Hundreds of Cryptic Tiles on Several Continents

Someone has anonymously put tiles in the pavements of intersections in cities all over the USA and in other cities in South America. That's not all. It has been going on for "three decades." And there could be more undiscovered tiles around the world.
They are called the Toynbee Idea tiles. They went unnoticed until 1990's. Then as the Internet gained ground, pictures of the tiles surfaced on the Web.
The tiles say the same message in English " ... ‘Toynbee Idea in Movie 2001. Resurrect Dead on Planet Jupiter.’ ... " with side notes sometimes.
Now the subject of a movie, selected by Sundance 2011, how does an anonymous artist, the only truer artist, react to his or her Brand being exploited?
We may never know what the heck this is all about, but you can be sure Toynbee Idea is now a BRAND that many will not be able to live without. Just like the stone pictographs that our ancient ancestors left for us... this one will be the Brand of least recognition, or not!
