George W is not a gifted liar. He has no talent for looking like he is telling the truth while giving out misinformation, double talk, red herrings and other untruths. And like many conditional body language hitches, his onlookers notice and think he "is" lying.
TV people have become very good at looking credible, and expect the Politicians to follow their rules of presentation. In early days of TV, people were less aware of lenses picking up their every flaw and tic.
George W is given what to say in his written speeches that are half-true, and he reads it. If he starts talking though, he is telling a different story. It is perceived as a lie most of the time.
This flaw is not "good" for business. One must have an extraordinary ability to lie under duress, and not miss a beat in one's explanation. I suggest talking with experts on the subject, if you have further interest, or, if you strongly disagree.
That is why no one likes him very much. He is obviously reluctant to boldly go where his father and others have gone. He is tongue tied, maybe temporarily, but the deed is done. Anyway, it's all moot, and in the freezer.
That's about all I have today. Thanks.
Pat. Pend.

Since our great country is based on a separation of Church and State platform, it behooves politicians to be very careful how they profess their faith. President Bush has made it clear that he is a "practicing" Christian. The denominational polarization of Christians makes it tough to be Biblical with your worship, as the President has. Dangerous for a politician to witness for Christ in public. It seems as if every Christian group has their own version of the Word and interpret It, to expedite the filling of the coffers, or whatever.
So, President Bush has dealt with his own human short-comings on the world stage, while being under constant attack from gainsayers and Satan. As best I can tell, he hasn't backed down from either and has put God first and foremost. Never denying Christ as the Lord and Savior. History will show a man who had flaws. God will allow him to be seen as one of His children, lifted to the position of earthly power, so many men have been in since Creation.
George Bush is my peer, from a positioned station with a legacy of political placement and acumen.
Many of our age group have similar backgrounds, just different implementation of character and skills. We couldn't form a dynasty. Already, it is turned over to the "forty somethings".
I pray for the youth to be faithful and steadfast to God. All of the bull-headed, belligerence in the world solves nothing.
God listens, Jesus cleanses and redeems and the Holy Spirit indwells in us. Remember to ask, seek and knock. dpd
That's my big brother...
