RE: The Death of Cable
Dear Investor,

When I wake up tomorrow morning, I won't have cable TV.

Because I'm cancelling my service! And joining 3 million Americans who've already cut the cord.

(If you LOVE television, but HATE hidden fees, bad customer service, and monopoly pricing, you can too.)

But more importantly, I'm buying the 3 stocks that are poised to explode when this faltering $2.2 trillion industry finally bites the dust.

Just like newspaper publishers, telephone utilities, stockbrokers, record companies, bookstores, travel agencies, and big box retailers did when the Internet swept away their business models.

Making investors who saw the writing on the wall RICH beyond their wildest dreams.

One simple strategy brought them 613%... 1,541%... even 2,486% gains. And you can take advantage of it TODAY, for what may be the last time.

See, we're about to enter a new golden age of television. But the winners won't be who you think

P.S. When the rest of America's 300 million households cut the cord — all signs are pointing to 2014 — everyone and their mother will claim they saw it coming. They'll say they knew all about Google's experimental project in Kansas City. They'll say as soon as they heard Apple's shocking post-holiday announcement, they knew for sure.

And they'll be lying... but that's okay. Because you'll be the quiet one, with the big smile on your face. And the HUGE balance in your portfolio. CLICK HERE to learn the best strategy for investing in "Television 2.0"!

MooPig Site Review :: "ALEX JONES vs PIERS MORGAN"

Democide
Captured by Pat Darnell | Jan 9, 2013 | Bryan TX
[Picture LINK]

I just listened to Alex Jones being "interviewed" by Piers Morgan ... more of a tongue lashing of the host. Piers Morgan did not get a word in edgewise, as Alex Jones berated Morgan, his show, and his lineage.

A comment from the youTube site HERE ...
LookIntoHistory [1 hour ago] Why couldn't Alex debate him properly, yes Piers is an idiot and a propaganda-er prince but Alex armed with all his facts (and they are all correct) has just made Piers look like the smart guy by not being able to hold a conversation....sigh
But, during the interview, Alex Jones did give us a new term to Google, "Democide," which we did and found this:

» Democide: Government Killed Over 260 Million in the 20th Century, Poised to Kill Billions More in the 21st Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!: " ... Through this important documentary, you will understand how history’s mega-killers are now poised to kill not millions but billions in a new age of dominance under world government. The elite psychopathic rulers, along with their technocratic Renfield minions, are pursuing a transhumanist vision where they seek to become gods while the masses of humanity are sacrificed in the name of saving the earth, all while risking our very planet in their destructive experimentation." (Mac Slavo. HTFplan.com March 17, 2012. ) ... "

'via Blog this'

Introducing Alex Jones who introduced MooPig to Democide:
  • Genocide: among other things, the killing of people by a government because of their indelible group membership (race, ethnicity, religion, language).
  • Politicide: the murder of any person or people by a government because of their politics or for political purposes.
  • Mass Murder: the indiscriminate killing of any person or people by a government.
  • Democide: The murder of any person or people by a government, including genocide, politicide, and mass murder.

MooPig Report from the Middle :: "TV Trends"

Meet Your New TV
by Pat Darnell | Dec 15, 2012 | Bryan TX

Cutting the Cable: Pay TV Subscribers Turn to Internet - ArkansasBusiness.com: "Between 2008 and 2011, an estimated 2.65 million people, or 2.6 percent of U.S. pay TV subscribers, cut their TV subscriptions to rely solely on online content or watch broadcast television with the use of an antenna, according to an April report from the Convergence Consulting Group Ltd. of Toronto, which studies the trend. Of that number, 1.05 million did it in 2011, and it is projected that by the end of this year the number of cord cutters will reach 3.58 million, the study said."

'via Blog this'

In three years, 2.6% of US TV end users cut off their Cables. That means in 2098 no one will be connected to Cable TV. I think Cable will become something else before that happens. With Netflix, Hulu, and dozens of other streaming companies, Cable will just be replaced with these. It is already happening... duh?

Technology companies like Apple, and Micro soft have consoles that satisfy all your streaming TV needs. For instance Microsoft makes the XBOX360 console that can be made wireless, and movement synchronous, so you login, and wave your hands, and up pops your programs on Hulu or Netflix, YouTube or Blockbuster...

So middle America can now dance with Rocky and CeCe on Shake it Up! while making dinner. Or you can watch all the YouTube presentations of recent UFO activity on UFOTV, on YouTube.

Cutting the cable, one "doesn't regret the decision, even though some TV shows aren't available, such as the ones involving the Kardashian clan or sporting events. (Mark Friedman. Posted 7/16/2012. LINK)"

Much of the middle society will witness the death of television as we know it on Aug 29th, 2045. Why that date? I just made it up, because that day I will be 90 years and two months old. HA!

So in our lifetimes we will not see that much happen that isn't happening today. Tech companies have become more careful about releasing the next big thing quickly as it comes available. That is why there hasn't been an upgrade from XBOX-360 to say the XBOX-terabyte, like one would expect happening by now.

Essentially, corporations would go bankrupt if they introduced new tech just as their older tech stuff was peaking globally. You will have to depend on tech elite to bring you the bigger better consoles as we move into Techno-barbaric Climate Change Age. We have exhausted the term Post-Modernism... so we come up with a new name for today.

That's our Report from the Middle -- where the men are good looking, the women are strong, and the children are above average.

Indentured Slavery

The other day there was an infomercial guy who I have seen on the TV for several years now. As I surfed through, I heard him say" 'Indentured Slavery.' That got my attention.

What is it? I have a few ideas about it. His spin on it is that the common debt that most lively couples find themselves in is a form of indentured slavery in America. I think he tied that claim with rumor that USA debt is being bought up by EU Europe, England, and China.. also; but he did not mention Debtors Prison, thank God and all his Saints.

His method for $39.95 would of course remove that burden from our shoulders. As I remember this never aging speaker, with his ever younger panel of ageless females, offered the same package in 1999 for $399.95... not a bad discount.. eh?

This is an open question to any reader willing to step up and explain this topic; are we really a nation of indentured slaves?

And for today's Confusing PHOTO Quiz: Do you know who this elderly person in photo to the right is supposed to be?

Answer: Correct Answer -- in Google time 0.0089 seconds....

Prez-dental De Bats, SurveyUSA and You

UFC: Ultimate Flagellating Campaigns, by Pat Darnell

The first general election presidential debate was held on September 26, 1960, between U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy, the Democratic nominee, and Vice President Richard Nixon, the Republican nominee, in Chicago at the studios of CBS' WBBM-TV. See the picture in MooPig Header this week. That debate is well documented everywhere.

Had there been a reliable instant survey system in 1960 like there is today it would have been like this map:
of course one has to reverse the colors for Party control. JFK was an overnight rock star...
Winning this debate has its drawbacks; MooPig will take you through the reason for not winning this talkie.

[Note: Debate on Sep 26, 1960 plus November 22, 1963: That's only 35 months before JFK was assassinated in Machiavellian context.]

This is what SurveyUSA says abou titself:
"...an independent, non-partisan, full-service opinion research firm that conducts scientific research for media, government, and private-sector clients. By many measures, SurveyUSA is the nation’s largest public opinion polling firm. As of 2002, 19 of the nation’s then 25 largest media companies had contracted with SurveyUSA to conduct opinion research.

SurveyUSA wrote software from 1990 to 1992 to make it possible for local TV news stations and others to order true random-sample research, of any geography, on a topic of local, national or international interest, at a moment’s notice, and, when methodologically appropriate, get back results the same day, in time for that night’s news deadline.

Prior to SurveyUSA, opinion research was slow and expensive, and only TV networks and the largest newspapers could afford to undertake them. SurveyUSA reduced the turnaround time and cost by an order of magnitude, without a sacrifice in quality.

SurveyUSA has published this map afterwards and now we have the Oedipus Effect...

A question comes to the frontal lobe of MooPig Editors: "Why again do we have a two party system government?"

This last map looks like a "good water versus bad water" map of the USA.

MooPig ran its own "fifty states" qualitative survey [not really] and came up with a more "descriptive" survey map of
the whole world.

We then slyly included this little agrarian area of Italy, and they said: "Obama -- that's the Dego in Charge?"

So they all voted for McCain.

After all this exhaustive Surveying, MooPig has a final conclusive statement: "Whoever wins the Televised Prez-dental DeBate will die in an obvious Mobster-like Hit within 36 months after the debate.."

Recording a single is Advantageous in many ways

Singles or albums? This is the question we have pursed on our lips today.

If there had never been singles, we would have been deprived of this:

"The Searchers were arguably the greatest of the 'other' Liverpool groups. They produced a string of singles which compared in quality to the Beatles but possibly lacked the scale of originality and inventiveness peculiar to their famous rivals. This is Writers's probable reason for Guild Strikes; Who's gonna Pay?

In the news this week has been questions of "how long can the networks continue running repeats of Xena: Warrior Princess and I Love Lucy?" My favorite -- the History Channel -- hasn't had any new programs on for months. SciFi is looking more like if-sic, and so on. What do the Writers's Guild want? Who you gonna' call?

Looking for a pay raise has its moments. Why they strike is because they cannot get paid residuals according to the new technology that looms on the horizons. Bah, Humbug you say.
That is why MooPig opens up a big can of:

INSTANT TV

The convergence of electronic entertainment devices such as TV's, DVD players, and stereos with personal computers is finally starting to happen.

Purpose-built computers with direct support from Microsoft in the form of Windows XP Media Center Edition are available now. Even better news for the do-it-yourselfer is the availability of devices and software to create your own Home Theater PC (HTPC). Building a low budget HTPC was on my list of summer projects and this effort was greatly facilitated by the arrival of ADS Tech's "Instant TV" USB 2.0 TV Tuner.

Instant TV is an external USB 2.0 device that features a TV tuner and the capabilities of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). In addition to watching television on a computer monitor (or television using TV-Out, the Instant TV can record to a hard drive, directly to a CD or DVD disc in VCD, SVCD, or DVD format, and perform Time-Shift recording functions.
Installing it
Installation is very simple, as one would hope with an external USB product. The product box and provided documentation very clearly state that Windows XP and USB 2.0 are required. XP is necessary to write directly to CD/DVD media and USB 2.0 is required for the throughput of the audio and video stream.

The software is installed before the hardware and includes an audio and video driver. Please note that they have been updated since the product release and can be downloaded from ADS Tech. The installer checks for Windows XP Service Pack 1 and if it is not found it will install Microsoft's USB 2.0 drivers.

The tuner can be plugged into a USB 2.0 port once the drivers are installed. The tuner requires a coaxial cable connection, but not a separate power source. Unfortunately, removing the tuner also means reinstalling the driver software. You don't have to use the installation CD each time, but you will have to click on numerous dialog boxes while the audio and video drivers reinstall. This isn't a crippling problem, but it is rather irritating... Poor us. MooPig Note: this unit is available at some WalMarts for under $100 including tax, if not available online. >pd
