Bit of a shocker. Shows how much i know about boxing, i thought the big fella would club him to death !.

In a title fight, the challenger never wins on points. If it comes down to points, the benefit of the doubt is always given to the champ. I have no vested interest in who won and I couldn't care less either way, but this smacks of something distasteful.

Brilliant!!!!
- Frank T E Jones, Essex, 08/11/2009 09:01Respectability has been restored to Heavyweight boxing by David Haye. Nikolay Valuev he has never been a class act, just simply a most unusual man making the most of his physical stature. Questions will always arise like "what would Ali have done"? or "could Marciano have clubbed Valuev to the canvas"? Both would have undoubtedly beaten Valuev, but this is 2009 and the task fell to David Haye.
- Tony, Wilmslow UK, 08/11/2009 09:00One would think DAVID Haye, still reigning WBA World Champ, would have brought a sling and a stone to the match... like Shepherd Boy David did ... when he defeated Goliath in a similar match-up ground game. David ended up King too. HA! Very Funny!
