How Many Homeless can live in a Pontiac?

Americans Have Spent Enough Money On A Broken Plane To Buy Every Homeless Person A Mansion | ThinkProgress: "Just days before its international debut at an airshow in the United Kingdom, the entire fleet of the Pentagon’s next generation fighter plane — known as the F-35 II Lightning, or the Joint Strike Fighter — has been grounded, highlighting just what a boondoggle the project has been. With the vast amounts spent so far on the aircraft, the United States could have worked wonders, including providing every homeless person in the U.S. a $600,000 home."
'via Blog this'

  • There are 610,042 homeless in the USA. "In January/2013 ... 610,042 people were homeless on a given night. Most (65 percent) were living in emergency shelters or transitional housing programs and 35 percent were living in unsheltered locations (LINK)..."
  • Over its life-cycle, estimated at about 55 years, operating and maintaining the F-35 fleet will cost the U.S. a little over $1 trillion. By contrast, the entirety of the Manhattan Project — which created the nuclear bomb from scratch — cost about $55 billion in today’s dollars (LINK) ..."

MooPig GWOT Department :: "WTF?"

Writing is a daily exercise. If I don't write for a few days I find I get squirrel-y. Also, writing regularly in a blog I get real adept at writing a short-short, but as soon as I miss a few days, I get raspy on the short-short.

I have written 3517 blog posts, 251 of them are unpublished drafts. They are the orphans. Here is one of those drafts that talks about GWOT, the Global War on Terrorism.

The Worldwide Network of US Military Bases | Global Research: "Twenty years later, US strategists, in an attempt to justify their military interventions in different parts of the World, have conceptualized the greatest fraud in US history, namely “the Global War on Terrorism” (GWOT). The latter, using a fabricated pretext  constitutes a global war against all those who oppose US hegemony. A modern form of slavery, instrumented through militarization and the “free market” has unfolded. Major elements of the conquest and world domination strategy by the US refer to:

1) the control of the world economy and its financial markets,

2) the taking over of all natural resources (primary resources and nonrenewable sources of energy). The latter constitute the cornerstone of US power through the activities of its multinational corporations."

MooPig Budget Department :: "How many US Overseas Military Bases are There"

Trillion Dollars? It's "Penta-gone"
Mashed articles by Pat Darnell  |  Dec 1, 2013  |  Bryan TX

[Picture LINK]

Op-Ed: How many bases does U.S. have globally and what is their cost?: "David Vine who teaches at American University in Washington D.C. who has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Guardian, attempted to find out himself the cost of the more than 1,000 U.S. military bases outside of the United States and is currently completing a book on the subject."

'via Blog this'

MooPig Budget Department has been looking around for models to fashion its department around. The editors found this bit of malaise surrounding the US Military Budget. It is totally f**ked up, SNAFU, murky dismal. The military is our number one embezzler of taxpayer money. YIKES!

Safe to say, MooPig Budget Department won't be copying the Pentagon's creative accounting; or will we? If they can get away with it, hey, ....
" ... The Pentagon must each year produce an "Overseas Cost Summary" that calculates the total price on overseas military activities. This includes costs of construction, repairs and maintenance. There are about one million U.S. military and Defence Department personnel and families abroad. This calculation for the 2012 fiscal year ending September 30 documented $22.1 billion in spending. But that is only part of the story.

Congress conveniently ordered the Pentagon not to include the more than $118 billion spent in 2012 on wars in Afghanistan and other places throughout the globe. Even if you added this amount in, it does not come close to economist's Anita Danc's estimate of about $250 billion. Even without including war spending, Danc's estimate comes to about $ 140 billion, not even close to the Pentagon figures. (Ken Hanly. Dec 16, 2012. LINK) ... "

MooPig Good Questions Department :: "Keep those Hard Questions Coming In"

Questions with No Answers
Collected by Pat Darnell  |  Nov 30, 2013  |  Bryan TX

[Picture LINK]

God love me, I ask a lot of questions. MooPig Good Questions Department is not the first link to making a list of good questions. There are about 260,000 hits on Google for "tough questions to answer." I can't count how many times people have gotten away from me by saying just that: "That's a good question..." and walking away; their strategic retreat.

For instance referenced below are some sites that ask a lot of good questions. But some questions still cannot be answered by searching the Internet, which after all, is a detailed compendium of 12,000 years of human written history ... right? The real key to asking good questions is when you turn a statement into a query.

Here is our first ever set of good questions:
  • If there are 1077 overseas US military bases, why is it so hard to find out how much is spent on maintaining all our bases?

  • When I am so tired why do I feel sick to my stomach, and unable to talk?

  • Why do ferrets shit and piss always in the corners?

  • When you have a tumor in your head do you bleed from your ear?

  • Why hasn't the Federal Reserve Bank ever been audited?

  • Why do workers embezzle money from their employers?

  • Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?

  • Why is it not possible to know the truth without challenging it first?

  • Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?

  • Why does my husband sneak off and eat all my ice cream?

  • If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?

  • Is reaching our highest potential directly related to our willingness to act in the face of imperfection?

  • Why does Nature hate a vacuum?

  • Why can't a man or woman serve two masters?

  • Could a war breakout over a typo?

  • Why is a grudge a heavy thing to carry?

  • Does the Pope really have a catholic case for shitting in the woods?

  • And, why do I love to hear my wife singing while she makes the coffee?

MooPig Activism :: The Real Costs of Profiteering

Consequences are Deep; the Perpetrators are Shallow
Retrieved by Pat Darnell at Matthew Bach/faceBook  |  Mar 21, 2013  |  Bryan TX

When this war dragged on past Dubya Bush's speech when he said the US has prevailed in the Battle of Iraq; his speech given from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, it awoke a beast in me. I did not know that I would have such hatred for a president as I did on that day. Now years later, in the wake of our Iraqi occupation, I think Dubya was standing on the stern of the carrier. He must have been preaching to the seagulls on the fan tail.

Whatever he was doing, turned out to be a lot of barking at the wind. Dubya Bush is a lunatic, and living proof that privilege allows men to go free even when they are mass murderers.

A dying Iraq veteran pays his last respects to the men and women who killed him.

Dangerous Minds | Dying vet’s ‘fuck you’ letter to George Bush & Dick Cheney needs to be read by every American:

To: George W. Bush and Dick Cheney
From: Tomas Young
EXCERPT  |  " I write this letter on behalf of us all—the human detritus your war has left behind, those who will spend their lives in unending pain and grief. I write this letter, my last letter, to you, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney. I write not because I think you grasp the terrible human and moral consequences of your lies, manipulation and thirst for wealth and power. I write this letter because, before my own death, I want to make it clear that I, and hundreds of thousands of my fellow veterans, along with millions of my fellow citizens, along with hundreds of millions more in Iraq and the Middle East, know fully who you are and what you have done. "
'via Blog this'

When we find these "Internet" derivations of fact, we are as wary as anybody that it is possibly the work of imagination. But we find this letter expressing many Americans' heart felt opinions of what has happened.

If the letter is a knock-off, well, even so, it should still be regarded as a declaration of independence from the misogyny, hegemony, dilettantism, dreck, and confusion brought on by privileged progeny of rich, bombastic, war profiteers:

at Letter EXCERPT | " ... You may evade justice but in our eyes you are each guilty of egregious war crimes, of plunder and, finally, of murder, including the murder of thousands of young Americans—my fellow veterans—whose future you stole. ... "

Oooorah!

Catholic Case for Expunging all your Web Sites ... for good! No Matter What!

Soccer coach trying to take back child-porn guilty plea
March 15, 2010 7:22 PM  |  Retrieved by P Darnell  |  SOURCE
A Coal City soccer coach and paramedic described by his former attorney as a "community hero" is attempting to rescind his guilty plea on federal child pornography charges, in part because he wasn't wearing his glasses when he entered the plea.

Investigators were led to Timothy Scholtes after they found his name and login ID -- "boypleaser" -- on servers used by a child pornography Web site in 2008, according to the criminal complaint.

Authorities then found more than 100 illegal images on Scholtes' computer, records show. They also found a document he apparently wrote that describes sexually assaulting players on his team, records show.

In October, Scholtes pleaded guilty in federal court before Judge Robert Gettleman to two counts of receiving child pornography on his computer and one count of enticing a minor to engage in filmed sexual activity. He was not charged with sexually assaulting anyone.

Then Scholtes, who is being held in the Kankakee County jail, fired his attorney. His new attorney, Gerardo Gutierrez, compared the October plea hearing in a filing last week to the rushed final round of the television show "Jeopardy!"

Gutierrez acknowledged it will be "extremely difficult" for Scholtes to withdraw his plea but argues the judge failed to properly determine Scholtes understood the charges he faced before accepting it. Scholtes cannot read without his glasses and did not have them on the day he made his plea or when he met with prosecutors to discuss the case weeks before, Gutierrez said.

Scholtes also was charged in Grundy County last year with indecent solicitation after allegedly propositioning a boy on his soccer team who refused the advance. Grundy County State's Attorney Sheldon Sobol said the charge was dismissed pending the federal case's outcome.

Among the challenges Scholtes faces in rescinding his plea are his own words.

"There is times I've sat in my cell and wondered, 'Did I do this?'" Scholtes said at his plea hearing, according to an excerpted transcript included in last week's filing. "And I've just blocked it out and don't remember doing it. I don't know, sir. The only thing I can say is that I did it."

First in this Series -- PART 1: Meet the National MooPiGEO'Graphic Staff

So you want to be an Inter-National MooPiGEO'Graphic Photographer?
by Pat Darnell

PHOTO Top: 607,000 AMerican Nationals brave the icy waters of the reflection pond in the Mall in DC yesterday to watch the pond-side Jumbotron of Barry Obama's Inauguration. [by Leftbent Phrom Birth... who hung over a ledge to capture these magnificent images.]

Can you handle the Military Code of Justice? If your answer is "I don't know..." that is a VERY good answer.

MooPiGEO'Graphics answers to no code, bylaw, or Gitmo's. Last word on that. We go in and cull the photos throughout Interkingdomnet, with aplomb and sleepy eyes.

MooPig Enterprises invites you to meet now our dedicated world-wide faithful Noahs and Johns; our stealthy Burkha Moms and sandled Muslim marathon runners.

There are so many fabulous photo-image makers we will take it slower and show a few each day.

Today we are featuring Leftbent Phrom Birth originally from Pripyat Boyarka Boys' Town of Kiev Ukraine.

When asked how can he bear the 26 degree\ wind chill 14 degrees? He replied, "I'm used to difficult weather and radiation."

PHOTO Middle: Leftbent Phrom Birth is shown hanging from the ledges, braving SWAT rifle fire, homosexuals advances, 14 degree wind chill, and tenth out of two hundred surgeries to correct his condition, to get the gathered masses headliner photo for INMPGG.

PHOTO Bottom: As is usual for Leftbent, things get tougher before they get better, he has to rip the Public phone off the wall to make his calls comfortably. This leads to constant arrests, and conjugal visits to jails, for which MooPig Enterprises appreciatively pays his bail anytime, and anywhere.
