MooPig "Fraud Busters" Department asks; "Just who is on Madoff's Rolodex?"
Could the victims be Who's Who in America, and around town in DC, Cuba, NYC and LA?
That would explain much foot dragging. Madoff's scheme was reported in 2000.
What peer could ever be juror in a trial of someone who swindled $65 billion? Would it not have to be some one who has swindled $66 billion? Not to point fingers, or imply any nepotism... but the richest person alive is B. Gates at $40 billion. What's a billion dollars amongst friends? Anyway?
If judged guilty and sentenced, the penalty is 150 years in prison. Bernie "Mad Dog" Madoff is 70 years old. So, we put a senior swindler in the tank for the golden retirement years with regular medical and dental care, regular viagra homosexual sex for the oldies, three squares a day, and state healthcare for all mental and physical problems arising in the waning autumn years?
