Forbes says So.....
Re-directed Articles by Pat Darnell | July 25, 2015 | Bryan TX

High heat index's did not exist in the 20th century. We just knew how high the heat was by how much water was dripping out of the window air-conditioning units in our houses; or if you felt dizzy after wrestling, or playing kill the man with the ball at the park. Thankfully, water fountains were everywhere in those days. Fifty birthdays later I run into this article:
New Analysis Shows Earth Is Warming Faster Than We Thought - Forbes: "Politicians may dither and talking heads bloviate, but the scientific consensus is clear: climate change is real, humans are responsible, and its effects are already being felt around the world. At the same time, some details are in question, including how fast climate change is increasing and which specific effects we see are due to it as opposed to other sources."

Apparently, the ability to carry on a conversation about our heating up earth today requires first one's ability to digest hundreds of thousands of pages on the subject. As far as we can tell, no one was counting on this phenomena to happen. No King or Queen, or Stock Broker, or Fisherman, nor a Fish Monger's Wife, had any notion of the impending saturation of evidence giving cause for our Globe's Heating Up. Simple facts are buried in too much information by too many different angles. We need Walter Cronkite to come on TV and say: "Our global environment is heating up."
Although Al Gore said it, still no one is taking the helm like old Walter might have.
Forbes summarizes, I agree, and the nitty gritty truth risen global temperatures means is, that widows and orphans of the world will die first. Weak and infirm, elderly, and sick will also find no comfort. I am certain that this is the living Earth's method for getting back on track.

MooPig Re-Direct Department :: "Can humans regrow fingers?"
Did you ever Ask the Doctor ...
Mashed martial Articles by Pat Darnell | Oct 5, 2014 | Bryan TX
[Picture LINK]
HowStuffWorks "Can humans regrow fingers?": "When a hobby-store owner in Cincinnati sliced off his fingertip in 2005 while showing a customer why the motor on his model plane was dangerous, he went to the emergency room without the missing tip. He couldn't find it anywhere. The doctor bandaged the wound and recommended a skin graft to cover the top of his right-middle stub for cosmetic purposes, since nothing could be done to rebuild the finger. Months later, he had regrown it, tissue, nerves, skin, fingernail and all (Julia Layton. no date. LINK) ..."

CONCLUSION
It takes a pig in the village to make things right. We at MooPig have been preachin' this adage for a pig's age. That's a long time.

"...This particular hobbyist happened to have a brother in the tissue-regeneration business, who told him to forego the skin graft and instead apply a powdered extract taken from pig's bladder to the raw finger tip. The extract, called extracellular matrix, lays the framework that cells use to generate any given body part. It's like a cellular scaffolding, and all animals have it. It holds the signals that direct cells to divide, differentiate and build themselves into a specific form (ibid. Layton.)..."Here’s another picture of the magic of pig bladder powder, just in case you want to see more fingers growing back.

MooPig Report from the Middle :: "TV Trends"
Meet Your New TV
by Pat Darnell | Dec 15, 2012 | Bryan TX
Cutting the Cable: Pay TV Subscribers Turn to Internet - ArkansasBusiness.com: "Between 2008 and 2011, an estimated 2.65 million people, or 2.6 percent of U.S. pay TV subscribers, cut their TV subscriptions to rely solely on online content or watch broadcast television with the use of an antenna, according to an April report from the Convergence Consulting Group Ltd. of Toronto, which studies the trend. Of that number, 1.05 million did it in 2011, and it is projected that by the end of this year the number of cord cutters will reach 3.58 million, the study said."
'via Blog this'
In three years, 2.6% of US TV end users cut off their Cables. That means in 2098 no one will be connected to Cable TV. I think Cable will become something else before that happens. With Netflix, Hulu, and dozens of other streaming companies, Cable will just be replaced with these. It is already happening... duh?
Technology companies like Apple, and Micro soft have consoles that satisfy all your streaming TV needs. For instance Microsoft makes the XBOX360 console that can be made wireless, and movement synchronous, so you login, and wave your hands, and up pops your programs on Hulu or Netflix, YouTube or Blockbuster...
So middle America can now dance with Rocky and CeCe on Shake it Up! while making dinner. Or you can watch all the YouTube presentations of recent UFO activity on UFOTV, on YouTube.
Cutting the cable, one "doesn't regret the decision, even though some TV shows aren't available, such as the ones involving the Kardashian clan or sporting events. (Mark Friedman. Posted 7/16/2012. LINK)"
Much of the middle society will witness the death of television as we know it on Aug 29th, 2045. Why that date? I just made it up, because that day I will be 90 years and two months old. HA!
So in our lifetimes we will not see that much happen that isn't happening today. Tech companies have become more careful about releasing the next big thing quickly as it comes available. That is why there hasn't been an upgrade from XBOX-360 to say the XBOX-terabyte, like one would expect happening by now.
Essentially, corporations would go bankrupt if they introduced new tech just as their older tech stuff was peaking globally. You will have to depend on tech elite to bring you the bigger better consoles as we move into Techno-barbaric Climate Change Age. We have exhausted the term Post-Modernism... so we come up with a new name for today.
That's our Report from the Middle -- where the men are good looking, the women are strong, and the children are above average.

MooPig 12 Days of Doom Prep :: DAY TWO "Climate Refugees"
Doomed due to Climate, and other Algore-rhythms
By Pat Darnell | Dec 9, 2012 | Bryan TX
[Picture LINK] "...Back on April 11th, 2011, Gavin Atkins of Asian Correspondent asked this simple question: What happened to the climate refugees?..."
Seventy percent of the earth is covered by water. Most of the land is carved by water and wind to be watersheds. Eighty percent of world's population lives near coastlines. This correlation of humans living by the water ways is producing a new class of people worldwide: "Climate Refugees."
There is nothing much more scary to witness as 'rising water.' When it rises, it comes in 'volumes' most of us are unwilling to accept as possible. Water seeks its own level, so it fills up all void space, corner to corner, bottom to top. Rising water knows no boundaries, as it erodes coast lines, or bulwarks, with ease and rapidity. It 'sweeps' away your domicile.
Water, can't live without it, can't live on it.
Most Americans make catastrophic decisions, but make few decisions about catastrophes. We depend on others to gather information for us so that we can make up our own minds. Then we do something, or brush it under the rug. The UN is just about the same as all that: headline from 2011, 'The UN ‘disappears’ 50 million climate refugees, then botches the cover-up...'
The problem here is that the UN made a boo boo. What they had advertised is that there would be 50 million refugees by the year 2010.
"... These are people who can no longer gain a secure livelihood in their homelands because of drought, soil erosion, desertification, deforestation and other environmental problems, together with the associated problems of population pressures and profound poverty, ... says Norman Myers of Oxford University ... "In their desperation, these people feel they have no alternative but to seek sanctuary elsewhere, however hazardous the attempt." ..."
CONCLUSION
MooPig Bombast Watch Department thinks that this issue is not very well funded. "We don't see a money trail for the '2.2 million deaths in developing countries that are caused each year by food and water-borne diseases.'" It doesn't seem to be a priority among nations who have surplus food, to help Climate Refugees.
The UN is powerless to do anything in a material sense, because of this under-funding trend. So, we just sit back and wait until we experience rising water.

Water, can't live without it, can't live on it.
" ... "Climate Refugees," people who are displaced by climatically induced environmental disasters. Climate change, both incremental and rapid, is resulting in increased droughts, desertification, sea level rise, and the more frequent occurrence of extreme weather events such as hurricanes, cyclones, fires, mass flooding and tornadoes. (Burkle Center for International Relations, UCLA International Institute, November 17, 2010. HERE) ... "Incremental and rapid change in waterways is forcing people to move away and this is causing border conflicts everywhere it is happening. So much so that " ... The Pentagon now considers climate change a national security risk and the term “Climate Wars” is being talked about in war-room like environments in Washington D.C. ... "
" ... In 2005, the United Nations Environment Programme predicted that climate change would create 50 million climate refugees by 2010. These people, it was said, would flee a range of disasters including sea level rise, increases in the numbers and severity of hurricanes, and disruption to food production. (Anthony Watts. 04/16/2011. HERE) ... "That has been updated to be 50 million 'Environmental Refugees' by the year 2020. " ... When people are not living in sustainable conditions, they migrate," she [University of California, Los Angeles professor Cristina Tirado] continued, outlining ...how climate change is impacting both food security and food safety, or the amount of food available and the healthfulness of that food. (Karin Zeitvogel (AFP) – Feb 21, 2011. LINK) ... "
" ... [O]ften it's just poor people saying 'I've got to survive, I've got to eat, I've got to feed my family' that ignites things." (Michigan State University professor Ewen Todd)... "Where are the "Climate Refugees," or, "Environmental Refugees," depending on which Algore-rhythm you follow...? "What we saw in Tunisia -- a change in government and suddenly there are a whole lot of people going to Italy -- this is going to be the pattern," says Ewen Todd. It has been food shortages that put people into 'refugee mode.' Africans have moved to Spain, and Germany, and points along the mediterranean.
"... These are people who can no longer gain a secure livelihood in their homelands because of drought, soil erosion, desertification, deforestation and other environmental problems, together with the associated problems of population pressures and profound poverty, ... says Norman Myers of Oxford University ... MooPig's "One Hundred Years"
What is different today from a hundred years ago?
Re framed by Pat Darnell | Jan 12, 2012 | Bryan TX
The report, "Climate: Observations, projections and impacts," examined how climate change will modify the weather in 24 countries around the world. Floods, heat, migration: How extreme weather will transform cities (George Webster, for CNN. January 2, 2012)

What Difference Does a Hundred Years of Humanity Make, Anyway?
by Jean Kinzel :: 1911 Ford Model T
The year is 1911 --- One hundred (and one) years ago.
What a difference a century makes!
Here are some statistics for the Year 1911:
************ ********* ************
The average life expectancy for men was 47 years.
Fuel for this car was sold in drug stores only.
Only 14 percent of the homes had a bathtub.
Only 8 percent of the homes had a telephone.
There were only 8,000 cars and only 144 miles of paved roads.
The maximum speed limit in most cities was 10 mph..
The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower !
The average US wage in 1910 was 22 cents per hour.
The average US worker made between $200 and $400 per year.
A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per year,
A dentist $2,500 per year,
a veterinarian between $1,500 and $4,000 per year,
and a mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year.
More than 95 percent of all births took place at home.
Ninety percent of all Doctors had NO COLLEGE EDUCATION.
Instead, they attended so-called medical schools, many of which
were condemned in the press AND the government as "substandard."
Sugar cost four cents a pound.
Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen.
Coffee was fifteen cents a pound.
Most women only washed their hair once a month,
and used Borax or egg yolks for shampoo.
Canada passed a law that prohibited poor people from
entering into their country for any reason.
The Five leading causes of death were:
1. Pneumonia and influenza
2. Tuberculosis
3. Diarrhea
4. Heart disease
5.. Stroke
The American flag had 45 stars.
The population of Las Vegas , Nevada, was only 30!!!
Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and iced tea hadn't been invented yet.
There was neither a Mother's Day nor a Father's Day.
Two out of every 10 adults couldn't read or write and only 6 percent
of all Americans had graduated from high school.
Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were all available over the counter
at the local corner drugstores.
Back then pharmacists said, "Heroin clears the complexion,
gives buoyancy to the mind, regulates the stomach and bowels,
and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health!"
Eighteen percent of households had at least one full-time servant or domestic help ....
There were about 230 reported murders in the ENTIRE U.S.A. !
Geez, try to imagine what will be said about 2012 in another 100 years.

So, What Will Take the Place of Global Warming?
By: Al
Published: November 28th, 2009 [HERE]
It is now clear (well, confirmed – it was always clear as day) that the computer models on which the whole climate change theory was built were simply made up. As these models are also a big part of the 2007 report by the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that got it the joint Nobel peace prize with Al Gore, it is my understanding that the Nobel committee will ask them to return the prize, with interest, any time now.
Seriously speaking, though, the green totalitarians are far from defeated. Too much is at stake – global power, plain and simple – for them to give up even after their scheme has been exposed. Indeed, they would be fools to give up now when their powerful allies, the news media, are putting their news-burying and spinning skills to good use and when the U.S. president, despite everything, is going to Copenhagen to pledge large unilateral cuts in “carbon emissions”.
But when the carbon racket finally is defeated, expect another, yet-unknown global scare to take its place within a few short years. The international left will need a new weapon in its assault against capitalism, economic development and freedom. So if sometime soon you notice that the media are starting to bombard you with soft, well-produced propaganda about something new that is endangering the world and requires global-governance treaties and trillions of dollars to prevent, you’ll know the same people are behind it. And you can bet your carbon footprint that right now, these people are already hard at work on their next big thing.
I wonder what it will be. (AL. 11.28.2009. blogofrecord LINK)
Conclusion: Hi Al, I'll be your Body Guard, and I'll call you Al -- OK? Other wise we could not say what you have said any better. [pdaf]

[pdaf]
