CONCLUSION
The issue is "Did we torture or did we not torture?" There is no middle ground for this activity so loved by Cheney and Dubya, Rumsfeld and Rice. Torture is still amoral, up there with cannibalism, and only in America could these people get away with it, is what we are telling the world?

If I were Dubya, Cheney or the others I would drink myself blind and shoot myself. But that won't happen. So, more questions are raised than can be answered.

CONCLUSION
Since the Bushes are so successfully entrenched in the oil business as transplanted Texans, we could conclude that all of Texans follow the Bushes' model of business ethics, or Sans-ethics in this case. Whoa there partner, does that include everyone in the oil business from Texas?

CAIRO – Thousands of supporters and opponents of President Hosni Mubarak battled in Cairo's main square Wednesday, raining stones and bottles down on each other as gunshots rang in the air. In scenes of uncontrolled violence, government backers galloped in on horses and camels, only to be dragged to the ground by their rivals and beaten bloody.

The two sides faced off at a front line next to the famed Egyptian Museum at the edge of central Tahrir Square, where they crouched behind abandoned trucks, hurling chunks of concrete and bottles at each other. Government supporters waved machetes, and entire rooftoops of several nearby buildings were covered with their fighters, who hurled rocks, bricks and firebombs on the crowd below and tearing up satellite dishes to use as shields.

Bloodied anti-government protesters were taken to makeshift clinics in mosques and alleyways, and some pleaded for protection from soldiers stationed at the square, who refused. Though they occasionally fired warning shots in the air, the soldiers did nothing to stop the fighting.

All the mid-west correspondent can think to say is " Down with Bush !! Death to Americans! Two falafel, hold the mustard! "

The Reason why Every One Finds Geo W Bush Irritating

George W is not a gifted liar. He has no talent for looking like he is telling the truth while giving out misinformation, double talk, red herrings and other untruths. And like many conditional body language hitches, his onlookers notice and think he "is" lying.

TV people have become very good at looking credible, and expect the Politicians to follow their rules of presentation. In early days of TV, people were less aware of lenses picking up their every flaw and tic.

George W is given what to say in his written speeches that are half-true, and he reads it. If he starts talking though, he is telling a different story. It is perceived as a lie most of the time.

This flaw is not "good" for business. One must have an extraordinary ability to lie under duress, and not miss a beat in one's explanation. I suggest talking with experts on the subject, if you have further interest, or, if you strongly disagree.

That is why no one likes him very much. He is obviously reluctant to boldly go where his father and others have gone. He is tongue tied, maybe temporarily, but the deed is done. Anyway, it's all moot, and in the freezer.

It's true. Former Texas A&M University President Robert Gates was not playing dominoes at the Dixie Chicken during Friday's graduation ceremony.

Gates wanted to be at the ceremony, President Bush said in his keynote address to 3,700 graduates at Reed Arena, but "he's got an excused absence."

The secretary of defense was traveling to the Middle East to consult with military leaders there, Bush said.

"It's not like he's over at the Dixie Chicken," Bush said to laughter.

Bush's speech was laced with local references, but having the popular Aggie hangout mentioned was special, said Katy Jackson, who owns the Dixie Chicken with her sister, Jennifer Ganter.

Jackson said about 20 people were at The Chicken watching Bush's speech on TV. When he mentioned the Northgate bar, "it was pretty much shock and excitement," she said.

Hold on here. With the exception of very few presidents (this includes the forthcoming one), most speeches are prepared by one or a team of speech writers. These writers may know about key places in Aggieland (after making a few phone calls), but given the intellectual abilities of Bush, I sincerely doubts he knows where and what they are.

An array of donors who never had given money in a federal election opened their wallets to Mitt Romney this year, drawn to him through his networks in the business world and the Mormon church.
Utah, seldom a go-to state for politicians seeking money, was Romney’s second most generous state, reflecting the ties he has built there through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his time as president of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Games.
That success helped vault Romney to the top of the money race among Republican presidential candidates with more than $20 million in the first quarter of this year.
An analysis of new campaign finance reports by The Associated Press shows that in some Utah ZIP codes, Romney, a Mormon and former governor of Massachusetts, raised nearly 10 times the amounts raised by President Bush in each of the past two presidential elections.
“I don’t part with my money lightly, but I felt it was money well spent,” said Ken Leister, a Mormon and a businessman from Sandy, Utah. Leister, a first time political donor, and his wife contributed $2,000 to the Romney camp this year.
