MooPig's Megalith News :: "Megalithomania Conference 2012"

Book Your Tour, Now, Here -- Bring packed lunch.
Review by Pat Darnell | Mar 4, 2012 | Bryan TX
[Picture LINK]

Ever since the movies 2001 :: A Space Odyssey, and, 2010modern folk have been re-looking at monoliths that are strikingly abundant around earthscapes. We are coming up with theories for ancient stone erections from man-made activity to include ET built discussions. On the minds of many today is "What were the Ancients up to?"

Many of the large stones that are placed in vertical uprightness are as heavy as loaded semi-trailer trucks. Blimey -- that is over fifty thousand pounds. And these stones are not on wheels.
"Experts" estimate that at least 1500 people were required to hew the 10- to 50-ton stone pillars from local quarries, move them from as far as maybe 25 miles away, work them, and erect them.
Megalith maniacs will be touring and learning about stones from antiquity this May, 2012. World's stone temples, for lack of better title, give rise to modern speculation all over the world. MooPig is adding this tour to its bucket list.

Megalithomania Conference:  EXCERPT  | " ... Megalithomania was founded by Hugh Newman, John Martineau and Gareth Mills in the winter of 2005. Inspired by the incredible research of numerous authors, the conference was created to become an open forum to debate the megalithic arts and sciences. The team felt that history books and colleges do not present the evidence that is being discovered today.

Revelations in the fields of archaeoastronomy, geomancy, mathematics, ley alignments, sacred geometry and other cutting-edge disciplines are helping rewrite our own history, but are often completely overlooked by the academic world.

Many people want to know where we came from and connect to our ancestors so we hope that this annual event can be part of that process. Here is a short history of the conference...." [Read Article HERE] ..."

Stonehenge was built as a dance arena for prehistoric raves, a university professor believes. (January 05, 2009. The Sun)... "
Dr. Rupert Till, who is also a part-time DJ, carried out experiments that he says showed the 5,000-year-old stone circle is ideal for listening to “trance” music.

But Till, an expert in sound technology at Huddersfield University in northern England, believes the stones have perfect acoustics for repetitive rhythms such as those used in some dance music.

Brain Industries :: Labeled, Desensitized, and Redirected -- Let's build a Megalith

Milestones [so-to-speak] of Brain-ology
Retrieval by Pat Darnell [article written in the spirit of Science Historian, James Burke, Circles, and Connections]

Who is smarter; Ancients or Us? Sometimes we, as a nation, act as if we never landed on the Moon. Consider these phrases as if they are two intermeshed halves of one sphere... spheres that we seek as a collective human group to touch, taste and smell; also fight about.
  • Othiseus lived in the days of Achilleus
  • ... The East is Mammon. The West follows money into a pen
  • In The West, all roads are fed through Rome
  • ... Masculinism = Honour Culture
  • Attila was the Scourge of the Goddess
  • ... The East has hated The West since before its Races were Self-Conscious
  • In America today, you can't even talk straight
  • ... Krauts are the real Scape-Goats
  • Selfishness during War is Treason
  • ... If you say it's too hard, you've only said you're too soft
  • Just because you can't beat them doesn't mean they can't be
  • ... A loyal son must exceed the deeds of his forefathers, for he already has their shoulders to stand on
  • Never say "if" to God
  • ... Cowardice and Treason is the lowest deed and highest crime
  • Every loser has a "special" sad story
  • ... A wise man knows he ain't worth two pricks
  • America demonstrates the effects of blindly letting women define masculinity
What does this list of axioms have to do with the rest of the article? Stick around a minute or two, read on, read on...
Yes we are rock harvesters, and students of stardust, and we will build our share of megaliths in our own solar system before it is all over.

[SOURCE] "Other megalithic structures such as these cromlechs (stone circles) and dolmens represent an even earlier stage of development of megalithic architecture, predating Stonehenge. Sites such as this are found in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Britain, Ireland and up into southern Scandinavia, showing that these structures belong to the native R1b genetic haplotype Celtic people who are indigenous to Western Europe and were its earliest inhabitants:"

Conclusion: No one of ancient ,or, of  modern times is smarter than the other. Our own brain is divided in two half-spheres that argue around each other incessantly. Can't my two brain halves just get along? Well, no they aren't supposed to. You see, it is why we are castaways in our own environment.

We could never have gone to the Moon if ancients from 10,000 years ago had not built Megaliths and used them to follow Moon patterns for 17 to 18 years. They did this for a particular moment when the Moon caresses a distant mount's profile that looks like a woman in repose... just once every generation. Talk about spectacle. That event used to bring out the major party-going crowds.

Later, at 250,000 miles away in the vacuum of space, Americans in 1969 navigated across a landscape of extreme conditions on the nearside of the Moon. Astronauts drove a Moon Rover across uncharted moonscapes.

Between the first example and second one: It turns out the United States would never have existed, while in a different pioneer enterprising effort, 359 years earlier than the moon landings, settlers mostly from England found a harsh life on the Eastern shores of North America.

Therefore, before astronauts' extra-terrestrial away miracle event occurred, around 1610, the first Americans led by Sir Walter Raleigh, and Colonist John Rolfe brought tobacco seeds from Trinidad. Rolfe mixed seeds with New World species and fostered tobacco industry that flourished. Unfortunately, Brit's had kidnapped Pocahontas and Rolfe married her to assure his crops reached fruition in the Indian lands.

American grown tobacco as a cash crip built fortunes that are today still being used to build better and faster space vehicles.

Could it have been seeds of observance from much earlier, about 8000 BC, sown by settlers of the Isles of Scotland. Ancients going about the industry of charting cyclic movement of yonder Moon, built their megalith of stones at Callanish, to track an eighteen year cycle of the moon's behavior.

Anything happen to your brain as you ponder these time\space fractals with me? Yes? That is Brain Industry...
