Well, no doubt at all, their photo was chopped. But for an authentic pic of an actual Iranian launch I offer this one...[url="http://farm4.static.

MooPig knew that the Truth would eventually be known through the industries of Bloggers worldwide. These were really Bung Hole to Surface Missiles, as shown in this predoctoral unretouched photo angle.
Can we get a "one-atta-boy" for Monte?
"OeO-ay..." thanks chorus at Pribek.net

July 20 -- Truth Rises out of the Ashes of Camels -- UPDATE
It has never been easier to fake it with Photoshop. But, when tools like Graham-Cumming's become more mature and sophisticated, photography will in essence have its own DNA. Making your nation look omnipotent will become a little more difficult.

Pribek.net ran this by his audience this morning.... MooPig was astounded that its own reason for existence has so blatantly been given yet another new Proof for its Posit. Get Smart was right all along, Chaos is responsible for many things. Here are the goods linked in the musician's post --
Thursday, July 10, 2008 Photos hopped Iranian Missile Launch
John Graham-Cummings: "Some time ago I wrote about my implementation of an algorithm for detecting copy/paste for doctoring photographs. Today the New York Times reports that a photograph of an Iranian missile launch appears to have been doctored.
(Retrieved here jgc.org for critical review)
Here's the picture:
Apparently a time consuming, memory eater, John Graham-Cummings says: "I ran it through my code and it quickly shows up large chunks of smoke that appear to have been displaced:
"Tweaking the knobs on the algorithm would probably show more smoke copying, but I don't have the free time. Labels: pseudo-randomness"
MooPig Photos-CHoppers are full of some other examples... [ping, ping, algorithm, ping, ping, squeaky, squeaky, doctor, doctor, cut paste, cut paste...] that is the photo department in the background fastidiously putting another example of digital chaos together.
While we wait for them the finish, MooPig coveted Awards Editors would like to give John Graham-Cummings its scoop of the month award: Fraternal Order of the Penguins of Irony patch shown at the top of the page. Congratulations jgc.org, nice over and above work on our order of chaos.
And now the MooPig Art Department has this to show you:
"Hey, you guys, you can't be serious? ...that is already been done... we're going to hire Andie Dick to come in here and fire you all!!!!"

this picture of Oswald is really funny... it was incredibly stupid back in '69 a cut and paste that I think someone made it stupid at the tech level on purpose when ordered by some buzz head to make a composite... I suggest people own up to the faux, and laugh their assoff with me.
Ozzy is holding a cigar here.. no? in his right hand... Where's the cigar?
