Today I went to church after a few months and everyone was so happy to see me. Pastor James Mercado came up to me and gave me the biggest hug ever as if I were his son and just came home to visit.
During service, Mike Zilli, who is the ministry leader for the Younger Adult group and Shane Kelbel gave me their numbers and invited me to meet up with them somewhere near my house to join them for a BBQ on Thursday to eat and gather with the other younger adults to share some experiences of mine and just bring everything out in the open within a smaller group of people.
This will give me a chance to meet new people an confide in some real good, down to earth people that I will be able to talk to about life situations on a daily basis.
As of today with the sermon that the Pastor gave about our Fathers put me in the right direction to start looking at things at a whole different perspective. He said that fathers aren't perfect but they are here for listening to our problems and advising how to grow from our mistakes because they have been in our position at one point in their life.
He also mentioned that sometimes you just feel like you want to spit in your father's face because of some of the things that you may go through, which I felt was my case....then he advised quickly after he said it that he would not advise to spit otherwise it would cause more problems with the father son relationship.
So just stick it out and work through the problems and God will help with your problems if you confide and talk to him about it.
I will continue the update on my progress with this new small group that I will be getting involved in.

My dear Vinnie I am so happy that you made that connection at church and you are receiving healing and Godly love.
I am so proud of you! Rest in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and He will direct your path!
I love you my son and I will always love you no matter what!
Your mom forever
