"My Brudda,
It sounds as if the hawk was taunting him. These duffer-style millionaires really ruffle my feathers, too. Eh?
See what you kids think, DD"All four Soldiers on board were rescued from the helicopter by people of the 407th Air Expeditionary Group and 407th Expeditionary Medical Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Jeff Andrejcik)
Dear Brudda DD Back:
Is this what FreeBird means? Seems odd though because that particular golfer rarely gets any birdies on tour. I sure hope no one is hurt!!
Readers, see what you think, could one golf ball take down a 'Hawk? ...or is it a grassy knoll style conspiracy?

"...ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—Tripp Isenhour has never gotten this much attention for a single golf shot. Really, he’s never gotten this much attention, period.... 'his first interview since the news was disclosed that he killed the hawk Dec. 12.' (AP)

"...Isenhour said it was a “one-in-a-million” golf shot that killed a protected hawk and that he was only trying to scare the bird he now faces misdemeanor criminal charges for killing.
PGA Tour players didn’t seem too shaken.
“It’s a bad break for the bird, but it sounds like there are a lot of other things people should be worried about,” Mark Calcavecchia said.
That’s obviously people who don’t know very much about golf,” he said. “To say it’s a one-in-a-million shot for an accident like that to happen, you know, and when it did happen, I was very remorseful, very upset that it happened.” ..."
But film crew members who witnessed the killing saw it differently. ..."
“He was just going strangely out of the way to go after it,” said Jethro Senger, a sound engineer at the shoot. “And it was almost, the whole thing was basically like a joke to him. The balls were getting closer and closer...
‘Haha, look how close that one came.’
Wow; I feel safer now!

it's all fun and games untill a bird gets hurt. Then It's Hilarious!!!
I find this golfer's behavior juvenile , immature and utterly unjustifiable. Professional athletes need to try to act smart and grown-up, even if they aren't. The CHILDREN depend on them.
Sincerely,

ps - what if you put 2 golfers who just missed the cut in an enclosed area and gave 'em 9-irons. I'd take some action on that one!
Sorry we got all the Hawks confused!! It was a Hawk in December, with a golf ball, and a 2-wood, from the fairway, in Florida, by Mr Tr'Pibb'-ipp.
...Not a BlackHawk down in Iraq by a grenade, with no loss of life. MooPig Editors
