Belding Hardware Co. has opened its doors at 307 N. Bridge St. After Rayburn's True Value Hardware closed this spring, partners Kevin Hall and Kevin Strause opened the business in a building that formerly housed a print shop.

Stolen Items Returned to Owner
Six canoes and a trailer stolen from a church in 2008 have now been returned. Those items were stolen from a church in Ionia County and were found at a home in Belding.

A 44-year-old Belding area man was seriously injured after his pickup veered off Kiddville Road late Wednesday and struck a tree.
