"There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound.."

I guess they [high school students] already finished their English homework!!!
Montebello High School in California
You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times, nor on the lead story of the major news networks.

The protestors at Montebello High School took the American flag off the school's flag pole and hung it upside down while putting up the Mexican flag over it. (*See pictures above*)
I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington .. The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail.

[Do you want to] Pass this along to every American citizen in your address books and to every representative in the state and federal government.. If you choose to remain uninvolved, do not be amazed when you no longer have a nation to call your own nor anything you have worked for left since it will be 'redistributed' to the activists while you are so peacefully staying out of the 'fray'.
Check history, it is full of nations/empires that disappeared when its citizens no longer held their core beliefs and values. One person CAN make a difference.
The battle for our secure borders and immigration laws that actually mean something, however, hasn't even begun.
If this ticks YOU off... PASS IT ON! IF IT DOESN'T IT SHOULD!
Thanks Claude D. Mathes!!

Dear Friends:
Shown here left is how I remember growing up. Maybe I'm still just too much of a Boy Scout, to understand the above display of dissension. Represented in the pictures, said to be in California, is 'how not to treat a flag' in any nation, unless perpetrators's want a war of somekind.
I wonder if I went to Mexico, do you think I could even find a flagpole? If I sauntered into the Yucatan, do you think anyone there even knows what the Mexican flag looks like? I speculate if I asked Ricky Martin or Miss Mexico what does it mean when the Mexican flag is posted upside down, they would answer 'la Paz mundial.'
Truth be known; everyone in the world recognizes the USA Flag: as the only country that can withstand abuse of dissenting outsiders and keep all its freedoms intact...
I'm not angry, just encouraged by visitors's further testing the USA way to freedom of speech, to vote, and demonstrate peacefully. These colors still don't run.
