This Space Age Technology could not keep me from it! I want to know what that atomizer does and how it does it. Apparently it uses a flint or a carbon filament to combine your juice with water vapor in the ambient air, with a slight electrical charge from the battery. When you suck, you get a tangible, palpable, lung full of a clean vapor that goes through your respiration parts, and out to disperse as vapor into the air, in only seconds. Wouldn't it be fun to find out that vaporizing actually cleans the lungs?! Eh?

What is the low down on regulations for e-cigarettes? We at MooPig e-Cigarette Department have known for a while that this will be an issue for a couple of reasons. One reason is that cigarette makers don't want the competition. Another reason spins off the notion that nicotine patches, and gums and other nicotine delivery systems are gateways to non-smokers becoming addicted to smoking. Conclusions are unscientific, we can observe that gums and patches have not been gateways. Also, e-cigarette vapor is not smoke, so it doesn't compete with smoking.

Richard Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the US, wrote a letter to NYC Council who recently fashioned regulations that includes e-cigarettes in NYC's smoking ban. Dr. Carmona, who is on the board of e-cigarette maker NJOY, voices concerns that banning e-cigarettes will "do tremendous harm to what is emerging as the most promising weapon yet in the fight against tobacco-related illness and death."

Those are pretty strong words for the NYC Council to put in their pipes and smoke... and besides "The American people do not want to be nannied." In a canvass HERE, "Poll: Americans Don’t Want to Ban Trans Fats, Energy Drinks, E-Cigarettes, Online Poker, Violent Video Games or Genetic Testing Kits:"

Reason Foundation - Out of Control Policy Blog and E-Cigarette Regulations Likely to Harm Anti-Smoking Efforts, Yet NYC Still Considers Ban: "In my latest Orange County Register column, I note that the wave of regulations local officials are enacting or proposing to restrict the sale or use of e-cigarettes is more likely to harm public health instead of benefit it, primarily by making it more difficult for smokers to transition to safer nicotine delivery alternatives, thus keeping them smoking longer. Here's an excerpt: The rationales for these regulatory actions vary, but often revolve around misplaced fears that e-cigarettes will serve as a gateway to the use of conventional cigarettes by kids and non-smokers, as well as misconception that e-cigarette vapor is as harmful as cigarette smoke to users and bystanders."

Most articles about e-cigarettes are still just advertisements to spread the word about a casual and effective way to cut back on smoking, and to actually quit smoking. Why would tobacco companies be advertising about e-cigarettes? They know that litigation in the past against smoking has cost them a fortune, and can no longer avoid their responsibility to warn people about the dangers of lung cancer, and other dread diseases, caused by smoking.

This typical disclosure usually follows all e-cigarette articles on the internet:

Cigar Chomping Rush Limbaugh, What He Said

On February 29, 2012 Limbaugh commented on Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke, who had testified before the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee in support of mandated health coverage for contraceptives. On his radio show, Limbaugh described Fluke as a "slut", "prostitute" and "round-heeled", while questioning whether her parents were proud of her for supporting the government's ruling that religiously affiliated institutions should provide health insurance plans that include contraception. (all this is from 'why Ikki peed ya')

Already facing criticism, he repeated his claims the following day and further suggested that Fluke, "and the rest of you feminazis," make a sex tape in exchange for contraceptive funding, along with offering to buy the women of Georgetown University "as much aspirin to put between their knees as they want.

The comments caused a continuing controversy for Limbaugh forming a public backlash, organized by social media, that pressured companies to stop advertising on his show. On March 3, 2012 Limbaugh reiterated his claims against Fluke and insurance coverage of contraception[152] before later apologizing, saying, "I chose the wrong words in my analogy ... I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke"[153], in response to criticism from across the political spectrum including the president.
