NEWS is cyclic, as cyclic as oleanders. NEWS has a repeating life cycle that after a while becomes nauseating. Like eating too much cake, NEWS can make one binge and purge. This writer, Robert Sobel of the Orlando Liberal Examiner finds these 50 NEWS outlets to be the worst sources for today's information.

"HAWT" is OAWT -- "HUGE" is what we say now !!

Kathy Griffin was out shopping with Paris Hilton, when she mistakenly called a sequenced black gown "HAWT." Paris suddenly got expositor-icular and said "Do not say Hawt anymore, ever... it's HUGE... not Hawt... HUGE.. say HUGE."

"Okay... Okay," said Kathy Griffin who was trying to be an A-Lister for a day and actually out-spend Paris Hilton at the boutiques. When Kathy was checking out the cashier said: "That will be $14,250 for you Katy... and $12,500 for you Paris."

Kathy glanced over her shoulder, and stretched her face into a lip drop, and a few other comical mannerisms.. and said to the Cashier: "My name is Kathy -- Kathy Griffin.... I just thought you might read it off the credit card I just gave you for $14,000 of merchandise !!"

In her video journal afterwards she confided that she was almost in the A-Listings, up until when the cashier called her Katy. It turns out, Ms Griffin's goal of out-spending Paris Hilton had been achieved, but the two had only been to one boutique. "Drat."

Still a D-Lister, Kathy Griffin still bills her standup act that way: we don't know what to make of it all, Kathy.
