MooPig Re-run Fun :: "I'm in my Fifties now, so I'm going to start suing"

Class Action Suits We'd Like to See: Article Originally ran 12/30/08 12:10 AM

What, Me MAD?
by Pat Darnell | 12/30/08 12:10 AM
I think I will start with a Class Action calling out Mainstream Actresses --

To kickoff the new year, I will file a petition to get back all that is taken from our family by actresses and actors who do not maintain their natural looks. First off Meg Ryan will receive a copy for cutting down her nose so that she looks like Charo when I see her in movies now, 2008. "I don't pay my buck fiddy to see what the actress thinks I should see, I pay to see Meg Ryan as she is," says I. "Give me back my money."

Then I might follow up with a suit against the computer industry for finding so many ways to make it more complicated to write a letter to my friends.

I should include the education system in my appeals for teaching me binary math when I was in elementary school. I think it messed with my logical development, and interrupted my growth. "You want proof? Just look at this blog... yeah, proof, up yours!"

Women who have scorned me, false gods, and the entire authorship of Scientology will hear from me: including Wayne Newton for not singing high notes anymore.

I might single out for class action suit demanding compensation to MAD Magazine readers for MAD going on TV with stupidity and tasteless parody... oh yeah that is what they do. Maybe I will have to rethink that one.

Other groups who need to answer for their less than ideal performance: the IMF, beekeepers, and meat eaters. Hey New York, do you ever eat a steak? Philly tell me you don't eat a lot of steak? How could you let the beef industry falter so far away from its main purpose? Beef recalls in 2008, where's the beef buddy boys?

Beekeepers, how did you obviously fall down on the job so completely and lose all the bees?

International Monetary Fund, how did you just go and let US bankers and securities groups dip into your enormous cache of funds with hedges and gambles? Aren't there any other nations in there to watch things?

So, Meg, you have done so much damage to yourself, it seems you have suffered enough. So I am going to remind you with this punitive subpoena to appear before the court of human race opinion as you ought to be, not as you so often make us try to envision you might be.. How do you like them apples, old girl? You've been served.

This is going to be a GREAT year, 2009. I am truly excited!

 [...]

HA! We were bluffing! But seriously, folks, shouldn't we be compensated?

What's Been Going On with Gov Sarah Palin??

Laying Down Suppression Fire
by Pat Darnell and the un-Herd
MooPig's Rumor Mill has come up with three issues that have brought our former babelicious clothes horse to national attention... during this stumbluous period of USA economic ruin. Her activities seem as scattered as the shot out of her shotgun.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's first two years in office have been called a time of milk and honey, when the resource-rich state was flush with wealth from record oil prices. Sarah Palin In Trouble As Oil Prices Fall: AP Huffpost - RACHEL D'ORO | February 17, 2009

The second half of her term isn't looking so rosy as Palin faces her first major financial challenge as Governor.

The rapid decline of oil prices has left the state in a looming budget crisis and a late-entrant in the national recession. And that could have political repercussions for the former Republican vice presidential hopeful, who has signaled an interest in a 2012 presidential run but must stay visible in the Lower 48 to be successful.

The state currently has $6.6 billion in its constitutional budget reserve fund that it could tap into. A few billion dollars more also is available from other pockets, said Juneau economist Gregg Erickson, a longtime Alaska budget watcher.

Given Alaska's robust reserves, the state is well-prepared to weather the next two years, Erickson said. As to how long reserves will last after that, there are too many factors involved to say for sure.

Right to Life Palin Style Stimulus
The Huffington Post | Rachel Weiner | April 12, 2009
Palin herself will be leaving Alaska this week to attend the Vanderburgh County Right to Life dinner in Evansville, Ind. on Thursday, as well as an event for special-needs children.

"There are some concerns (in the Capitol) about the focus of our chief executive because she's taken a speaking engagement in Indiana for a 36-hour period with only 72 hours left in the legislative session," Ramras said.

Palin, who has barely left Alaska during the legislative session, is clearly irritated.

Sarah Palin: Levi/Bristol Would Shack Up "Over My Dead Body"
Huffington Post | April 11, 2009

Now, of course, the couple has split, their families are feuding, and Johnston has suggested he may sue for custody of their child.

The issue, featuring a mix-and-match cover, hit newstands Friday. Along with the Johnston story, it includes a list of 31 things a man should own and 66 men to emulate. (Levi isn't one of them.)

Apology

Issued Apology by MooPig 7:03 PM CST | 02.09.09

We at MooPig Enterprises, all 42,000 of us, who are now unemployed, apologize for misunderstanding on a large scale the so-called "Stimulus Plan..."

As we are set right tonight in this hour, by the first Barry Obama press conference... we now understand it is an "ECONOMIC Stimulus Plan"
Top PHOTO True : Bottom PHOTO False

All this first six weeks of the new year and new administration, we have thought Barry Obama was pushing an "ANATOMIC Stimulus Plan."

Any harm we have caused our patrons and worldwide constituents, we are sorry.

Post-Script: We want to just give a shout out to Prez B Obama for saying "PORK" five times tonight, and also when he said "SHAKY ASSETS" there was an air of forgiveness in the entire moopig distaff ranks...

I'm in my Fifties now, so I'm going to start suing

Someone just asked me Why is Gas only $1.47 per gallon?

by Pat Darnell

I replied that I think it has to do with futures and confidence in those futures. BrietBart Articles say that consumer lack confidence in the economy is causing demand for the gas to plummet. We are both correct in our viewpoints...

I think that futures are being tidied up by local companies. This causes futures to be a modest price and investors are gobbling it up. When we moved to Bryan\College Station an old-timer told me that when those "rocker arms" are rocking, gas prices are on the rise. When they are not rocking, prices are slipping downward.

It is a sort of business "reverse strategy" decision making arm of metaphorical misdirection -- like magicians do. So those rocker arms all along the boulevards have been rocking for the past three months, since just before the Obama-slide. Since December one, the rockers are motionless, about when price at the pump was lower than this time last year.

If you want the truth, *[and you are the likes of Tom Cruise who can handle the truth]*, MooPig would like you all to know two things: One -- Saudi Arabia controls about 8% of the USA economy. Two -- the Geo Bush enterprises controls a substantial portion of the oil industry in the USA. Make that three things: Three -- Geo W Bush holds hands with the Saudi Princes when he walks around Arabia.

So, why do you think the pump prices are so low now?

Oil tumbles below $40 for first time since 2004
By CHRIS KAHN | Dec 17 04:31 PM US/Eastern
AP Energy Writer | Brietbart Source

Crude prices have fallen so low, producers have leased supertankers to store the oil at sea, hoping that oil will rebound.

U.S. gasoline inventories continued to rise, the government reported, providing further evidence of a major pullback by American motorists.

Demand for gasoline over the four weeks ended Dec. 12 was 2.7 percent lower than a year earlier.

OPEC had already announced cuts totaling 2 million barrels earlier this year, also with little effect. The unprecedented production cuts and the market reaction show just how fast energy demand has fallen during the worst economic downturn in at least a generation.

Also Tuesday, the Federal Reserve cut its target for a key interest rate to the lowest level on record and pledged to use "all available tools" to combat a severe financial crisis and prolonged recession.

The central bank reduced the federal funds rate, the interest that banks charge each other, to a range of zero to 0.25 percent. That is down from the 1 percent target rate in effect since the last meeting in October.

Zappaesque, Staged Anarchy? No, just a time to Chill Out with Ponchos

An idea to do something very creative in support of Barack Obama, but requiring serious coordination, could have ended in total chaos, but instead turned into an incredible convergence of hundreds of Alaskan women in Anchorage, Alaska. Check out the results of this surprise event that was held on Saturday, October 25 based on an idea that was thought of just 6 days earlier!
