Liner Notes: "This is the sound recording of the original 'Heart and Soul' in the 1930's (1938). [MusicOverYears]
April 07, 2008] The music was written by Hoagy Carmichael, the lyrics were written by Frank Loesser, the song was actually performed by Larry Clinton and his Orchestra.
It is often played as a duet, in C Major. It is a popularly played piece on the piano, however this song (the original) is actually no where on YouTube, which is why I am uploading it.
I first became interested in this, (after being able to play a fairly good version myself), I found a video of it, and researched it a little.
It is, possibly most famously featured in the film Big, where Tom Hanks plays it on a supersize keyboard. (It's also the theme tune for Big)
Another popular appearance was in Stuart Little. Without further ado, thanks for listening. (HERE)"

Hi,
Many dance viewers find dance competetions it to be inspiring and they love to see all of the various dance moves that people bring to the show. They aren't seeing the same stuff over and over again so the programming remains fresh even to those that have been watching it since it started.
