In the Colbert Report last night was the story of one blogger who as guest on the show described yobbish yobbo treatments, what we curmudgeons have all been harping all along:
Last night on The Colbert Report, he had on a shocker of a guest. The man who is credited by Palin for getting her the VP nod. [ http://palinforvp.blogspot.com/ ] This blog was started in the summer of 2007.

Yes it is a funny thing that happened on the way to the RNC Convention.

Republicans:
I keep saying that it’s really sickening that The Daily Show and The Colbert Report end up providing more news than the 24 cable news shows do. I try to catch both of these shows before going to sleep so that I can have a few laughs but over the last couple of years, both have done better jobs of covering what we really should know about better than all the big news media. Democrats:
Last night, around 9:00, I drove into town to get some food. I turned on the talk radio station and there was a woman speaking about the politics of divisiveness?? or something like that. It dawned on me that I had missed the State of the Union Address and that, what I was listening to was the rebuttal. Now, I just caught the tail end of it. The announcer came on and said that, lo and behold, the speaker was Kathleen Sibelius. He referred to her as an up and comer in the Democratic Party and a possible Vice Presidential candidate… (Pribek.net)
Since I am just meandering on this new development, I have no summary to make. So, I only conclude the veep for the Dems could have been Kathleen… And — had we all half-dozen or so jumped in back in January with a clamor and a shake… and a blogger hummmm: we could have had Dueling Governor female VEEP’s — one from the corn state, one from the oil state..
Blogs that are telling it like it is, is the mark of YOBS? Not anymore.
