I have here a "free source" operating system that can be partitioned with WINDOWS or installed all by itself. It comes out of free OS software LINUX push that was
introduced back in the 90's. Before then, UNIX is the birth mother of Linux and offered free as an Operating System for world computing community, if anyone remembers. Now enters UBUNTU, already in its 8.10 version. It is quick, it is slick, but ... it ain't Windows...
MooPig's question is: "Has a promise made in 1962 by our Commander-in-Chief and his administration at the time, finally found its way to our living rooms?"
This hairdresser wants to know what only his hairdresser has known all this time.

UBUNTU has a birthday. Thank you Al Gore, we think.
