MooPig Opening Old Sores Department :: "This was the Best Republican 2 Years Ago"

Chicanery ~~ use of trickery to achieve a political, financial, or legal purpose.
Mixed Mashed Articles by Pat Darnell  |  Nov 16, 2014  |  Bryan TX

Mitt Robmoney is so clean that he "doesn't drink coffee or Coke because they have caffeine in them." But that too may be a lie. He might go into his closets and drink a few gulps of Coke or coffee on the sly. We will never know for sure who is lying about what.

Steven Haas has invoked the RICO Act and begun procedures to find evidence of wrong doing in processes during liquidation of eToys in 2001 by Bain Capital, Robmoney's little company.

Concerning Robmoney's recent tact to stump for mid-term Kansas senatorial election Republican Pat Roberts (not the preacher) that turned out to be more of his gossiping about Obama. Dull.

MooPig "Opening Old Sores Department" wants to point out that politicians, like most actors/athletes/musicians/radio hosts have an "expiration date." It is in our best interest that they find their happy place out of the spotlight. Become a blogger, like us!

BREAKING: Mitt Romney is Being Sued in Federal Court for Criminal Racketeering | Americans Against the Tea Party: "Steven “Laser” Haas is the owner and sole shareholder of Collateral Logistics Inc. (CLI) the firm which was retained to oversee the liquidation of assets in the bankruptcy of eToys in 2001. During the process of liquidating the company Haas came across irregularities, unethical practices and outright criminal acts originating from the top at Bain Capital (Mitt Romney’s asset management firm), Goldman Sachs, Kay Bee Toys and Stage Stores, all of which were involved in the machinations to sell eToys for mere pennies to Bain through its interest in Kay Bee (Bob Cull. January 2, 2014. LINK)."

Definition ~ "... RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) statute which allows a plaintiff to become a “Private Attorney General” when it is necessary in order to address “Prosecutorial Gaps.”( Bob Cull.  in Crime, Most Popular on AATTP, TEApublicans in Action January 2, 2014. LINK)..."
CONCLUSION
Anyone with a average income would be destroyed by this bevy of charges and lawsuits that taunt Robmoney, Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, Michael Glazer, Barry Gold and Paul Traub. These high rollers play for big pots of money.
"... Haas has summarized the steps to be taken in his suit:
Summons granted.
Request for a Court Order to have U.S. Marshals serve the summons.
First amended complaint Part 1. Part 2. Part 3.
New case order.
Haas’s preliminary RICO case statement.
If Haas’ list of charges prove to be backed up by the evidence, this could be one of the most interesting civil trials in recent years.
No matter the outcome, there is little question that just having this case make it into court will stain the reputations of all involved permanently, (LINK)..."

MooPig City Desk Department :: "Those Loathsome Republicans"

Self-loathing Seminars Available
Retrieved by Pat Darnell | Jan 20, 2013 | Bryan TX

[Picture LINK]

Obama won the popular vote with 65.9 million votes, or 51.1 percent, to Romney’s 60.9 million, or 47.2 percent, and won the Electoral College by a wide margin, 332-206 electoral votes.

There are other signs that Republican state legislators, governors and veteran political strategists are seriously considering making a shift, as the GOP looks to rebound from presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s Electoral College shellacking and the demographic changes that threaten the party’s long-term political prospects.  (HERE)

Among the motivational speakers invited to address the retreat is Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind man to climb Mt Everest and thus the perfect person to inspire Republicans as they grope their way towards the heights of government. (HERE)

Republicans Retreat To Reassess and Figure Out How to Talk to Negroes and People With Lady Parts | Common Dreams: "Republican lawmakers have gathered in Williamsburg, Virginia to consider their political past (not so rosy) and future (not so rosy either), discuss topics from the debt ceiling and gun control to how to game the electoral college, and attend seminars titled "What Happened and Where Are We Now?" (good question!) ...

"How Is America Changing?" and "Successful Communication with Minorities and Women" - the last held in the Burwell Plantation Room, so named for a fine old slave-owning family, and located in the tony Kingsmill Resort, site of another fine old slave plantation.

Presumably, breakout sessions will include do's and don'ts on nappy hair and how to distinguish from illegitimate, oh-really-it's-nothing rape and actual, maybe-this-is-not-so-okay rape-rape, which the three white men and two women on the panel can hopefully figure out."

'via Blog this'

Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., who heads Republicans' campaign efforts, deflected a question regarding the irony of a panel trying to help the GOP woo minorities happening in a room named after a slave-owning family’s plantation.

"I don't pick the rooms we meet in," Walden said. "I know the Democrats have held their retreats here too and I assume you'll go and figure out if they ever held meetings in that same room."

When pressed on why there were three white men (half the group) on a panel regarding minority outreach Walden said, "Actually, I don't do this part of it, by the way, somebody can fill you in on all the names, but it is more than just three white guys on the panel, and it was filled out after that went to press."

Walden made known that minority outreach and recruiting minority House GOP candidates were a “top priority” and that the GOP had a “good message” for minorities but had suffered from a recent "bad communications." (Luke Russert and Frank Thorp, NBC News. 2 days ago. HERE)

[Picture LINK] ... The resort was once the Kingsmill Plantation.

Panels will take place in the resort’s “Burwell Plantation” room, named after the family that once owned the plantation. The luxury resort is now owned by billionaire Philip Anschutz, a conservative political donor.

[Picture LINK] It is up to us to figure out who the culprits are, and what their methods are, who ruined our beloved country. We the people are responsible to end all corruption.

Bernie Madoff was thrown in jail, right? Bernie Madoff made 10.5% on his bogus returns... and got caught when he couldn't produce the cash to investors.

Why then is Romney free today after skimming his 173% returns on investments while heading up his company Bain Capital? That is why he wouldn't "release" his tax returns; because he usurped funds from secret operations, putting skimmed profits into foreign accounts, writing checks to his thug bosses, and chopping up company's in corporate hit-man fashion.

Who are the thug bosses -- start with the Bush's. How many of the jokers are loose today via CIA clandestine operations? Most of them aren't running for public office ... I don't think. That is how Robmoney got his mission in life twisted around.

Hey, Mitt, you can't be the International Man of Mystery and also run for Prez ... and that is why we make Mitt Robmoney the Dumbass of the 21st Century, before the century even gets started.

It is just one of many expose's of the retardation of the International Man of Mystery, Mitt Romney... and we can now say this type of crap is the mode of operations for most of our leadership in Washington... headed up by the venomous Bush's.

Corruption Mitt Romney: International Man of Mystery: "a decade of 173% yearly returns, Bain Capital, BrasscheckTV, Cocaine, Dick Cheney, George Bush Sr., Iran-Contra, Mitt Romney, money-laundering, narco-trafficking, Panama, The Bain Game, The Bush-Romney Connection"

" ...  This clip makes it pretty clear as to what Bain Capital and its CEO were up to throughout the 1990s and it explains the real source of Mitt Romney's phenomenal success as an asset manager.
So much of this information is publicly available, it is shocking that it's never previously been presented so clearly.

Firstly, Mitt Romney's close relationship with George Bush Sr. and Dick Cheney are newsworthy -- and it's also newsworthy that these close ties have NOT been in the news.

Secondly, the "Bain Game" played by Romney: when he left the management consulting firm, Bain and Company in 1989 to form his own company, of which he was the President, CEO and the sole stockholder, the name of his new company was "Bain Capital."

What? He left Bain and Company to form Bain Capital, a corporation with no legal ties to his former boss, Bill Bain?

As the President, CEO and sole stockholder of Bain Capital, Romney could write checks, contracts, audits -- he could do anything without ever having to explain anything to anyone about what went on at that company.

He had specifically set up Bain Capital in such a way that he could operate in complete secrecy. Why?

On July 19, 2012, the Los Angeles Times reported that Mitt Romney's super-secret Bain Capital had managed to pay out the staggeringly unreal average yearly return of 173% to its investors -- for over a decade!

Most of the funds which investors put into Bain Capital were channeled through corporations set up in Panama, long known to be a haven of secretive banking -- and of cocaine money laundering.

The State Department officially refers to Panama as the "Primary repository and conduit for Colombian and Mexican narco-trafficking cartels." Watch [the above] clip and don't let your jaw break when it hits the floor!

It is just one of many expose's of the retardation of the International Man of Mystery, Mitt Romney... and we can now say this type of crap is the mode of operations for most of our leadership in Washington...

The 2012 Election :: Maps to Gander
Retrieved by Pat Darnell  |  Dec 31, 2012  |  Bryan TX
[Map LINK] Blue is Obama, Red is Republican ...

Election maps: What can we learn from Maps? Cartography is not dead? Maybe. The captions from the web page say this:
" ... The explanation for this apparent paradox, as pointed out by many people, is that the map fails to take account of the population distribution. It fails to allow for the fact that the population of the red states is on average significantly lower than that of the blue ones. The blue may be small in area, but they represent a large number of voters, which is what matters in an election.

We can correct for this by making use of a cartogram, a map in which the sizes of states are rescaled according to their population (ibid.)... "
   'via Blog this'

As you can see, the states have been stretched and squashed, some of them substantially, to give them the appropriate sizes, though it's done in such a way as to preserve the general appearance of the map, so far as that's possible. On this map there is now clearly more blue than red.

MooPig's Fact-Checker Department :: "Harry Reid"

Public Record is not so Public, is it?!
Picked up by Pat Darnell  |  Nov 28, 2012  |  Bryan TX

[Picture LINK]

It doesn't matter now, Romney got shellacked in the election, but did he or did he not pay income taxes for ten years? I still would like to know how far old Mitt went in his money grubbing years with Bain Capital.

It looks like this is something a member of the citizenry of the USA is not meant to know. DRAT!

Another factchecking fiasco : CJR: "A week ago, The Huffington Post’s Sam Stein and Ryan Grim published an article repeating Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s claim that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes for ten years. Though Reid provided no evidence other than hearsay about what he was told by an unnamed Bain investor (which HuffPost clarified in the ninth paragraph of the story), the story set in motion a controversy that exemplifies how partisans and ideologues exploit the structural weaknesses of journalism and factchecking." (Brendan Nyhan. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. LINK)

'via Blog this'

The facts that would exonerate or validate the income tax dodge "went by way of misleading half-truths and strategically ambiguous language to promote agendas."
" ... No one, including Reid, has seriously contested the claim that his accusation is unsubstantiated. Instead, Romney opponents and critics of factchecking organizations have relied on a series of semantic maneuvers to try to change the issue. This approach has often been successful—in part, it seems, because the GOP nominee has breached a norm in not releasing more tax returns, creating an impression among reporters that he has something to hide. ... "
" ... The highest ranked Democrat in Congress, Reid is known more as a back room brawler than a public flamethrower. So his willingness to throw this private conversation into the media frenzy over Romney's taxes underscores the low opinion he has of the Republican candidate. (HUFF POST. 07/31/2012. LINK) ... "

Our Economic Crisis is years -- no, decades -- in the making. Propaganda has been spewed about a "strong dollar" ... "trade partners" ... "why the costs of gold and silver rose..." and what does all the talk bring us?

For answers you have to research Tim Geithner's regime as Treasury Secretary. Ho-hum... boring... it's not about kittens and teenagers. No; it's more like a story about "if you can't screw it, or throw money at it, it isn't worth anything..." rhetoric.

Here's how that rhetoric goes:
" ... Unbowed by the dollar's recent weakness — it hit its lowest level since August 2008 Tuesday -- or record-setting gold and silver prices, Geithner reiterated a now familiar theme among policymakers: The dollar's strength during the "darkest moments" of the crisis is "very encouraging," he said, and shows investors "retain fundamental confidence in the ability of the U.S. to manage" its long-term budget issues. (Cohen, Dave. 04/27/2011. HERE) ... "

Filling Geithner's (Small) Shoes: "In an economic crisis, the treasury secretary (tied with the Fed chairman) becomes the most important domestic public official after the president. Two huge and interconnected issues will face the next secretary: what to do about the still dysfunctional and largely unreformed banking system; and how to deal with the elite clamor for deficit reduction uber alles." (Robert Kuttner: 09/23/2012. HERE)

Timothy Geithner has said that he'll step down as Treasury Secretary at the end of Obama's first term. Assuming that Mitt Romney keeps self-destructing and Obama wins a second term, who should succeed him?

" ... Here are some people who might be taken seriously. I hope my comments don't spoil it for the relative good guys...
  • Erskine Bowles.
  • Jack Lew.

Aug 31, 2012. LINK. retrieved from HERE)

'via Blog this'
" ... Mitt Romney is one of the greatest and most irresponsible debt creators of all time," Taibbi writes. He goes on to say, "In the past few decades, in fact, Romney has piled more debt onto more unsuspecting companies, written more gigantic checks that other people have to cover, than perhaps all but a handful of people on [planet] Earth."

Writes Taibbi in August issue of Rolling Stone: " ... Mitt Romney is no tissue-paper man. He's closer to being a revolutionary, a backward-world version of Che or Trotsky, with tweezed nostrils instead of a beard, a half-Windsor instead of a leather jerkin. His legendary flip-flops aren't the lies of a bumbling opportunist – they're the confident prevarications of a man untroubled by misleading the nonbeliever in pursuit of a single, all-consuming goal. Romney has a vision, and he's trying for something big: We've just been too slow to sort out what it is, just as we've been slow to grasp the roots of the radical economic changes that have swept the country in the last generation. ..." Who Would Win in a Cage Match? :: No Holds Barred

By Pat Darnell  |  Aug 18, 2012  |  Bryan TX

You've got to love Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello. Some dudes just talk about the issues — he acts. In recent years, he’s picketed for farm workers, thrown his support behind various boycotts, and has even been arrested with underpaid hotel workers. You have to respect that. He doesn’t talk, he ... gets out there and actually participates in nonviolent resistance.

“Paul Ryan’s love of Rage Against the Machine is amusing, because he is the embodiment of the machine that our music has been raging against for two decades,” Morello declares in an op-ed piece for Rolling Stone.

[Picture LINK]  " ...  "You're so pretty, Magic," said Mrs. Romney. As if we don’t know by now, The Romney’s are not like most Americans, they invest in a rich man’s sport called dressage and some morally depraved horse trading.

The Romney’s employed a German trainer, Mr. Ebeling who continues to work for the Romney dressage business which is also used as a tax deduction. The case was settled out of court. NY Times

In an interview with NBC set to air Thursday, Ann Romney, wife of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, said her husband's campaign will not release any additional tax returns to the public ahead of the election.

"We have been very transparent to what's legally required of us," Romney told reporter Natalie Morales, according to excerpts from NBC News. "There's going to be no more tax releases given."

But as for whether the campaign is trying to withhold embarrassing information, Ann Romney told NBC "there's nothing we're hiding."

MooPig's Famous Last Words Department :: Harry Reid

Harry Reid: Bain Investor Told Me That Mitt Romney 'Didn't Pay Any Taxes For 10 Years': "Reid has jabbed at Romney before. Indeed, during the HuffPost interview, he seemed to revel in the headlines and fallout his attacks have caused.

"It's interesting, my guy from Vegas wrote this. He's a snarky guy, [Las Vegas Sun political reporter] Jon Ralston. He's a center guy. I like Jon just fine, but he's cynical, and I guess that's what serves him well. So he criticizes me for saying that Romney couldn't be elected dogcatcher," Reid recalled."

Romney's Talk Radio :: (Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Etc.)

Bain Capital Owns Clear Channel (Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, Etc.):

'via Blog this'
The deal in which Bain Capital became one of the owners of Clear Channel was initiated just a short time before Mitt Romney's first run for president. The following comes from Wikipedia....
On November 16, 2006, Clear Channel announced plans to go private, being bought out by two private-equity firms, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital Partners for $18.7 billion, which is just under a 10 percent premium above its closing price of $35.36 a share on November 16 (the deal values Clear Channel at $37.60 per share).

The deal was finalized in 2008. Today, Bain Capital is still one of the primary owners of Clear Channel.

One of the subsidiaries of Clear Channel is Premiere Radio Networks.

And yes, Mitt Romney is still bringing in lots of money from Bain Capital. The following comes from a Wikipedia article about Mitt Romney....
At the time of his departure, Romney negotiated an agreement with Bain Capital that allowed him to receive a passive profit share as a retired partner in some Bain Capital entities, including buyout and investment funds.[62][57] With the private equity business continuing to thrive, this deal would bring him millions of dollars in income each year.[57] As a result of his business career, by 2007 Romney and his wife had a net worth of between $190 and $250 million, most of it held in blind trusts.[62] An additional blind trust existed in the name of the Romneys' children and grandchildren that was valued at between $70 and $100 million as of 2007.[63] The couple's net worth remained in the same range as of 2011, and was still held in blind trusts.

Move the Federal Capital to Salt Lake City, please Mr. Bush!!

Retrieved from: http://jessicafertitta.wordpress.com/2007/04/19/mormons-mitt-and-money-oh-my/#more-39
An array of donors who never had given money in a federal election opened their wallets to Mitt Romney this year, drawn to him through his networks in the business world and the Mormon church.
Utah, seldom a go-to state for politicians seeking money, was Romney’s second most generous state, reflecting the ties he has built there through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his time as president of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Games.
That success helped vault Romney to the top of the money race among Republican presidential candidates with more than $20 million in the first quarter of this year.
An analysis of new campaign finance reports by The Associated Press shows that in some Utah ZIP codes, Romney, a Mormon and former governor of Massachusetts, raised nearly 10 times the amounts raised by President Bush in each of the past two presidential elections.
“I don’t part with my money lightly, but I felt it was money well spent,” said Ken Leister, a Mormon and a businessman from Sandy, Utah. Leister, a first time political donor, and his wife contributed $2,000 to the Romney camp this year.
