MooPig's Almost Friday :: "Breastaurant"

Let your Freak Flag fly
Googled by Pat Darnell  |  Apr 13, 2013  |  Bryan TX

Hey, you're all welcome for the free advertising. All twelve MooPig readers will surely consider your "Breastaraunts" for future gatherings.

By the way, the outer layer of skin is called the epidermis, made up of about 25 rows of dead skin cells. Your skin makes up about 16 percent of your body weight, which means you have roughly 1.6 trillion skin cells. Of those billions of skin cells, between 30,000 and 40,000 of them fall off every hour. Over a 24-hour period, you lose almost a million skin cells.

Meanwhile, the average human head has around 100,000 hair follicles. On average, blondes have the highest density of hair: 140,000 hair follicles, redheads the lowest at 90,000 follicles, and those with black hair have on average 110,000 follicles. A human head sheds about an average of 127 hairs per day normally.

But let's be objective.

'Breastaurant' In Texas Gets Trademark - Business Insider: "Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill resides in Bankersmith, Texas, which was bought by Guller last year with the intention of changing the town name to Bikini, Texas and turning the area into an entertainment destination, or should we say, breastination.  Bikinis also has locations in Oklahoma, and North Carolina.  Hooters' sales fell 4 percent last year as competitors caught up to its formula. The chain responded by trying to appeal to women."

Sure thing, Hooter's is the new family restaurant, along with Cracker Barrel and Denny's.

" ... While Hooters, Twin Peaks, the Tilted Kilt and other chain restaurants that feature bodacious waitresses in skimpy outfits have been called "breastaurants" for years, the owner of the Texas-based Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill is the first to make it official.

" ... Last July, Guller purchased the abandoned town of Bankersmith, Texas, in Kendall County, two hours driving distance from Austin, off Craigslist and made plans to turn it into a seasonal tourist destination. Guller is calling the city Bikini, Texas. (ALEX PEREZ, DREW THORRY and LAUREN EFFRON ... April 9, 2013. LINK)
In its bid for world domination, " ... the sports bar chain, which features waitresses dressed in revealing bikini tops, short jean skirts and cowboy boots, plans to grow to 50 eateries and nearly 4,000 employees over the next five years.
Meanwhile, Guller has several projects in the works, including taking the Keep Austin Weird mantra to Bikinis, Texas — a town he bought off Craigslist and plans to transform into a party destination. Another project is a proposed reality TV show that would film in the town of Bikinis.
“We hope the television show introduces the Bikinis brand to a much wider audience,” Guller told us in November 2012. “We don’t think we've even scratched the surface yet.” Meanwhile, Guller said he's excited to have received the trademark. "It just further solidifies that Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill is America’s only breastaurant," he said. (Sarah Drake Contributing Editor-Austin Business Journal. April 5, 2013. LINK) ... "

MooPig Anthropology Nanosecond :: "Hair"

Snagged by Pat Darnell and Alex Lifeson  |  March 1, 2013  |  Bryan TX

Cen Yingyuan: 'I'm addicted to my hair', says Chinese woman who hasn't trimmed her 6ft 7in hair in 11 YEARS | Mail Online: "She is unable to wash it in a shower or bath due to its extreme length and is forced to bend over a bucket. Cen washes her hair every four days and her secret to keeping it shiny is to use a bottle of beer. And Cen is not alone in being obsessed with growing her hair. The Red Yao women, a minority ethnic group from Huangluo Yao Village in China, have an average hair length of 5.5 feet with the longest locks measure more than 6.8 feet. Incredibly, the women cut their hair only once in their lives, at 16 years old, before they start their search for a husband, as they believe a woman long hair brings longevity, wealth and good fortune."

'via Blog this'

The trick to keeping such a vast amount of hair shiny, according to Cen, is to rinse it with a bottle of beer

Proud: Cen Yingyuan shows off her 6ft 7in long hair, the result of 11 years without having it cut

COMMENTS
[F]or the people commenting saying the cannot grow their hair past a certain length....this is called your terminal length. your genes determine terminal length and no matter what you do or how long you wait, your hair will never grow beyond this length. i struggle to grow mine just a few inches below my shoulders.
- Jen , Southampton, 01/3/2013

@how does she sleep: she can leave it open or plait it and let it hang over the side of the bed or push it between her pillow and the bedstead. I know because I'm 5 ft 5 inches and my hair is below my knees. And her hair is not 6 ft 7 inches since its basically the same height as she is. And thoroughly washing hair of this length takes five minutes under a decent shower. If she uses a bucket and treats her hair as if its made of spun sugar then yes, it will take her an hour! Drying hair of this length though does take 24 hours, she's right about that...
- ashlis , Asia, 01/3/2013

I'll never moan about having to wash mine ever again.

AMY GOODMAN: The World Bank has approved a controversial $3.75 billion loan for South Africa to build one of the world’s largest coal-fired power plants. The World Bank said the loan to the South African utility company, Eskom, would help, quote, “South Africa achieve a reliable electricity supply.” But environmentalists in South Africa and abroad have criticized the decision and are urging the bank to stop supporting the development of coal plants and other large emitters of greenhouse gas emissions.
The United States, the Netherlands, Britain abstained from Thursday’s vote. The US Treasury said it abstained because of, quote, “concerns about the climate impact of the project and its incompatibility with the World Bank’s commitment to be a leader in climate change mitigation and adaptation.” The $3.75 billion [loan] includes $750 million for financing for renewables and energy efficiency projects in South Africa.
The project is also controversial in South Africa because the investment arm of the ruling African National Congress has a financial stake in the construction of the coal plant. [SOURCE]

This is a done deal and the funds are already vanished, yes vanished. WBF, or World Bank Funds, are gone gone gone....

The Infinity Question

Infinity and the Barber Chair Experience
by Pat Darnell

I am looking at Visual paradise; that is a paradise I choose. Attracted to visual is only one benefit of my surfing the Internet. What does the visual lead me into?

Here is a page of a "brilliant" visual web site: The Billion Dollar Gram Information is Beautiful. That's correct; information is the beauty.
Meanwhile:
I had this conversation with mini-Me's just this evening, before work (night shift).

Pat2: "Hey, Dad, it would be cool if you did one of those .." and he waved his hands in the air.

Pat1: "What?"

P2: "One of those paintings ... like duplicate that one over there so that there is no end ..."

(P1, Dad looks at his TEXTING\ PC\ Soon to be Rock Star daughter for help)
Desiree1: "You mean infinity?" she said miraculously between multi-tasks, without ever looking up.

P2: "Like reflections in mirrors. We had those mirrors at the Chetman house, and it was fun to dance between them ... kind of spooky. When I was little, 'member?"

P1: "Okay, now I get it. Like in the old days at Barber Shops, they weren't fancy, they had mirrors in front and back; so that every time you sat in the barber chair you saw infinite reflections."

P2: "Kewl," he says to me, I think. "Yep, that's right." (then we have more pauses for infinite TEXT tete a tete's, as I sweat the details in my mind ... ) "I like that in paintings..." concludes P2 of our brief encounter with Infinity.

That is about the extent of the subject discussion -- but it lingers on in my mind through the night.. Even if I am alone in this feeling, I usually get a very "strange" queasy spell when I "try" to think of a universe never ending ... I suppose I have been puzzled by the aspect for my whole life.

For instance, do the nerve endings of the soles of our feet have origins in the beelleeons and beelleeons of stars?
[Answer: Yes, of course. Carl Sagan says "starstuff pondering the stars."]
So when knock-off-Armani-esque version-in-BanLon, Carl Sagan kept saying to us through our TV's in maple wood cabinets resting on burnt vegetable colored shag carpet in our living rooms:
"... beelleeons and beelleeons of stars, in beelleeons and beelleeons of galaxies,
of beelleeons and beelleeons of universes, ..." [Note: it took Carl a while to get his TV chops together back then.]
Don't leave me hanging there Carl !!!! ... for the LOVE OF GOD, WHAT's NEXT ?!

Sagan, Carl, elucidated a hidden stigma about obscurity of space surrounding us, using visual mechanist color TV of that period to help with visual contexts. But, really Dudes and Dudettes, what is next?

I can do the painting, but it won't zig-zag, TEXT, quip or whizzzz, or translate. Will my kids be disappointed? BEELLEEONS of tear drops?

I can do the scene all right, but it might have some similarities with this one:
