MooPig Good Questions Department :: "Keep those Hard Questions Coming In"

Questions with No Answers
Collected by Pat Darnell  |  Nov 30, 2013  |  Bryan TX

[Picture LINK]

God love me, I ask a lot of questions. MooPig Good Questions Department is not the first link to making a list of good questions. There are about 260,000 hits on Google for "tough questions to answer." I can't count how many times people have gotten away from me by saying just that: "That's a good question..." and walking away; their strategic retreat.

For instance referenced below are some sites that ask a lot of good questions. But some questions still cannot be answered by searching the Internet, which after all, is a detailed compendium of 12,000 years of human written history ... right? The real key to asking good questions is when you turn a statement into a query.

Here is our first ever set of good questions:
  • If there are 1077 overseas US military bases, why is it so hard to find out how much is spent on maintaining all our bases?

  • When I am so tired why do I feel sick to my stomach, and unable to talk?

  • Why do ferrets shit and piss always in the corners?

  • When you have a tumor in your head do you bleed from your ear?

  • Why hasn't the Federal Reserve Bank ever been audited?

  • Why do workers embezzle money from their employers?

  • Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?

  • Why is it not possible to know the truth without challenging it first?

  • Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?

  • Why does my husband sneak off and eat all my ice cream?

  • If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?

  • Is reaching our highest potential directly related to our willingness to act in the face of imperfection?

  • Why does Nature hate a vacuum?

  • Why can't a man or woman serve two masters?

  • Could a war breakout over a typo?

  • Why is a grudge a heavy thing to carry?

  • Does the Pope really have a catholic case for shitting in the woods?

  • And, why do I love to hear my wife singing while she makes the coffee?

Are Americans Stupid? - Statistics, Studies and Research

Retrieved by Pat Darnell | Dec 5, 2011 | Bryan TX

Are Americans Stupid? - Statistics, Studies and Research | Aby The Liberal:

"If you’re between 13 and 25, you should know the answer to every one of theses questions; otherwise, you are a complete and utter idiot raised by derisory, useless parents who deserve a good beating for allowing you to be educated by worthless teachers uncaring of your future.
  1. Who is the Vice president of the United States?
  2. Who is the Secretary of Defense?
  3. Who is the Secretary of the State?
  4. Who is the Attorney General of the United States?
  5. Who is Jeb Bush?
  6. What does the D.C. in Washington D.C. stand for?
  7. What are the Fundamental Orders of 1639?
  8. Where is Iraq?
  9. Where is Afghanistan?
  10. What did the president of Iran do to America before he ever became Iran’s president?
  11. Where is Iran?
  12. Where is the United Nations, who runs it, and is it a good thing?"
@ Article   " ... USA scores the lowest in national average IQ among the developed countries of the world, at a national average score of 98. The data is obtained from IQ and Global Equality by Dr. Richard Lynn (professor of Psychology, University of Ulster, Northern Ireland) and Dr. Tatu Vanhanen (University of Tampere, Finland) who have done extensive research on the subject spanning several years. The national average IQ score of Americans at 98 is below 22 countries (including Switzerland, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, North Korea and China). The low Intelligence Quotient (IQ) score of United States puts the Americans at a lower intelligence level on an average as compared to the other industralised nations. ..."

MooPig's Flood Gauge Fusion :: "What do YOU see?"

[Artwork by Desiree Darnell]
If you see anything you might try the Online Rorschach Test:
Rorschach Test Theory
[LINK]  |  Retrieved by Pat Darnell  |  June 23, 2011  |  Bryan TX
The most widely used method in the United States is based on the work of John E. Exner. In the Exner system, responses are scored with reference to their level of vagueness or synthesis of multiple images in the blot, the location of the response, which of a variety of determinants is used to produce the response (i.e., what makes the inkblot look like what it is said to resemble), the form quality of the response (to what extent a response is faithful to how the actual inkblot looks), the contents of the response (what the respondent actually sees in the blot), the degree of mental organizing activity that is involved in producing the response, and any illogical, incongruous, or incoherent aspects of responses.

Using the scores for these categories, the examiner then performs a series of mathematical calculations producing a structural summary of the test data. The results of the structural summary are interpreted using existing empirical research data on personality characteristics that have been demonstrated to be associated with different kinds of responses. Both the calculations of scores and the interpretation are often done electronically.

We, on the other hand, dispense with all that technical and pseudo-scientific mumbo-jumo, and simply give you some random answers. Many people claim that these are every bit as good as the "real" Rorschach answers determined by some highly paid, fancy-pants clinician or psychologist with an actual degree.
