It's difficult to think of DOOM all day long. I was thinking of maybe taking DAY THREE off from blogging, give it a rest, think about constructive things. You know, maybe the torrents of Hell can wait.

Lots of friends and relatives are going about their regular lives, spending their days pretty much as usual. Births, deaths, and sickness, and weather, provides all the drama needed in daily walk about's.

But do I really want to miss a day in the count down to "who knows what" about to happen, or not happen, as in "hasn't it already happened" dozens of times before -- for millennia?

Heck, sure is quiet when you stop to think about flowers, icy, cold, mornings, and stars.

Meanwhile, the Media has slanted yet another doomed country, with obfuscation and "imaginative" journalism. It seems everyone is a loose cannon blogger these days. Here -- you read the story while I soak up some Little Feat ... okay?

Hey, band members, part of your problem today is getting paying people to your concerts... eh? Yes, it is common to most bands out there. So, you find these online evolver network storehouses who can "globally" rout out the people to your particular venue.

Say you have lined up a ballpark for your gala. You are in the business of setting up a fun night for any and all who brave the exclusivity of your bands performing... well maybe you will have a whack-a-mole, and displays of Gaian Matrices, as part of your festival! There apparently is a total smash up of evolving spore partners willing to show up and hawk your event.

If you can think it; then it must happen! Instantaneous people, all adoring your performance. Buuwahhhh!

The Gateway Grizzlies minor league team, known for their caloric foods -- bacon cheeseburger with donuts as buns, deep fried sliders, and the buffalo wing pretzel -- But now they're offering a burger filled with everything under the sun that tops out at almost 5000 calories.

For years, we've given the title of "Concession Item Of The Year" to the Gateway Grizzlies, whose executives seems to have a knack for coming up with the best idea year after year.

In 2006, it was a bacon cheeseburger with donuts as buns. [HERE -- The ballpark sandwich will include a hamburger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon -- all between a "bun" made of a sliced Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut.]

Then came the deep fried sliders.

Last year, it was the buffalo wing pretzel.

But the West Michigan Whitecaps have our eye this year with this — believed to be the single most caloric item ever offered at a ballpark. Here are the important details on this absolute gutbuster. It's called the Fifth Third Burger, named after the bank [FITB 2.38 0.25 (+11.74%) ] that sponsors the team's ballpark.

It's 5/3 lbs (1.66) of beef with lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, chili and Frito's on an eight-inch sesame seed bun. (Ben Hill's)

The team says it feeds one to four people and sells for $20, and if a person finishes the Fifth Third Burger in one sitting, the team will offer up a Fifth Third Burger T-shirt.

Mickey Graham, the team's director of marketing and media relations, told us that they came up with this burger because it's something fun that people can understand.

Graham added that he thinks it's possible that that the burger will be popular enough that people might show up to the ballpark, buy a ticket to get in, buy a burger and go home.

"We've had people come just for dinner," Graham said. "It actually happens pretty frequently. We take our food pretty seriously."

Pink Floyd had been touring for over a year doing the Dark Side of the Moon line-up of songs — although they hadn’t released the album yet. Everywhere they played, it seemed a bootleg of the concert was released. The album would be released on March, 24th 1973 — but at that time it was still somewhat of an unknown for many. The program called the concert “Eclipse - a Piece for Assorted Lunatics,” as it had been called for about a year of live shows. But it was song-for-song and word-for-word Dark Side of the Moon.

PF came out without much fanfare and proceeded to perform the entire album uninterrupted by breaks for applause. It was awesome. They just played it straight through. Back then they hadn’t developed the elaborate special effects such as remote-control planes, flying brass beds, mirror balls, laser-beams, larger-than-life projections and red eyed floating pigs. The effects were limited to carbon dioxide “smoke” illuminated by mostly pink and green floodlights. There was a large gong that they used for their encore numbers, but it broke loose from its mountings when struck and the roadies had to do a quick repair. It was worth the wait, as they played “Set the Controls for the Center of the Sun” and set fire to the kerosene-soaked rim of the gong. The flickering flames dwindling down as the long epoch song slowly ended seemed to weave a magic spell and draw everyone into the gong — as if it had become the sun.

Before the show, almost everyone made paper airplanes out of their program and sailed them around the Spectrum waiting for the concert to begin.
