Who is smarter; Ancients or Us? Sometimes we, as a nation, act as if we never landed on the Moon. Consider these phrases as if they are two intermeshed halves of one sphere... spheres that we seek as a collective human group to touch, taste and smell; also fight about.
What does this list of axioms have to do with the rest of the article? Stick around a minute or two, read on, read on...

Yes we are rock harvesters, and students of stardust, and we will build our share of megaliths in our own solar system before it is all over.
[SOURCE] "Other megalithic structures such as these cromlechs (stone circles) and dolmens represent an even earlier stage of development of megalithic architecture, predating Stonehenge. Sites such as this are found in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Britain, Ireland and up into southern Scandinavia, showing that these structures belong to the native R1b genetic haplotype Celtic people who are indigenous to Western Europe and were its earliest inhabitants:"

Conclusion: No one of ancient ,or, of modern times is smarter than the other. Our own brain is divided in two half-spheres that argue around each other incessantly. Can't my two brain halves just get along? Well, no they aren't supposed to. You see, it is why we are castaways in our own environment.
We could never have gone to the Moon if ancients from 10,000 years ago had not built Megaliths and used them to follow Moon patterns for 17 to 18 years. They did this for a particular moment when the Moon caresses a distant mount's profile that looks like a woman in repose... just once every generation. Talk about spectacle. That event used to bring out the major party-going crowds.
Later, at 250,000 miles away in the vacuum of space, Americans in 1969 navigated across a landscape of extreme conditions on the nearside of the Moon. Astronauts drove a Moon Rover across uncharted moonscapes.
Between the first example and second one: It turns out the United States would never have existed, while in a different pioneer enterprising effort, 359 years earlier than the moon landings, settlers mostly from England found a harsh life on the Eastern shores of North America.
American grown tobacco as a cash crip built fortunes that are today still being used to build better and faster space vehicles.
Could it have been seeds of observance from much earlier, about 8000 BC, sown by settlers of the Isles of Scotland. Ancients going about the industry of charting cyclic movement of yonder Moon, built their megalith of stones at Callanish, to track an eighteen year cycle of the moon's behavior.
Anything happen to your brain as you ponder these time\space fractals with me? Yes? That is Brain Industry...
