Bill Reed The Heisman should have been awarded to Manti Te'o of Notre Dame. Case closed.
The MAN is a MONSTER.

Bill Reed Nellie -- it's this kind of crap that is taking even sport away from my enjoyment table. I find myself making my own amusement and entertainment.
Spectator sports are losing their appeal (for me).
Too much hype. Lacking in substance.

Bill Reed I didn't think that I would ever enjoy it -- BUT the UFC has gotten me hooked here lately. Especially since boxing these days is a bust.

Kenneth Tew Johnny Heisman is very deserving of the award. His body of work this season is ultra impressive.

Mike Ross Te'o is all substance. That's why he finished second. The Heisman is defined as honoring college football's "Most Outstanding Player". They should go ahead and redefine it as college football's "Flashiest Offensive Weapon".

Bill Reed Yeah Nel -- the whole "are they students or are they athletes bringing the trophy back for the campus?" thing is such a crock.

Nelson Harrington It is ,Bill ...The MAIN reason Penn St kept that monster around for so long... the money they might lose if it got out ..... but that is a whole 'nother thread ..lol

Patrick Darnell I live here in Aggie Land, Bryan TX, just next door to A\M, and I think Teo should have won. But I am just a po' boy, no fortunate son.

Only one defensive player, someone named Woodson, also played wide-out, has won the award in 70 something years. Seems to lean toward the high-powered offensive types.
Kerrville, where the women are pretty, the children are smart and the men win Heisman trophies.
He-is-Man-ziel .... I'm weeping. I voted for Teo too. Gold domes d' fence, all d' way, Neuter Dame.
Seems like Nosotros Dames and TAMU should play the last game of the season. It'd be the biggest,
wildest crowd ever. Shiner would have to brew some green beer. Gig'em!!!
