If you watch Television you notice that the shows that are one hour long are actually 44:13 minutes long. Commercials take over a quarter of the time to push the products. But even then TV directors push their own envelopes and present you with their version of the "cliff hanger" ending that will make you watch their show again and again.
As season 3 opens we will be entertained, or let down, as the characters become more developed. Depending a bit on the writing, and a bit on happy accidents, the shows directors might offer new information.
"Jenner told Rick that everyone is infected..." Wow, that makes me want to find out what that means!
