Rush Limbaugh, for his whole adult life has driven a desk with a microphone attached. Limbaugh has been married four times and has no children. Limbaugh's hometown is Cape Girardeau, Missouri. His first marriage was September 24, 1977. Limbaugh is not healthy. He is morbidly overweight, smokes cigars, and is deaf in both ears. Reporters have asked if " ... Limbaugh's sudden hearing loss was caused by his addiction to opiates, his cochlear implant doctor, otolaryngologist, Jennifer Derebery, said that it was possible but that there is no way to know for sure without performing tests that would destroy Limbaugh's hearing completely.

His buffoonery on radio is not without set backs for the plump, self-proclaimed conservative:

CONCLUSION
Without sponsorship, a talk show radio host is not going to be a high roller. Rush Limbaugh is losing his advertisers, and it has caused him and the radio stations he haunts losses in revenue. Will he be eventually shut down? Lots of people are sick and tired of Limbaugh's hucksterism's, of promoting information that is deficient, libel, and many times, hurtful.

We don't think this will shut him up any time soon. He has done no real job his whole life and yapping his pie hole is all he knows how to do. He will go into his morbid old age trying to reclaim his fame from earlier years. Too bad for all of us.

I think that solutions to huge problems are often discovered quite by accident. Radio waves and salt water ... not even sea salt ... just water with Morton's salt in it, will cause saltwater to burn with intense steady flame. Internal combustion is a great possibility, and an end to non-renewable energy sources is plausible.

According to the referenced article -- "It should be noted, however, that the process is not yet considered a practical method of generating energy ... According to a PESWiki article on the subject, the radio-wave generator consumes more energy than can be produced by the burning salt water. Some of the more enthusiastic reports on the invention tend to gloss over this fact. "

Did somebody sneeze? We will try to find out more about this one. I hope someone is out there with a thinking cap on.

I just listened to Alex Jones being "interviewed" by Piers Morgan ... more of a tongue lashing of the host. Piers Morgan did not get a word in edgewise, as Alex Jones berated Morgan, his show, and his lineage.

KPFT Targeted: Bullet Pierces Studio Window of Pacifica’s Houston Station: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2007 :: " ... Station manager Duane Bradley said the shooting might have been political. If so, it would not be the first politically motivated attack on KPFT. I remember this happening in 1970. It barely made the news back then. No one gave a whoot whether commercial free radio existed or not, that is people who sit in governing type offices, didn't care.

But the shadow government of KKK must have cared a lot if Pacifica KPFT Houston broadcasted.  Because they put dynamite on the roof of the radio's station's transmitter and blew it up.

I was fifteen. I used to listen to Pacifica late night when they would play full albums of great bands... it was so cool to have FM radio, and cruise in your Momma's Chevy Chevette SS, on a star spangled night with the top down... yes I was a spoiled brat. It was my time of experiential elitism that probably rivaled Mitt Robmoney's upbringing.

And like authoritarians of that decade, many would today remove my freedoms if they could, just to block my 'inalienable rights' to listen to commercial free radio, dammit.

The deal in which Bain Capital became one of the owners of Clear Channel was initiated just a short time before Mitt Romney's first run for president. The following comes from Wikipedia....

On November 16, 2006, Clear Channel announced plans to go private, being bought out by two private-equity firms, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital Partners for $18.7 billion, which is just under a 10 percent premium above its closing price of $35.36 a share on November 16 (the deal values Clear Channel at $37.60 per share).

The deal was finalized in 2008. Today, Bain Capital is still one of the primary owners of Clear Channel.

One of the subsidiaries of Clear Channel is Premiere Radio Networks.

And yes, Mitt Romney is still bringing in lots of money from Bain Capital. The following comes from a Wikipedia article about Mitt Romney....
