Females of Counterreformation League, FoCL, a Seven-a-Side Women's Rugby tournament was to be held in the town of Nouakchott, Mauritania. The event did not go according to the FoCL plan. This week the site where the MMWRC, Mauritania Muslim Women's Rugby Club, had a field day on 9\11\2009, opening a can of whipped goat's ass milk on visiting women's rugby clubs.
Same goes for Betty Mahmoody, who was blissfully unaware that Iranian law would consider her an Iranian, not an American. I feel sympathy for these women and how they were treated, but I also question the lack of blame placed on them – and the surely hundreds of women since – who have gone to a country with their husband or to marry someone, not learned the language, not studied the culture, then placed all of the blame on Islam, capitalizing on their stories in the process. [SOURCE]
Yes, all European Union, British and American Women's rugby clubs visiting were conscripted into Muslim Marriages as they set foot on Muslim soil, or be branded as loose women, to be tied up like camels and beaten.*

Most all of the foreign ruggers figured it as a compliment to be wedded since many of them have seldom any luck with the male species on a social level. Many of the tarts from the scrum halves to hookers have a desire to loose ruck bushy bearded fellows as it were, after a few pints. Not one of the 742 opt'ed for the loose woman thing. Some even took two husbands.

"All men look good at 3AM," said one newlywed lithe, fly-half, blithely into the microphone. We on the outside could hear an Alison Krause song, The Lucky One, over from the juke box at the tavern where pre-tournament gala was happening.

Many photos are coming in over the Internet from the visiting Women Rugby Clubs. It seems like a good old time is being had by all ... we have a photo of one Mauritania woman sliding on the beer covered floor of a tavern on her burkha. In a video from a cell phone we hear the familiar words: "...any woman worth half her salt must drink the boot." Others are pulling their team mates around the slippery floor with their marriage garb burkhas, provided by the Muslim nation.

The next night, Gaza Women's Rugby Club arrived just in time to witness a hallowed event. It was a candle lit evening vespers where many limericks were spoke in toasting their demised sisters from the day's tournaments. There were many slightly salted with seasoned sea salt expired players turned over to the Evening Star. After which, all the Women Ruggers of course keeping with tradition, sit and eat their dead. Rachel Ray, in Burkha-wear, and butter-kiil sneakers, with her minions prepared the meal for the event.

All is fair in Love and War; and all is fare for dinner in Rugby. [mpw\fin]
#############
Note: *Sharia law..., wherever those women and those places happen to be. This includes France, where only last year a court in Lille upheld the right of a Muslim man to hold fast to his faith and annul his marriage when he discovered his bride was not a virgin. And it includes Germany, where in Berlin in 2005 there were eight murders of young women of Turkish origin, executed by members of their own families. And Australia, where, after a group of unveiled Muslim women were raped, the succinct Mufti Taj al-Din al-Hilali explained away the crime as an attack on “uncovered meat.” And it includes the United Kingdom, where Scotland Yard has probed 109 suspicious deaths of women, also likely slaughtered by relatives. Islam is an easy rider: it travels everywhere and often brings with it a lot of baggage.

Article on Facism in Washigton, DC

MooPig da' Furst maintains a bullheaded stance that the Federal Government was good while the United States was in its infancy, as it served to regulate states' regulators in pioneer and developing economy days. But now as late as WWII, our federal government should be unplugged except for "socialist" institutions like the postal service, and military, and internet and maybe energy, maybe health care.

"I was hoping Dubya would unplug D.C. on his way out... but it remains only a dream.." says I; "in his and his Daddy's combined efforts, I see where they might be reticent to do something like that... even if they could. The Bushes are in the oil business after all."

Though strongly worded, here is a strong case for individual states to declare sovereignty...

States Beginning to Fight Fascists in Washington
Posted by Economics9698 at 3:37 PM | [SOURCE] | @Fountainhead Zero

Some of the states are beginning to realize the severity of the threat from the Fascist in Washington DC. Most notably Texas with it’s declaration of sovereignty last April. Some states are sticking it Washington’s eye like Montana which passes gun legislation the exempts Montana gun manufactures and consumers from all federal gun legislation. Parts of Michigan, Pennsylvania and all of Missouri are crafting legislation that is opposed to the fascist march of Washington.

As the blog below on this web site illustrates the increased foreign debt to 35% of the GDP to the rest of the world by the United States is extremely telling in the direction the politicians are taking America.

The fascist are busy arming themselves with the arsenal of tools needed to establish a dictatorship. Military loyalty would be the first tool. Nobody thinks Tienanmen Square can happen here in the United States but it could as more people realize the brutality of the regime in Washington. [...read whole article here...]

...We have seen the Republicans sell out time after time on bail outs, oil drilling, prescription drug benefits, education and the list goes on. People and states need to accept the facts that if the Republicans gain power in 2010 the dictatorship moves forward at a slower pace. And that's it.

Zeeland Michigan getting Spruced up as Next East Coast Atlantic Sea Board Town

Why Would Zeeland have a Salt Water Aquarium Store?
by Pat Darnell

[SOURCE]

It has not been proven by any alleged scientist anywhere that global warming could raise the ocean levels high enough to make Zeeland Michigan an Atlantic Coastal town. That is not why the Fernandez brothers, Adam and Nick are giving a face lift to their quaint store.
“Saltwater aquariums are a good allergy-free alternative to pets, but a lot of people see it as a hobby,” says Adam, 29. “Others see it as living art, an interior decorating design statement.”
Two brothers renovate, reopen Zeeland’s best kept secret—a saltwater aquarium store
By: Deborah Johnson Wood | December 11, 2008

In addition to the new interior, the owners have reduced their operating costs by some 40 percent by taking some simple conservation measures. Placing acrylic covers on the aquariums when the store is closed reduced water evaporation from 30 gallons a day to two gallons a day. That alone saves the store about $700 a month in water and deionization costs.

A new ultraviolet sterilizer zaps parasites, saving anywhere from $600 to $900 a month by keeping the inventory alive and healthy.

MooPig Enterprises loves to see fiction turn into fact: "Eco Reef, owned by brothers Adam and Nick Fernandez since 2006, recently underwent an interior renovation to spruce up the store’s displays of live fish and corals. The inventory includes clown fish (Nemo), blue hippo tang (Dory), lion fish, stingrays, sea horses, and even shark eggs customers can hatch in their home aquariums."

Now that is foresight MooPig likes to trust. Zeeland is the New Atlantic City boardwalk... no? Prove it.
