In fighting wild fires, fighters use what is called fire suppression. The fire-fighters start a fire at the edge of the "out of control wild fire" which consumes the fuel that would spread the maelstrom. It is a sort of "fire paradox" and metaphor for how to control a Data Explosion.

This is Dancing With the Stars Debut History. Youth explodes and runs past all the Geezers who would be dancing stars. Call Zendaya the only brightest spiral galaxy in an otherwise black hole of reality television madness. Call it what you want, but I never would have watched this ridiculous show if it were not for the champion effort of Zendaya and Val Chmerkovsky.

" ... Z[endaya] did actually stand out last night though, and we're not just biased. She earned the top spot with 24 points out of a possible 30.

We don't want to jinx it, but we totally think she's going to win this season. Check out Zendaya's DWTS debut in the video below, and don't forget to vote for her all season long!

My TV brother Roshon was on “DWTS” and he has been giving me a lot of advice. He was like, listen, what you need to know is to blow your nose before you go out on stage. Okay so it is attrition time. Pull an orange card from the Attrition Game Deck ...

MooPig Dance Trends Department has been following the career of Zendaya and her cohorts of Disney's "Shake It Up!" kids TV. The kids on the show are dancers on a local TV show called "Shake It Up Chicago," so, they are in a show about a show. Zendaya 's name on the show is Rocky, and her best friend is CeCe, real name: Bella Thorne.

What we noticed first time we saw the show was that none of the regulars could dance a lick. but that does not stop the General Audience rated action. We found the show refreshing, so we channel back to watch for new episodes.

Well, it is only the third season, and already star actress Zendaya is Dancing With The Stars, DWTS, tonight. so for sure we will tune in.

When asked "Why the one name billing for you, Zendaya?" She replies "My Dad made up the name and like 'Madonna,' you know, Zendaya!"

That is attrition in all its glory. Move over Madge, Beyonce, Charo, and the rest ... Zendaya!

UC Irvine professor stops teaching online course in dispute - latimes.com: "Gary Matkin, UC Irvine's dean of Continuing Education, Distance Learning and Summer Session, said in a statement that McKenzie is "not accustomed [as few are] in teaching university-level material to an open, large and quite diverse audience, including those who were not seriously committed to achieving the learning objectives of the course or who decided not to or could not gain access to supplemental learning materials." Future lessons and assignments, as developed by McKenzie, will continue to be presented, Matkin said."

The action by Richard A. McKenzie, an emeritus professor in the UC Irvine business school, highlights the uncertainties faculty face in adapting traditional face-to-face classes to the emerging universe of Massive Open Online Courses, known as MOOCs.

Under the Coursera model, much of the grading is automatic or performed by fellow students. Professors videotape lectures in advance and often comment in general on message boards without answering questions. Although enrollment is free, Coursera charges students $30 to $99 for a completion certificate.

The big story this week is that Coursera is in talks with the American Council on Education to grant degrees for online classes offered through the network of MOOC courses that are currently free and not-for-credit. For that to happen, the parties would have to ensure they could prevent cheating and meet other academic standards. Colleges would also have to decide whether they accept Coursera credits. Attrition-Challenged Word-Snipers

Snipe or Sniper, what's the diff? Ever go on a Snipe hunt with your new il bastardo friends? Blimey, it is not as fun as cow tipping. Poor cows.

SNIPE Hunt -- Noun; 1. an elaborate practical joke in which the unsuspecting victim hunts a snipe and is typically left in the dark holding a bag and waiting for the snipe to run into it; "in the South a snipe hunt is practically a rite of passage"

Here's the draw: you can reverse the challenge by going out as if you are playing their game. Then you spend the next three hours at the bars, hopping from one to the other. They will stay out there all night waiting for you to return to their circle jerk of friends to herd a snipe into your bag. HA HA! We all have big hearty laugh... no?

Attrition-challenged friends, well, you need them for certain times in business and social situations -- but most needed for war. Although, you least need them running the show for you. Suppose attrition-challenged is also "Gullible." Gullibility, sounds sort of like Hill-Billity, and one could make that connection. Gullible -- It's the inverse of first rule of boxing; "Protect yourselves at all times..." no?

This game of snipe is to test gullibility. Who is most gullible? Not the pack of past winners who wait for you to lose...? Or Not you the player who lets them run in the field all night waiting for you to return as since their aim is to make you play by their rules?

If everyone leaves, then the game is a draw. It would be nice also if you left remains of dead carcasses where you were last seen. Unnatural arrangement of the dead things, it turns out, will bring out emotionality in the game. If your wannabe friends are also ED [emotionally disturbed] you could film this episode, and get some youTube views, as first journal of ED kids on a Snipe Hunt gone bad... eh? Could turn out to be Shakespearean in scale: re-write of King Lear in three acts.

In final comments: the whole masquerade boils down to Words. As the games develop, so do wars... and means do not, [repeat: do not], ever justify the ends of war, games, or attrition. How it turns out is generally the same every time. The best action is to just walk away, take a stroll, enjoy some fresh air.

There is billions of lifetimes wasted and interrupted by games, wars, -- genocide, while attrition plays its role of allowing attrition-challenged's to fill positions they might never have filled.

That is why each of us must become Word Snipers, and be alert to the challenge of false war games... no?

A snipe hunt, also known as a fool's errand or wild goose chase, is one of a class of practical jokes that involves experienced people making fun of newcomers by giving them an impossible or imaginary task.

For example, inexperienced campers are told about a bird or animal called the snipe as well as a usually ridiculous method of catching it, such as running around the woods carrying a bag or making strange noises. Incidentally, the Snipe [various species of shorebirds] is difficult to catch for experienced hunters, so much so that the word "sniper" is derived from it to refer to anyone skilled enough to shoot one[wkpd].
