MILK; another MooPig Movie Review
MooPig Cinema Reviews Department has filed the following report:
"We waited till the DVD came out as we got our NetFlix mailer with our choice this week. We chose MILK since it is supposed to be a great Flik... and it is. We had to wait till the very end for Sean Penn, acting as Harvey Milk, to be shot three times in his chest, and once in the back of his head -- but it was worth it."
"We fast forwarded through all the homosexual love

"It would have been nice if Patrick Swayze had shown up in this film in drag," says one reviewer. "Or at least Robin Williams; it's too bad about both of them being under the weather and all, isn't it?"
Other than a regular plethora of Gay slogans written on placards with a host of thousands marching the streets of San Francisco, there is little plot that supports the Gay Rights push of that era, late 1960's to 1970's. Except for one special one-liner uttered early in the movie by Sean Penn's Harvey Milk, "politics is theater." This phrase sets the stage for many of us who are paying attention.
"Yes, and we are all players," says Schlomo Spitzer, Chief Movie Analyst, San Francisco branch, MooPig. Also, Harvey Walletbangor said, "Yes and if there is any actor alive who can milk a part in a movie... I have just witnessed the maestro of MILK doing it."

I enjoyed this review. It's the first thing I've seen that made me the slightest bit interested in seeing the movie.
The Movie Analysts of MooPig collectively say, "Glad you enjoyed it. Almost everyone else just pokes us in the forehead and calls us names."
Wow...now I actually know someone that saw the movie.
