Costco Crushes Sam's and BJ's

Costco, BJs, and Sam’s Club are wholesale shopping clubs and warehouse stores that offer their members a lot of benefits. However, I haven’t been in any of them for years, so it’s a good time to consider them as a means of containing my growing grocery bills. With what’s going on in the economy right now, I’m willing to investigate new strategies to help slim down my budget!
In my case, I’ll probably have to work hard, [that is] to keep deals I don’t need, ..from hopping into my cart! If I go for the bulk bags of flour and sugar or the massive carton of pasta, then I’d have to plan where to store these goodies in my space-limited house. Also, I need to make sure I can’t get the necessities on my list at a cheaper price from area grocery stores or Amazon.com. Still, buying in bulk is a well-known cost saving strategy, so overall I’m definitely interested in exploring more of what these warehouse stores have to offer shoppers.(A Look At Costco, Sam’s Club and Other Wholesale Shopping Clubs, by Millie Kay G. on October 12, 2008 HERE)-- or t'is it the Time of the Season for Giving ...a Good punch to the chops of your local shopping club service employee.. YIKES! [really -- don't punch anyone, okay?]?
Comment by Mad Customer: [SOURCE] The Costco stores in the valley (Phoenix AZ) operate this same scam. They always try to use the analogy of ‘It’s like a gym membership …’. They train their employees to say the same analogy (Last year, several Costco employees used the same analogy …hmmmmm.). This is completely ridiculous. Believe me, you are not the first person that has called Costco on this unfair and deceptive business practice.

I love this quote:"One problem for Wall Street is that Costco pays its workers much better than archrival Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT ) does and analysts worry that Costco's operating expenses could get out of hand. "At Costco, it's better to be an employee or a customer than a shareholder," says Deutsche Bank (DB ) analyst Bill Dreher. "

Hey men, I work at Academy Sports + Outdoors in Pearland, TX. This store,
on "Black Friday" had the best one store, single day sales of any store in the chain, in history. When us, as a work force, at the announcement, started thinking bonus or "good job folks", the manager said
" However, starting this week we will be cutting hours."
I haven't heard of any government agencies laying-off or cutting back or lightening retirement packages or offering any kind of belt-tightening solutions to their bloated budgets and cubicle occupying dead beats.
I may become an activist.
Activated: on Friday He gave up the ghost and was placed in an earthen grave, covered by a large stone.
On the third day the stone was rolled away, the tomb empty of His remains, and a messenger sat on the place where He had lain... and spoke to the first to arrive.
Now is that a Black Friday? or a Good Friday?
I think it is a good day, and the A-team at Academy tries to work together all year, and when all the stuff comes together, all in one day, well they just afterwards fall asleep, and rest as if in a coma.
Call it the House of a thousand corpses, or an amnesiat-ic, syndrom-ed hospital for inadequacy; For many, transcendence is unknown.
It is times like these we have to apply the Grandma Factor: "Is it dauntless?"
