MooPig Tech Coroner :: "the Workforce"

Attrition: Robots are Here to Stay
Retrieved by Pat Darnell | Jan 18, 2013 | Bryan TX

Historically, technology takes jobs, and, makes jobs for us. Some are thinking that technology today is outdistancing human performance at the jobsites; sorting robots, manufacturing robots, stock-trading robots.

It is puzzling, what is this interviewee selling? Is he a whistle blower or a lobbyist for robotics? We think he is trying to warn humanity that technology is going to over take it. Some may call that DOOM-SAYER -- we call it Attrition.
" ... The world is fundamentally changing; the economic assumptions that currently gird our society will be meaningless in as soon as a few decades. And we’d better get ready to prepare for that shift—if we don’t adjust the current socio-economic structure, we’re going to have mass joblessness, and society-wide chaos. We’re going to need to fundamentally reform not just our policies but our attitudes towards work. We’re going to need to re-engineer the social safety net from the ground up to account for the fact that robots are taking over on the labor front. (Brian Merchant. motherboard.vice.com | Posted: Jan 15, 2013. HERE) ... "
The winner in robotics development is Manufacturing and Distribution. Simple robots doing simple but necessary tasks; it is a remarkable scene. "What’s the point of building society around a 40-hour work week, after all, when robots are doing all the heavy lifting? (ibid.) "

MooPig's Let's Pick On ... "Rick Scott"

[Picture LINK]

Lowest Form of Humor Department
by Pat Darnell and the Herd  | Feb 4, 2012 | Bryan TX

MooPig's Lowest Form of Humor Picks Department preys on persons' looks. We are mesmerized by the images we run across online. Give us more images! But, it is truly the lowest form of humor to make fun of someone's looks. Eh?

That doesn't bother us. Today we have selected the governor of Florida, Rick Scott, who we think exemplifies the new, and future, "look" of politicians in the USA.

Big eye stare, haunting smile, fetish crazed jaundice, bald pate, skin stretched tightly over a skull, obsessive compulsorily confused... that is the LOOK!

Here are a few Examples:

All images are unretouched, that is , unretouched by human hands. Everything you see here is unreconstructed for your viewing delectation ...

MooPig thinks this "new and future look" is the look of zestful gloom, melancholy pain, sadness, sorrow, trouble, unhappiness, and worry.

Gig Contractor

He's a Gig Contractor
retrieved by Pat Darnell  | April 24, 2011  |  Bryan TX

"In the past 32 months we've been through brutal recession, uneasy recovery, and dramatic technology change. We must not 'Outsource' our responsibility."
-- However --
We could call this Turmoil and Transformation of a system that was started in order to free up the in-staff worker. It was in mind that the distaff would have the awesome tasks of seeing profits rise by outsourcing.
-- Because --
The days are gone for the various gig contractors "trying to make it all still happen with an Excel spreadsheet and a hodge-podge of partners you can call on in a pinch." The jig is up on the gig economy.

MooPig Considers Outsourcing its Blogging Operations Offshore

by Pat Darnell

MooPig had its Quarterly "Belly Up and Why" Company wide Meetings. Since the last quarter of 2007 when the Blogger Strike of '07 was in full throttle... what ?? you never heard of that?... Look it up! [Blogger Strike]

Well, our point is MooPig Enterprises has been in a steady no growth flat-line since the blogger walkout.

"If we had no blog at all, we would be in almost the same earnings category, as we are with MooPig Wisdom Blogspot.com," said CEO/FYOD Hermann Moonster.

"No More Blog: No More Blog..." became the chant from the shareholder at the meeting. One had to listen carefully to understand the slogan.

In a last ditch effort, MooPig has recently opened its blogosphere to 17 more topical blog sites. "We do this in hope that someone around here will understand that legs sell," said COO, Chief Operations Officer Levon Brasse.

"More Legs.... More Legs..." the chant changed from the floor.

A motion was presented and the vote was unanimous, 1 to 0, in favor of making a strategic study committee for the purpose of "Offshore Outsourcing" for the blog, "MooPig Wisdom."

"The only negative discussion came from the floor as to the cultural objections to Cows and Pigs in their societies, like India and Iraq where the better outsource outfits are," said MooPig's undersecretary of notes and minutes, Helen Waite. "Won't those chiefly Hindi and Muslim nations be adverse to signing in with the abomination of a pig stuck in a belly of a sacred bull?" came the frequently asked question.

MooPig Enterprise Chief Learning Officer, CLO, has been appointed initial duties to pursue the mandate. "I do not know any more than you, nor care to comment on any of the discussions from the company or shareholder meetings at this time," said Orville Knoblock, CLO.

Later in the lobby at the Barn, CLO Orville confided in MooPig editorial circles that he is in a pickle with Scientologists, as he is just now changing over to Latter Day Adventists after fifteen years with L. Ron Hubbard. He may take a leave of absence, as rumored, to get his swerve back. His groomed assistant, Orp Onob, is the most probable candidate to be burdened with offshore outsourcing potentials studies for MooPig Wisdom, -- while Orv is hiding out from Scientology's Recon. Orp is a Presbyterian.

In conclusion, MooPig has this list of high rewards initiatives proposed by the only learned consultants available at the meeting. Geraldine Fox and Nigel Hughes said: "Offshore-ing business operations offers the potential for cost savings of 15 percent, maybe 20 percent, but Compass Analysis show that organizations that properly plan and operate offshore initiatives can reap substantially higher rewards.
"

They offered this list of "mistakes organizations often make when implementing and managing offshore initiatives." They say it can be understood in context of seven deadly sins... and when they said that -- well, the whole MooPig Enterprise became alert; because if there is anything the MooPig People understand it is the "Seven Deadly Sins!"
