petition is poetry
poetry is petition
protest is poetry
I was awaken last night to a thunder clap, that did not actually happen. I lay as quiet as a mouse, then decided it must have been a part of the dream I was having. It was a dream [some would call a nightmare] in which I had entered the early stages of dementia.
My nightmare ...a predominant question was on my mind from the start: I was demanding to know what would it take to keep my parents from outliving their money... , Whilst also we [four families with their pets] had arrived to re-visit or maybe re-union with the entire collection of cousins, aunts and uncles... at a house near Dallas... somewhere in rural Central Texas, whence I could not find a privy, so I had to squat in a laundry room that had been modified with a seat over the standpipe of the clothes washer... Where-with only my brother in there, who regarded me perplexedly, finishing my business just before two young rug-rats and their puppy burst into the laundry room through an accordion type folding door, only to make me dive for another closet full of tuxedos, whilst brother scooped up the kids, as it was time that we all had to dress up for a school play that all the little grand nephews and nieces were having at their school theater.
Which I am interpreting as "The Show Must go On!"
That is when it came to me that I should start the Blogger Sit-in, for democracy, and freedom.. Especially freedom from brainwashing!! I was on the verge of something in the nightmare, that can only be explained with rage. Yes, I was a raging tuxedo clad brute at the show, and really wanting to get on a soap-box... when the rural thunderclap of central Texas awoke me.
The only fish left in the aquarium was staring at me, as I floundered to be alert, then I thought of a pun: Open-sores or what ever, it is philosophy back on the streets... and you can get a PhD in here, that will propel one into a generation of free-men and women, at any age, with any interruption, with any open source.
If you are not publishing right now... guess what, you aren't sitting in at the First Ever Blogger Sit-in.
Then I open my mail this mOnday morning and there it the UWoD:
Urban Word of the Day www.urbandictionary.com April 21, 2008: web shyThere is a system in our universe whereby information is never lost, and holds true to the nth degree of smallness, to the freaknob degree of largeness... it coincides with our cherished belief in conservation of matter/enrgy/mass.http://web-shy.urbanup.com/3012421 Unwillingness to expose one's thoughts, feelings or identity on the web, knowing that doing so means freaknobs from Baton Rouge to Bangladesh will know everything about you.
"Jeez, Paul--you need to get with it! You should create your own web site, post your picture, do some blogging about your beliefs, and generally trumpet yourself and your innermost thoughts via that there Internet.""You kidding me? I am waaaaaaaay too web shy for any of that!"
