When Pigs cry, it is a desire to escape. Boredom, early weening, intensive systems of farrowing, and environmental overburden, having to live in North Carolina, and daily mortality are all reasons for Pigs' suffering, and reason enough for them to cry..
Viva!'s When Pigs Cry shows Viva!'s investigation of pig farms in the country's #2 'pork' producing state, North Carolina. Sick and diseased pigs are common. On a small farm in Georgia, mother pigs are kept in gestation and farrowing crates - banging their heads and frustrated by their inability to walk or even turn around.
Enter feral pig. I may barf loudly. But feral pigs are easily "harvested" since there is no kill limit to any feral pig group if it is a nuisance. Eat Pig, Eat Feral Young... just because I hunt them doesn't mean I don't love them...
AND that is about as EAT UP as it GETS !! Better Run Fast PIG!
