Qaddafi's Green Book, Lucky Us

Qaddafi wrote a three part book with green covers back sometime ago. I have looked at it online and have decided it looks a bit like a young man with urgency to emerge in his age of reason, but limited to just his own reasons for things. For instance; Qaddafi has this theory, "THE SOCIAL BASIS OF THE THIRD UNIVERSAL THEORY
" ... The national factor, the social bond, works automatically to impel a nation towards survival, in the same way that the gravity of an object works to keep it as one mass surrounding its centre. The dissolution and dispersion of atoms in an atomic bomb are the result of the explosion of the nucleus, which is the focus of gravitation for the particles around it. When the factor of unity in those component systems is destroyed and gravity is lost, every atom is separately dispersed. This is the nature of matter. It is an established natural law. To disregard it or to go against it is damaging to life."
" ... Similarly, man's life is damaged when he begins to disregard nationalism - the social factor - for it is the gravity of the group, the secret of its survival. Only the religious factor is a rival to the social factor in influencing the unity of a group. The religious factor may divide the national group or unite groups with different nationalisms; however, the social factor will eventually triumph. This has been the case throughout the ages. Historically, each nation had a religion. This was harmonious. Eventually, however, differences arose which became a genuine cause of conflict and instability in the lives of people throughout the ages. (SOURCE) ... "
On the Subject: Women
" ... All societies today look upon women as little more than commodities. The East regards her as a commodity to be bought and sold, while the West does not recognize her femininity. (ibid.) ..."
On Ignorance:
" ... Ignorance will come to an end when everything is presented as it actually is and when knowledge about everything is available to each person in the manner that suits him or her."
On Language:
" ... Mankind is still backward because humans do not communicate in one inherited common language. It is only a matter of time before mankind, achieves that goal, unless civilization should relapse."
On Income:
Income is an imperative need for man. In a socialist society, it should not be in the form of wages from any source or charity from any one. In this society, there are no wage-earners, but only partners. One's income is a private matter and should either be managed privately to meet one's needs or be a share from a production process of which one is an essential component. It should not be a wage in return for production.
EXAMPLES OF WAGE-LABOUR: FOR THE SOCIETY, FOR PRIVATE ENTERPRISE, AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT:
" ... The industrious and skilful in a society have no right, as a result of this advantage, to take from the shares of others. They can use their talents to satisfy their own needs and save from those needs. Like any other member of the society, the aged and the mentally and physically disabled should have their fair share of the wealth of the society."
...
" ... The aim of the socialist society is the happiness of the human being, which cannot be attained except by the establishment of one's material, and spiritual freedom. The achievement of freedom depends on the private and sacred attainment of man's needs. One's needs should not be under the domination of others and should not be subject to plunder by any source in society, otherwise one will live in insecurity. Deprivation of the means of fulfilment compromises freedom because, in attempting to satisfy basic needs, one would be subject to the interference of outside forces in one's basic interests."

*
If you read up to here and managed to stay awake, then God bless you. If I tried to make a comment to this insipid pile of shit, I might say something like: "WTF, for the love of GOD how did you become dictator of anything? Whadda a moron you are Gaddafi! I hope they bury you alive in a pile of your own green books... !"

Thank you, and good morrow.

Funeral Surreal ?!

Protest at a Funeral: isn't that bit ... Queer?
by Pat Darnell

Today, October 6, 2010, we are asked, as a people, to make up our minds about freedom of speech, as it will be arbitrated by our Supreme Judge arbiters. Blimey!! Not again: you say. We hear you.

Well, yes, it is another era of protesting -- sometimes called 'Civil Disobedience' -- and it is being done by some folks this time who are of the Baptist persuasion. Let's see if MooPig Tale of the Tape Department can sort this out a bit.

Weighing in on the one hand is the father of a slain Marine, who wanted to peacefully lay his son's body to rest as is the custom in the United States. His name is Albert Snyder and his son is " ...his only son, Lance Corporal Matthew Snyder, who died in Iraq’s Anbar Province in 2006."

Mr Snyder has tested the First Amendment of the US Constitution, and sued the protesters for $10.9 million and won. But his favorable judgment was over turned  in an appeal at the "federal appeals court in Richmond, Virginia."
"... [V]erdict against the pastor, Fred W. Phelps Sr., and his church, for intentional infliction of emotional distress, which required proof of outrageous conduct, and for invasion of privacy. But a federal appeals court overturned the verdict on First Amendment grounds.
On the other end of this argument is the ... " ... lawyer on the other side, Margie J. Phelps, [who] said the First Amendment protected the protest, where seven pickets at some distance from the [Snyders'] funeral carried signs with messages like “Thank God for dead soldiers” and “God hates you.”

Here is an interesting fact pointed out by the NYTimes: " ... Ms. Phelps is a daughter of the pastor of the church, Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan. Her argument alternated between smooth exposition of First Amendment doctrine and support for the church’s message. [SOURCE] ..."

"We want to give the rancorous protesting Baptist Minister some street credit for having his daughter grow up to be a lawyer and to be able to represent him in the Supreme Court," said Mel B. Toast, MooPig's Tale of the Tape Editor.

From the ensuing think tank of MooPig's Tale of the Tape iron man round table this is the bullet check list that has evolved:
  • What happened in that other small church Koran burning thingy?
  • Protesting at a funeral seems like a moot point; I mean the guy is dead, after all
  • Who was supposed to go get the sandwiches at Mo's on Ohio St?
  • [Suddenly, a lot of coins were passed amongst our think tank guys and gals as they settled up on their fantasy football clutches ...]
  • Eventually, someone brought up: " ...Abigail Phelps, another of Mr. Phelps’s daughters, carried a sign that said “America is doomed.”
  • a fight broke out when Slim Jim quoted the plaintiff's lawyer: "Mr. Summers said private grief raised different issues. ... "
  • “Why aren’t the members of the families of the deceased a captive audience at the funeral?” Alito asked.
  • Everyone looked dumbfounded as they pondered: "Who the devil is Alito?"
As the afternoon melted away into the cool of the evening, we heard many of the old standards being tossed about. Hustler versus Reverend Jerry Falwell was one of the token case comparisons, but that is moot too.

"Reverend Jerry Falwell, was a Christian evangelical fundamentalist Baptist pastor, televangelist, and a conservative ... died of natural causes in 2007. Eh?" said Dean Rucker, resident Brahman Priest at MooPig Enterprises. "I cannot see where that old case has anything to add, since the Reverend is passed on after a long rewarding life: unlike our Marine who was killed in a war in the prime of his youth. Seems rather poor taste, and kind of queer."

Then we heard some snapple crackle popping " ...as the Supreme Court grappled with the limits of the Constitution’s free-speech guarantee, debating whether it protects protesters who go to military funerals to proclaim that God is punishing the country by killing soldiers.; ..." Then we got some real poop on the defendants:
Fred W. Phelps Sr., is the head of the 70-member Westboro Baptist Church, a congregation made up mostly of his relatives. Phelps and his followers have traveled to hundreds of military funerals to proclaim that God is angry over the country’s acceptance of homosexuality, bearing signs that say, “Thank God for Dead Soldiers,” “Pope in hell,” “God Hates the USA” and “Fag troops.” [SOURCE]

SNYDER VS PHELPS Supreme Court Case # 09-751

SNYDER: Among those backing Snyder are 42 U.S. senators, led by Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

PHELPS: The American Civil Liberties Union and 21 news organizations including Bloomberg LP, the parent of Bloomberg News, are urging rejection of the award.

PHELPS: The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press including The New York Times Company, filed a brief supporting the Kansas church. It said the First Amendment protects even hateful speech on matters of public concern.

SNYDER: -- [Snyder's reward was reduced and then overturned on appeal, with a decision upholding the Westboro group's right to free speech. Additionally, a 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judge last week ordered Snyder to pay $16,510.80 of the Westboro Baptist Church's almost $100,000 in legal fees.] --
Bill O'Reilly  |  April\2006  | "I will pay Mr. Snyder's obligation. I'm not going to let this injustice stand," O'Reilly said Wednesday on his show, "The O'Reilly Factor." "It's obvious those cranks at Westboro were intentionally trying to hurt Mr. Snyder and his family."

So, with Bill O'Reilly in your corner, Mr Snyder, take our unfettered congratulations before you even enter the ring. MooPig has a good feeling that this case will end in your favor. Thank you very musssh!

Specification for Freedom: B*L*O*G

GI -- GS -- GO :: "It reflects the personal empowerment aspect while masking something just as critical: mutual support and empowerment of a community..." Chris Ruen

Retrievals and Opinions by Pat Darnell and Spartans

B -- Bitter-Sweet
*
L -- Loquacious
*
O -- Over-The-Top
*
G -- Garbled Garbage in \ Garbage Stored \ Gelatinous Garbage out

Brazos Valley Records Storage is next door to Brazos Valley Waste Receptacle. It ocurred to me that the old term "GIGO, Garbage In \ Garbage Out," is missing something important: "GS, or, Garbage Stored..." right?

Absoposilutely Right. Garbage stored has a shelf life: GS has a surcharge: GS may have bearing on tomorrow's misadventures in computing... right?

You bet your sweet bippies, it does have enormous bearing on infra-structure of IT; just what it might be, well we don't know either... we just sense it. Here at MooPig IT School of Spamology and Scatology, we are someday going to probably research the possibility of "just what effect Garbage Stored has on an already burdened future."

Another example of MooPig Staff looking out for the Common Good. Thank you for your patronage. [ed]

"DIY culture is one of the more beautiful ideas to spawn from the artistic world. It’s an attempt at Direct Democracy, compensating for lack of resources, empowerment for honest and organic ideas and creations. It’s about artists/people getting a fair shake and pursuing personally meaningful ends. The “indie rock” scene has certainly seen itself in the context of that folk-garage-punk-DIY tradition. But the title, “Do-It-Yourself,” is insufficient. It reflects the personal empowerment aspect while masking something just as critical: mutual support and empowerment of a community. (RUEN, Chris. Crunk President [Part One of Forty-two] :: Buzzwords and TLA's

Defiant or just Defiled?
Retrieved HEREby Pat Darnell with Barry O and the Knuckle-Benders

Someone once said:

...I'll never forget in high school, when a friend of mine proudly proclaimed he had started a new job. "I'm a fuel transference technician", he boasted. "What is that?" everyone asked with a puzzled expression. "I pump gas." Amazingly, our daily lives as architects and developers are riddled with similar technology colloquialisms. (SOURCE)"

Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo, Barry, is it Really, Really True?
:: War of the CEO's :::: Or, Cecadas climbing out of the ground Three Years Early :::: Or, CEO beat down all the way back to Jewelry Pawn Broker :::: Attritional Nightmares ::

Introduction of Part ONE -- This quoted article below, retrieved in its entireity, sets the mood for MooPig's urgent vivesectioning today's coporate businesses... climate changes within micro management is on hold while the C-classes hash out their compensations... or caps on incomes. Unless MooPig is reading signs wrongly, signs like crying, whining and diving into the Hudson, -- the top CEO knuckleheads of knuckle inbred industries are knuckling down and running with scarred knuckles dragging the ground.

It is unconfirmed at this hour, but could very well be true, Corporate Exec's are running the Bulls, only the bulls today are Bears; Shareholders are giving exiting top Management and entering Straw Men knuckle-sandwiches. Besides, we didn't know all this was going on; so maybe you don't either... so let us take a white knuckles ride together and learn something about our Crunk Prezident Barry. [pd]

Getting along with people sometimes requires speaking their language, especially in the workplace. One of the ways employees try to emphasize their smartness is with specialized vocabulary.

Due to the nature of a lot of people's work, technical language and terminology is often necessary, but buzzwords can make you sound pretentious. On the other hand, if you are working on a team full of buzzword-addicted co-workers, you'll need to fit in. Learning and properly using the latest buzzwords and TLAs ( three-letter abbreviations) can help you create high-bandwidth communication with your colleagues.

Here are 12 of today's hottest quasi-serious workplace phrases:

Boil the ocean
Definition: The scope is too big to do in one project. Break it up into more than one. We often hear, "We're not trying to boil the ocean here..." when the client is trying to keep costs down and avoid an overly ambitious project scope.

Drink the Kool-Aid
Definition: To enthusiastically perform a task or follow a leader without knowing how this may affect you or to buy the "company line" without question. In business, you may hear someone say, "He drank the Kool-Aid," when he means, "He has been thoroughly trained in the program and we have his unconditional support," or "He is on board with our strategy."

In political commentary, it is used to imply that people who disagree with you have been brainwashed or are under the influence of drugs.

Going native
Definition: This is what happens when a consultant stops acting like a consultant and starts thinking he is part of the client organization. If you aren't willing to go somewhere else, go ahead and apply for a permanent job.

You aren't providing the same value you were in the beginning.

Greenfield instance
Definition: Clean, new installation of an application without customizations, configuration or data. When a brand-new application is installed, it is a "greenfield instance" until the consultants and programmers go in and start messing it up with configurations and code changes.

Holistic
Definition: A big-picture view or a solution that includes upstream and downstream impacts. Whatever it means, it's a great consulting word and we use it a lot.

Paradigm
Definition: The perspective or view you have of a situation. For example, "When ownership of our order fulfillment project moved from operations to sales, it caused a paradigm shift that resulted in a whole new project strategy and approach."

Running in parallel
Definition: Processing normal operating data through two systems simultaneously to compare performance and output. When a client is feeling particularly paranoid about a new system that his consultants have developed or implemented, even after exhaustive testing and training, we will sometimes recommend running the new system in parallel with the old for a short period.

Straw man
Definition: First draft of a solution or proposal intended to provoke discussion. It is an object, document, person or argument that temporarily stands in for and is intended to be "knocked down" by something more substantial.

Talking to the dog
Definition: Thinking it through by talking it through out loud. You'll often hear engineers and programmers say that they finally solved a problem by talking to the dog.

Use case
Definition: A particular circumstance or situation in which the solution would be used. For example, when designing a system, the engineer will refer to all the use cases that have been documented to determine if his solution would be effective in each situation.

White paper
Definition: An authoritative report or guide published to share technical or business information, particularly related to solving common problems. Writing white papers is a great way for consultants to get exposure in their industry and develop a reputation for expertise.

Wireframe
Definition: Simple pictures that show a proposed user interface, often used by business analysts to communicate expectations to users and developers.

Anyone have a clue about this POLITICS entry?
Retrieved by Pat Darnell
COLUMBUS, OH—With its membership swelling in recent months, the mysterious organization that secretly pulls the levers of American power was forced to suspend its weekly meeting Monday, having grown too big to fit inside Marriott Conference Room B. "To successfully carry out our clandestine operations and continue maintaining the ignorance of the masses, we will now require the full amenities of Conference Room A," said an unidentified man, who is believed to have covertly orchestrated the economic collapse of Iceland last year. "We must postpone the Cataclysmic Event until such time as a more comfortable meeting space is available." According to confidential records, the hidden regime's enrollment has more than doubled since it gained free access to the Marriott's swimming pool and gym facilities.

Nation Ready To Be Lied To About Economy Again
May 4, 2009 | [SOURCE]

According to a CBS News/New York Times poll, 98 percent of Americans no longer appreciate President Barack Obama's attempts to break down the economic crisis into simple terms they can understand. Instead, many say the president should have the decency to insult their intelligence by using complex jargon to confuse and deceive them, perhaps even implying that the subprime mortgage fallout was just a big misunderstanding that resulted from a clerical error.

"I know when he's telling the truth, and it bothers me," recently laid-off schoolteacher Mary Hanover said of Obama. "He gets this serious expression on his face and says things like, 'This is the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.' Who needs to hear that? For Christ's sake, smile a bit and say we just found a diamond mine under Montana that's going to pay for everything. I'll believe you."

"Please, treat me like a child. Treat me like a five-year-old," Sacramento resident David Cooke, 64, wrote in a letter to Congress. "I lost everything when the Dow tanked, and I'm too old to start working again, so why punish me further by explaining in detail the clever ways these investment firms ripped me off and how they're all going to get away with it?"

Thus far, many policymakers in Washington have responded favorably to their constituents' requests, saying they respect and understand the public's need for dishonesty.

"I think we can accommodate the American people on this," Senate majority leader Harry Reid (D-NV) told reporters. "Why, just today we made excellent progress with GM, whose CEO Fritz Henderson told us that every penny of federal and taxpayer funds would go directly to the construction of three new auto plants in Detroit that will create over 90,000 new jobs and spark the economic rebound we've been waiting for."

Continued Reid, "Things are looking very, very bright."

MooPig Music Dept asks: "How do they get paid?"

Music is not just Performance Art anymore
by Pat Darnell and the Saxon Northumbrians

It seems our Darnell genealogical Scandinavian sub-line from our great-great-great Granny Priess has evolved into dismal-ology...

http://www.lifelounge.com/True-Norwegian-Black-Metal-by-Peter-Beste.aspx

Study this page of Norwegian black MEtal and you will see what is a symptom of socialized medicine, and basically nothing else better to do.

Then again, it turns out, "...In the early to mid 90s it's reported that particular members of this subculture completely lost their shit and went on a rampage of desecrating graveyards, burning down churches and even committing murder... definitely not the type of dudes you'd want your daughter/sister/friend bringing home to meet the family. Fascinating to look at in a National geographic kind of way though don't you think...?"
[Photographer Peter Beste has spent the last 7 years photographing this dark world and its inhabitants...]

As usual with genealogies and loads of skulls paving their footpaths... After succession, bands of this genre jump around a bit, until we get a couple of major uncertainties.

For instance: Harald IV may not really have been a son of Magnus III. And then Sverre almost certainly was not a son of Sigurd II, but he claimed to be.

You can imagine what that leads to -- probably just a convenient pretext upon which a usurper could fight for the Throne: and since his fight was successful, subsequent aphoristic bands of Norway were descended from them.

After all, this, as above, the genealogy of terse and principled metal bands of Norway is a continuance of Kings of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
