"THE THREE SUPREME COURT STOOGES — (Clarence Thomas, Antonin Scalia and Samuel Alito) At this critical time in our nation's history when our leaders need to stand for fairness and justice, these three knuckleheads are doing their best to permanently tip the balance of power to the richest Americans and most powerful corporations. Their decision to skip this week's State of the Union address represents the lowest character from our nation's highest court members. Perhaps their worst decision was Citizens United which gives corporations the rights of people.
“Egregious” doesn't even begin to describe the negative impact of this decision on our democracy. It has opened the floodgate to groups that can now officially buy our government and make decisions further enriching those groups. They have a lock on our future. We the people must stand against this tyranny. This week we saw a true patriot, Elizabeth Warren face down federal regulators for failing to take Wall Street's banksters to task. So there is hope.
